I’ve just used Bolt Removals for my house move and it was a great experience, from the moment I had a video call with Ana and got a quote, to the moving day itself. We recently asked Bolt Removals to help with moving our office as well as transporting furniture from storage (also with Bolt). I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the first meeting to the actual day, the team were faultless, even when moving very large items in small areas. The team had no issues with carrying large bookcases and desks upstairs, and couldn't do more to help. The large boxes supplied meant that our computer equipment and screens were very well protected. And i can confirm there were no 'moving casualties' as everything turned out the otherside unharmed. Thank you Bolt!

Recently used Bolt Removals to move house within Cardiff, we paid for the packing service as well. They were very helpful in explaining the process, packed the house the day before, with all boxes carefully packed, and marked with the contents and room. On moving day they were punctual, extremely efficient, very friendly and reasonably priced. We would happily use them again in the future

Bolt Removals moved me from SW London to Cardiff 4 years ago and I am so happy I chose to use them again for my latest move; Their quote was extremely competitive, as was the process to get it (I had a video call within 3-4 hours of my enquiry, and a quote only hours after that). Ana-Maria was excellent in preparation for the move with extremely quick and helpful answers to all of my questions – I could not have asked for more support and it put my mind at ease that you were so organised. And the team on the day, Alex & Gabriel, were nothing short of outstanding; They arrived at 7.58am, were very organised, but also very quick and very courteous and good-humoured. It is obviously a stressful thing, making a big move in one go, by myself but I could be calm and felt I could leave them to it as they were clearly very experienced. They also made excellent time from Cardiff to my new home and got everything there completely safely without a single breakage. - My bed has also been put back together far better than how I built it by myself! I cannot thank Bolt Removals enough and would recommend them to anyone making a move involving South Wales as departure or destination.

As the title of the review suggests, I was totally 'blown away' by the service that Bolt Removal Ltd. provided from start to finish. Yes, they are not the cheapest out there but, to quote an over-used phrase, "You get what you pay for". After numerous delays in the conveyancing, in the end I (and therefore Bolt Removals) was only given two days notice until completion! This didn't seem to phase Julian at Bolt Removals in the slightest (shame I can't say the same about myself!). On the day itself, the three guys turned up promptly and it appeared that nothing was too much trouble for them from start to finish. Everything was completed with cheerfulness and good humour (despite two flights of stairs in the new property!). They certainly went 'above and beyond' my expectations - one guy even supported the weight of my backpack as I was walking with it! When I couldn't find my handbag they showed real concern and helped me to unpack my car in an effort to find it (thankfully I have now been safely reunited with it)! All in all, the guys made a very stressful day more manageable than I was expecting. I will be recommending Bolt Removals to anyone and everyone!

Bolt removals provided a competitive quote for the level of service within a day of a virtual tour of the flat. Their terms and processes were fair on paper, and the pertinent ones explained simply (by Alex) during the tour. The movers were punctual and friendly, and complete the job (including large rained-soaked large potted plants). I would use them again.

Bolt are fantastic – I can't recommend them enough. They were efficient and friendly on first contact, and the video survey was easy to carry out. The quote was reasonable and clear, with a really helpful breakdown of optional extras – all priced separately – so we could customise exactly what we wanted. Three completion dates fell through, and we had to update our requirements each time (based on how much time we would have to pack and how much additional help we would need). Each time, Bolt prepared an updated quote within the hour, and remained patient and friendly despite our repeatedly messing them around! We needed some help with packing, and the service was excellent: everything was carefully wrapped and the boxes were packed logically and labelled clearly so we could find everything at the other end. I also really liked that they use reusable plastic crates (which they collect again afterwards) rather than disposable cardboard boxes. On moving day itself, the three removals men were friendly, careful and efficient – they had everything packed up in good time and the unpacking at the new house was quicker than expected. They paid attention to the box labelling and made sensible decisions about where to put things, which we really appreciated. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend Bolt.

