Blue Flame Service Ltd is a local firm based in Maryport, Cumbria, originally set up by David Harrison in 2003. Over the past 15 years we have developed and grown into one of Cumbria ’s leading utility contractors providing first class plumbing, heating, electrical and renewable services.

Our fleet of 5 fully fitted vehicles support all the services we provide covering the whole of Cumbria, Millom to Carlisle, Whitehaven to Penrith.

We cover all aspects of Plumbing and Heating, Blue Flame Services are now able to offer boiler finance and Bathroom finance options throughout Cumbria.

Blue Flame can now offer easy payment solutions with 0% APR on all boiler, bathroom and electrical installations.

We can now protect your Home with a range of Boiler Care packages starting from £0.37 a day, all packages include an annual boiler service, unlimited call outs and up to £1,000 inc vat for repair works.

Our boiler decided that after 14 years it had had enough. Blue Flame had serviced it previously and we were keen to use them as we had always found their professional and friendly service of a very high standard. In spite of a very busy workload they managed to reschedule jobs to accommodate us. The workmen arrived on time , took great pains to cover carpets and wore shoe covers. They were polite and took pains to explain exactly what they had to do. The work was completed within the day and the new boiler is working well. We recommend them wholeheartedly

Contacted Blue Flame for a quote for a combi renewal and pipework alterations. Service has been first class from initial contact with the office to the completion of the work. The quote was competitive and thorough, the lads that came to do the job were polite, neat and tidy, explained the work required and worked well in cold conditions providing an excellent finished project. I will be recommending Blue Flame to friends and family.

Great team, from the first initial contact to the home visit through to the installation. I would recommend Blue Flame services without hesitation, the whole process was so smooth, the lads carrying out the work were tidy, polite and obviously very skilled a great credit to the company.

I recently had my boiler serviced as part of my yearly requirement for my 10-year guarantee. Paul the engineer was very helpful and arrived within the promised time. I mentioned that I sometimes caught a slight whiff of gas around the incoming pipe and meter area, he checked this for me and showed me a bubble forming on an incoming elbow. We contacted the emergency number and reported the fault, Paul was good enough to stay in his van waiting for the gas boards arrival. Unfortunately, he eventually had to leave for his next scheduled service but left me with his mobile number to contact him with the outcome on completion. I did so and was pleased to receive a service that is always above and beyond the average. Thank you Paul and Blue Flame for a great service.

My first time using Blue Flame, from initial inspection and quote for the installation of a new boiler, to fitting in my home, I was aware that they were customer-focused. There was no high-pressure sales talk. On the day of the installation the two engineers arrived early, I was informed before that they were on route to my home. On arrival straight to work, very tidy approach to their work, they were very approachable and friendly. On completion of the work, I was shown how to operate the controls. The standard of finish was good and neat, the outside flu finished off to a high standard. When they had finished, they cleared up, even hoovering one of the rooms upstairs where they had loft access. The roofer also attended to replace slates where the old flu had been, this had been arranged by Blue Flame again a high standard of workmanship. Overall very happy with my experience with Blue Flame.

Responded very quickly to an old failed boiler over the Christmas period when no one else bothered. We’re able to quote quickly and then schedule a speedy installation. The site was left very tidy. Communication was first rate and paperwork was dealt with immediately.

The work undertaken was to service my oil boiler for the second time. Having used Blue Flame Services Ltd 12 months previously I was confident that the work undertaken would be completed on time and to the highest standard. The work had been booked 2 weeks earlier. On the morning of the agreed date I received an email confirming that the Engineer was on his way and would arrive at 8am. Sure enough Reece arrived bang on time and got straight to work. The service took approximately an hour and a half to complete. Reece then tested the boiler to check that it was working properly. There was excellent communication with a clear explanation as to what had been done. Professional performance from start to finish. Thank you Reece.

David and staff came promptly and tried to solve the problem with my old boiler but because of its age, they advised replacing it with a new combi-boiler. they provided a quotation for the new boiler and when this was accepted, they carried out the work promptly and efficiently and took away old equipment and rubbish, completing all tests and paperwork as necessary. I would have no hesitation in recommending Blue Flame to other customers

After being let down by another plumber I had been without heating for 1 week. Blue Flame where contacted on Friday afternoon that evening they came and fitted a new boiler. Excellent service very tidy and clean work and I now have a cosy warm house. Highly recommend, thank you
