Blue Flame Service Ltd is a local firm based in Maryport, Cumbria, originally set up by David Harrison in 2003. Over the past 15 years we have developed and grown into one of Cumbria ’s leading utility contractors providing first class plumbing, heating, electrical and renewable services.

Our fleet of 5 fully fitted vehicles support all the services we provide covering the whole of Cumbria, Millom to Carlisle, Whitehaven to Penrith.

We cover all aspects of Plumbing and Heating, Blue Flame Services are now able to offer boiler finance and Bathroom finance options throughout Cumbria.

Blue Flame can now offer easy payment solutions with 0% APR on all boiler, bathroom and electrical installations.

We can now protect your Home with a range of Boiler Care packages starting from £0.37 a day, all packages include an annual boiler service, unlimited call outs and up to £1,000 inc vat for repair works.

I have used Blue Flame to service my gas appliances for several years. This review relates to a plumbing job carried out by Blue Flame at my home. I needed a replacement bath mixer tap - Blue Flame carried out this work on time, taking great care to remove and replace the side panel on my bath with the minimum of damage. The plumbers were polite and courteous throughout, and left the bathroom clean and tidy when they finished. I am happy to recommend Blue Flame for both gas and plumbing work.

We have used BlueFlame several times now and they have always been very satisfactory.. This time theywere putting right the faults they found during a survey 'condition report' in our new home . Several earthing faults were put right incluing one which took quite a bit of detecting. The lads were helpful and explained what they were doing and why. A small glitch was put right promptly the next day.. They always leave the job tidy. i have no hesitation in recommending BlueFlame for any electrical work and plumbing work.. They are not the cheapest but they are the best and can be relied on to complete work on time and to budget / estimate.

A very clean and efficient installation of new boiler extra pressure vessel, system filled and attention to pipe work. The quality of service is more in line with what I have come to expect from the large, commercial companies that I have dealt with over many years as an architect on major projects. Not the cheapest or most expensive quote but the one that inspired the most trust and confidence.

Not the cheapest in town, but probably the best. Annual boiler service which was thorough, taking an hour and a quarter. Baffles cleaned and boiler vacuumed. Ratios of oil to air adjusted. Nozzle changed. readings checked. Cause of noisy operation checked and assessed as oil pump.

I have used blue flame on other occasions for electrical projects .I was so impressed with whole experience, that last year i took out a gas boiler and service plan with them. Many thanks to the lads at BlueFlame for converting our bathroom to a wetroom. They did a very professional job, and left the job tidy at the end of each day. I would have no hesitation in recommmending BlueFlame to others; we have used them for several smaller jobs previously. The invoices arrived very promptly after completion and were in line with the estimates, despite the job overrunning slightly.

Blue Flame have recently replaced my gas boiler. The was was done on schedule and to budget. The heating engineer worked very tidily and removed any redundant items. I have been very impressed with the Greenstar 8000 combi boiler, they balanced the radiators when commissioning the system and the house heating is so much better for it. It is reassuring to have the ongoing support of an organisation like Blue Flame who will service and maintain the system in future and hence keep the twelve year warranty valid.