A move from one house to another is always stressful. But from a large house to a smaller one! The guys from BOLT made it a lot less pressurised. Quick, efficient and pleasant. When completed the first stage - and in record time - all down to the new smaller house!! It all miraculously went in and they were happy to carry things to the right place in the new house, even having input as to where things would best be placed in the room 😂. Would definitely recommend BOLT and would definitely use them if we ever need anything transported elsewhere. Also quite easy on the eye for us ladies 😉

We employed Bolt as their initial contact was both friendly and thorough in their approach to assessing their needs. The initial quote broke down what was included and the pricing which was really useful in understanding their service. During the initial contact they also explained in great detail how they were going to work, including times and how they will protect our items. On the moving day, the two removal people came in and worked diligently and quickly. I can’t commend their patience anymore as we did have to wait for money transfer to happen. They were polite and friendly. I could not recommend Bolt’s services anymore than I already have.

Quite simply money well spent. Getting a quote was quick and easy, while the removals team were excellent. Polite and speedy, took great care of our stuff. I highly recommend this company. The owner Julian was really friendly and helpful whenever I spoke to him, and flexible as our completion date was only agreed at the last minute. The cost was very competitive, and although I did receive a lower quote elsewhere they were happy to match it. The men on the day worked really hard, it was a long day as although we had completed by 2pm, the estate agents did not bring the keys to our new house until 6pm! However, the removal men were calm and patient throughout, which made all the difference in an otherwise very stressful situation.

We needed to move all our stuff into storage for 2 weeks then on to a new house. From start to finish Bolt were professional and helpful. The quote was via a video call which was a sensible way to do it. It was the packing up that was most impressive though. They came the day before to pack most things up and were incredibly respectful, polite and friendly. They took care to ask about things we hadn't thought about such as kids toys we needed etc. Storage was good value, they didn't take advantage of our situation like some of the prices others wanted to charge. Moving back in then likewise we had the same experience.

What a marvellous company to engage with for house moves. We have spent 43 years moving around with HM Forces, and wish Bolt Removals had been available. We have moved from Wales to East Yorkshire. From the WhatsApp video fir assessment to the removal team arriving ti wrap and pack,the lads were top notch. Careful packing, bubblewrapped, paper wrapped, boxes sealed and on the waggons, the guys were professional, friendly, helpful, cheerful and so good at their job. The unload was slick, boxes put in rooms as labeled. On unpack, not a thing chipped or damaged. All of this made it the best move and eased the stress levels for us. Incredible value and worth every penny. Will gladly recommend Bolt Removals to anyone.

The team arrived and did a brilliant job. Didn't complain when the had to wait for four and a half hours at the other end to offload because the completion took so long. Brilliant, polite, friendly and helpful.

The guys turned up on time with two vans as discussed. Had a quick look around and set to work. They protected the stairs and front door. They were polite, professional, very efficient and damaged nothing. When packed they headed off to get some lunch near our destination while we waited for keys to be released and were ready to unload as soon as we were. They unpacked our stuff quickly and professionally into the rooms we wanted and were on their way. Much cheaper than other quotes too. If we move again I’ll call them first. The Bolt team provided an excellent removal service. They were extremely professional, polite, calm, and very considerate. We had the full packing service which was handled with great care and efficiency. They came with a very experienced team of six workers, so the process was quick too. Areas of the house that were vulnerable to knocks and scrapes during the move, such as stairs, bannisters and doorways, were protected with padding. The Bolt team really helped take the stress out of the situation for us. We are currently in temporary accommodation while waiting for the purchase for our new home to go through, and have placed our furniture and belongings in storage with Bolt. I have full confidence that this second part of the service will be handled perfectly as well.

