Blue Flame Service Ltd is a local firm based in Maryport, Cumbria, originally set up by David Harrison in 2003. Over the past 15 years we have developed and grown into one of Cumbria ’s leading utility contractors providing first class plumbing, heating, electrical and renewable services.

Our fleet of 5 fully fitted vehicles support all the services we provide covering the whole of Cumbria, Millom to Carlisle, Whitehaven to Penrith.

We cover all aspects of Plumbing and Heating, Blue Flame Services are now able to offer boiler finance and Bathroom finance options throughout Cumbria.

Blue Flame can now offer easy payment solutions with 0% APR on all boiler, bathroom and electrical installations.

We can now protect your Home with a range of Boiler Care packages starting from £0.37 a day, all packages include an annual boiler service, unlimited call outs and up to £1,000 inc vat for repair works.

The office staff are always professional. If they say a tradesman will arrive at a certain time, they always do. The appointment and payment arrangements are very efficient. Patrick the plumber & his colleague worked quickly, efficiently & cleanly. Patrick returning a second time at the end of his work day to top & tail the job to give us reassurance because he knew we were worrying.

They fitted a shower, toilet, sink after removing old bath & bathroom. They fitted 4 wall cladding and new flooring. They worked non stop for hours and the works were fitted satisfactory.

I have used Blue Flame to service my gas appliances for several years. This review relates to a plumbing job carried out by Blue Flame at my home. I needed a replacement bath mixer tap - Blue Flame carried out this work on time, taking great care to remove and replace the side panel on my bath with the minimum of damage. The plumbers were polite and courteous throughout, and left the bathroom clean and tidy when they finished. I am happy to recommend Blue Flame for both gas and plumbing work.

We have used BlueFlame several times now and they have always been very satisfactory.. This time theywere putting right the faults they found during a survey 'condition report' in our new home . Several earthing faults were put right incluing one which took quite a bit of detecting. The lads were helpful and explained what they were doing and why. A small glitch was put right promptly the next day.. They always leave the job tidy. i have no hesitation in recommending BlueFlame for any electrical work and plumbing work.. They are not the cheapest but they are the best and can be relied on to complete work on time and to budget / estimate.

A very clean and efficient installation of new boiler extra pressure vessel, system filled and attention to pipe work. The quality of service is more in line with what I have come to expect from the large, commercial companies that I have dealt with over many years as an architect on major projects. Not the cheapest or most expensive quote but the one that inspired the most trust and confidence.

Not the cheapest in town, but probably the best. Annual boiler service which was thorough, taking an hour and a quarter. Baffles cleaned and boiler vacuumed. Ratios of oil to air adjusted. Nozzle changed. readings checked. Cause of noisy operation checked and assessed as oil pump.

Blue flame carried out the annual service of my boiler and gas fire, they arrived 10 mins before expected but had phoned me to check if this was ok. The engineer got straight to work on the boiler first and then the fire both were done with no fuss or disruption and warranty paperwork was done at the same time, my carpet was protected by dust sheets and everything worked fine after he left. I gave the engineer the payment with cheque as agreed and he said the gas certificate will be sent to me separately later. The engineer explained what he was doing as he carried out the work and answered all my questions. Very satisfied with blue flame.

Patrick attended twice, to assess the job and order the part, and then returned to fit it. All my dealings with Blue Flame from the telephone service (I like that I can pay the bill over the phone) to the plumbers who attend, means that we get excellent, professional service.
