Blue Flame Service Ltd is a local firm based in Maryport, Cumbria, originally set up by David Harrison in 2003. Over the past 15 years we have developed and grown into one of Cumbria ’s leading utility contractors providing first class plumbing, heating, electrical and renewable services.

Our fleet of 5 fully fitted vehicles support all the services we provide covering the whole of Cumbria, Millom to Carlisle, Whitehaven to Penrith.

We cover all aspects of Plumbing and Heating, Blue Flame Services are now able to offer boiler finance and Bathroom finance options throughout Cumbria.

Blue Flame can now offer easy payment solutions with 0% APR on all boiler, bathroom and electrical installations.

We can now protect your Home with a range of Boiler Care packages starting from £0.37 a day, all packages include an annual boiler service, unlimited call outs and up to £1,000 inc vat for repair works.

Arrived home after 10pm to discover no heating or hot water. Boiler in loft showed F75 fault managed to re-set after 3 attempts. Texted owner of Blue Flame describing fault, acknowledged straight away. Engineer visited next day, identified issue, ordered new part and fixed following day. Explained all issues and solution.

We decided to change from oil to gas central heating and contacted Blue Flame. They came out immediately and told us who to contact to get gas connected to our house and what steps had to be taken. Everything and everyone we came across were so helpful and effecient. I was able to move the installation forward a few weeks which Blue Flame accommodated happily. Blue Flame were the last workmen here. The workmen knew what they were doing, worked well as a team and just got on with the job. They covered their boots when they came into the house and left the garage clean. The men were friendly, effecient and professional and seemed to work non-stop. The workmen explained how to work everything to us with great patience but we were grateful to the follow up visit from the boss the next day. A huge thank you.

After giving us a start date of 25th January 2021, they rang and asked if they could come on Wednesday 13th. Jan. Naturally, we agreed and what a wonderful job Darren and his mate did. Nothing was too much trouble and they coped with the bathroom we had already purchased very well. They left the new room very clean and offered to come back and check once we had got used to it. Every thing we asked for (and more!) was done and exactly at the price we had agreed. I will be using them in future for my boiler service.

We exchanged an external oil boiler for a new internal gas boiler. The team, Paul, Reece and electrician Barry worked really hard to create an installation that functions very effectively but also fits unobtrusively into our house. They were all very proactive in overcoming the inevitable unforeseen problems and, impressively, managed to keep smiling even at the end of a long day. I’d give them all a big thumbs up and an unqualified excellent recommendation.

We had a new combi boiler fitted on the 16th July 2021 by two engineers who were extremely competent and efficient. We also took out the boiler and gas fire service agreement to cover any future service requirements. A nice bouquet of flowers were left in appreciation of appointing BF for this work. We had a new boiler installed and 2 new electric showers. We were told the job would take 2 days and it took 1 and a half. The plumbers and electricians were very friendly, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Everything from the quote to having the work done went very smoothly and we're very happy with the results. I would definatly recommend Blue Flame and use them again for any future jobs.

Just had my central heating boiler serviced by Blue Flame. The engineer who came was pleasant and did the job quite quickly. He explained that I would get an invoice by email for my records. Paid over the phone and all done within half an hour or so. I will be using this company again for any future work with my central heating.

The blue flame team are always prompt ,they keep you updated with every thing from your 1st call to job done .we were very stressed as we had a water leak within our house boundary ,we had called lots of people but got nobody willing to look as it was nearing Xmas .blue flame answered and booked for a rep to come and access the job .we come to a job decision and they booked us in for 22nd Dec .we were notified before they come and the workers arrived on time ,the job was done as discussed and they were very clean and professional in what they did .blue flame have worked for us in the past and I would highly recommend them .well done blue flame .

Combi Boiler installation to replace old boiler, new controls & radiator valves, removal of water tanks, installation of a new radiator & gas fire service. The company were fantastic from first enquiry to completion of the work, especially the installers. There was no hard sell and I got an explanation of the options available to me and their recommendation. I received a detailed quote and we agreed an installation date which fitted with my schedule. I was kept informed of a slight delay to the start time on the first day and the work was completed within the original quoted timescale of 2.5 days. The staff doing the installation were amazing. They were hard working, friendly, efficient and professional completing the work to a very high standard and leaving the property better than it was originally. I will be taking out a service package and have already recommended this company twice.