These guys had been superb from beginning to end. Due to covid we had a video call to have a quote which was extraordinary reasonable. And on the day they arrived early at 8:30am and professionally packed my home into the van. And then the carnage began….When we arrived at our new home we found out the previous owners drove away the keys, and didn’t have a van booked for 1pm and hadn’t packed anything. The guys were amazing and remained calm during the whole process and rallied around even helping to sweep the floor ( as it was a mess) and even assisted in moving the previous owners belongings and mess out of the house. We eventually moved in and the guys stayed for the duration and supported us through a horrific ordeal. Can’t recommend these guys enough. Top notch 🤌

From initial contact to end Bolt Removals were brilliant. They arranged a walk through video quote, which was so much easier than listing everything. We had to rejig a couple of times but he was courteous and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. He even helped us arrange last minute removals for our buyer which stopped the chain from collapsing. On the day they provided an excellent service, making sure that everything was loaded correctly and, again, nothing was too much trouble. I found Bolt Removals through the Which website. After speaking to them via email and phone they promptly sent over a quote, which for our cross country move was much less expensive than other companies. They arrived early to collect and brought ample equipment to do the job promptly and quickly, they were very friendly. They arrived in good time and at around the expected drop off. At the drop off they got everything offloaded quickly with no damage, and got me to check the van to ensure nothing was left behind. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them!

Was recommended Bolt by a friend who had use them for a house move as someone who could help move our business to a new office. Julian was very responsive on emails and had a warm and genuine personality when he came to quote. Though they weren't the cheapest we spoke to, I was confident that our move was in safe hands with Bolt - and I was right. On the day, they sent enough people, turned up on time (early in fact!), treated our stuff gently and worked hard with a smile. Super efficient and nothing too much trouble. Some of our items went to their storage space which is looked after by the very professional Alex and is a much better set up than some other storage facilities we looked at. Overall, to date, I have not been able to find a single fault with Bolt Removals and will recommend them to anyone.

We recently moved from Sussex to Wales and did extensive research on the various removal companies out there. It was easy to find glowing reviews of all these companies but many of the reviewers had reviewed little else. All companies had their fair share of bad reviews except for one, Bolt Removals. The owner Julian was always available when I had any questions that needed answers and they didn't insist on a hefty deposit. The move went very smoothly and despite a 4 hour drive from Cardiff, the team arrived on time to pack our furniture. The team of removal men were polite and very capable and the whole thing went very, very smoothly. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Was moving from one side of Cardiff to the other and got quotes from 6 companies. Julian was on time, very easy to deal with and very helpful when looking at the job. They were very competitively priced but were also very flexible when it came to my requests. Was an easy decision to use them and was totally the correct one. The 8 guys turned up on time, were very pleasant, professional and extremely efficient. They carefully wrapped all the pictures/mirrors/TVs etc and worked as a team in filling 6 trucks! When we got the keys to the new place they were already on-site and moved everything into the house and garden quickly and carefully and didn't hesitate to move things when we changed our mind about best room for something. They left us with a dozen or so wardrobe boxes over the weekend to allow us time to properly unpack and when we were finished they were very prompt at collecting them. Would not hesitate to use them again and based on our experience would recommend to friends and family.

Excellent - the team of 3 that came to move us from London to Wales were courteous, careful and incredibly efficient. The survey for quote was done by video due to covid19 which was convenient and easy, Julian was very helpful and guided us through what needed removing and what we needed. The quote was sent quickly and was very reasonable, any questions we had were answered quickly and the move was arranged easily. On the day the two movers turned up on time, were friendly, helpful, extremely fast but very careful - we were moved with no problems at all. I was amazed they managed to fit everything into one run but they'd previously offered to do another run if needed for only a little more, so we didn't have to worry. Hoping not to move again for a long time but I'd definitely use Bolt again if we did.

