Blue Flame Service Ltd is a local firm based in Maryport, Cumbria, originally set up by Tim Kemp in 2001 and then in partnership with David Harrison in 2003. Over the past 15 years we have developed and grown into one of Cumbria ’s leading utility contractors providing first class plumbing, heating, electrical and renewable services.

Our fleet of 10 fully fitted vehicles support all the services we provide covering the whole of Cumbria, Millom to Carlisle, Whitehaven to Penrith.

We cover all aspects of Plumbing, Heating and Electrical. Blue Flame Services are now able to offer boiler finance and Bathroom finance options throughout Cumbria.

Blue Flame can now offer easy payment solutions with 0% APR on all boiler, bathroom and electrical installations.

We can now protect your Home with a range of Boiler Care packages starting from £0.37 a day, all packages include an annual boiler service, unlimited call outs and up to £1,000 inc vat for repair works.

After giving us a start date of 25th January 2021, they rang and asked if they could come on Wednesday 13th. Jan. Naturally, we agreed and what a wonderful job Darren and his mate did. Nothing was too much trouble and they coped with the bathroom we had already purchased very well. They left the new room very clean and offered to come back and check once we had got used to it. Every thing we asked for (and more!) was done and exactly at the price we had agreed. I will be using them in future for my boiler service.

Got Blue Flame in to change my 20 year old back boiler system into a modern solution. The scope involved taking the redundant fire out, finding a location for the new Worcester and running new pipes including installation of new valves and one new radiator. Fantastic job everything works as it should - had recently renovated my home to a and this was taken into account by the team who left workface spotless. 10/10

From start to finish I have been impressed with the service provided by Blue Flame Services. At quotation stage the advice given by Jon was invaluable, and this made me decide to use the company. I had a new boiler fitted, and was given a new supply of hot water to the kitchen and utility room. The team of installers, Lee and Darren, dealt with everything on the quotation in a professional and helpful manner. They were happy to answer any questions I posed, and they left the premises clean and tidy. They completed the work on schedule. Finally, the office staff are always very polite and helpful when I call. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

The young plumber who serviced our electric boiler and heating system hadn't worked on many electric systems, but he serviced ours without any problems and explained how it all worked and what exactly had needed doing. He was a very efficent tidy worker, he also observed the coronavirus safety precautions without being asked and even washed the cup I gave him tea in, in the bathroom sink before handing it back to me! What made this guy stand out was his knowledge, friendliness and skill at his job. I am only sorry I did not get his name as I want him back the next time I need work doing.

I honestly can’t recommend Blue Flame highly enough - over the past eight years they have fitted a gas boiler for us and carried out our annual service on our gas boiler and gas fire. Their workers are pleasant and knowledgeable and clean up after themselves when the work is finished, also wearing plastic overshoes and this year a mask. I am paranoid about gas safety and they are the only firm I would trust to do any gas work for us. When repairs have been needed they have been carried out promptly and a full explanation given for the need for the work to be done and what parts are needed. Well done Blue Flame.