This removal company is excellent and very fast. They cleared our house in 3 hours flat and moved our belongings into our new home in the same 3 hours. We did the packing ourselves. I'd like to thank everyone at BOLT for supporting us in our office relocation. We were a little indecisive about the amount of furniture and boxes that needed moving (for various reasons) but they were extremely patient and friendly throughout. On the day itself, the guys were very lovely and helpful. Despite being a little chaotic, they just got on with the job.

I can't rate these guys highly enough. A very competitive quote and a friendly and hard working crew. It was very short notice with less than 48 hours from Julian's visit for a survey and quote to Gabriel, Joshua and Moses beginning to load the van. With a move from a second floor flat to a third floor flat - and no lifts - my only regret is that I could only afford to tip them a fraction of what they deserved.

I recently moved from Cardiff to London and chose Bolt Removals to transport my furniture and other possessions. The team were on time and handled everything with care - I couldn't have asked for anything better. I would also recommend Bolt because their prices are very reasonable. They took the time to fully assess what our move required (including a home visit) and gave us a good price. In contrast, some national providers gave us quotes of up to 4 times the amount we paid without considering how much stuff we were actually moving. It's clear that Bolt Removals are an honest business who care about their customers.

This is the second time I have used Bolt Removals. This time they moved me from a first floor maisonette to a third floor flat so they really earned their money. The three man team worked quickly and efficiently with good humour even when being harangued by the care taker at my new place. All went really well, great communication and information before hand. The guys arrived early and moved everything effectively and carefully.

Moving day can be quite stressful of course - but these guys did their best not to add to that and probably went beyond the call of duty in terms of loading and unloading all our loose stuff - we opted to pack ourselves as it allows for a lot of sifting out junk. The beds and wardrobes were (where relevant) dismantled and reassembled without our even noticing - and the price of doing so was very reasonable. These guys aren't the cheapest - but they price fairly and don't add on extras on the day. They are certainly nowhere near the cost of the high price-bracket guys - yet they provide just as good a service in my opinion. There was a little bit of confusion over whether I had asked / paid for whatever it took to get the treadmill into its new home - and as a result I've had to do this myself after the event - but that's probably best as it requires a degree of specialist knowledge. They were friendly and courteous without being over familiar. Respectful of us and our property. I suppose the real test is, given what I know now and the five other companies that I received quotes from, would I use them again? The answer is a definite yes. Recently moved within Cardiff and was delighted with the excellent service I received from beginning to end. Bolt removals did a fantastic job helping us to move house. They arrived on time. Packed up our house with amazing speed. Dismantled furniture and had everything loaded up on time. We moved from Carmarthen to Cardiff with very little notice. Julian was the only person I spoke to who made the move sound simple - other companies I felt kept putting obstacles in the way. Julian responded within half an hour to any email I sent him and provided quotations and receipts promptly. On the day Adrian and his team arrived on time and efficiently loaded each room's contents into the van. This included expertly moving a sofa bed we were unsure would fit down the tight stairs and which was very heavy. They had packed up within 1 hour! At the other side, the team carefully unloaded each item and made sure to put down protective rugs to protect the flooring. They were kind and friendly and made us feel at ease, even having a little joke with us. Bolt removals were by far the most competitive price we were quoted and represent absolute value for money. From initial call and visit to provide a quote to the end of the process (moving day), Bolt were professional and polite at all steps. Quote was reasonable (towards the cheaper end of several companies we had quoted for the job) and broken down into various options / services available so we could chose what level of service we required. Moving day was organised well with vans and men arriving on time and working at top speed until our house was empty - the guys were helpful and polite and offered advice when asked (what to take, what to leave, how to pack TVs etc.) Bolt don't charge waiting time which is good as the chain was stalled for a few hours and our vans were left waiting outside our new house - but we weren't charged extra. Unloading was just as quick and efficient as the loading had been with the removal guys happy to take everything where asked - and to correct our mistakes when we asked for kitchen boxes to be put in bedrooms etc.! Bolt were great value, had no hidden extras or charges and all our goods were moved quickly and with no damage at all.
