Anthony came to our house to give us advice on an issue with lost pressure on our boiler. He gave us clear and straight forward advice about the problem and options to fix it. He's knowledgeable, friendly and polite. We'll be using him going forward for plumbing support and have no hesitation in recommending him to friends in the neighbourhood.

We found Anthony through "Which" to investigate and fix our gas leak and temporary stop the megaflow from leaking. Anthony came on time and fixed the gas leak, he was very effecient and ensured all the floorboards that he had to take off was fixed back and said he would be back to fix the megaflow leak once we had the part.

Came when he said he would to fix bathroom taps that had no water coming out. Job took about 25 min and I was charged his callout fee of £55 which seemed reasonable. Also gave some advice on our CH system as well. Overall friendly & helpful and would definitely use again.

I received excellent service from Tony when I had to have some pipework done so that my gas could be turned back on again. A Vaillant engineer was 'fixing' a water leak in my boiler when he noticed a problem with the gas pipe and immediately switched off the gas. No heating, no hot water, no cooking, nobody to turn to. In a panic I turned to Which Local and saw the recommendations for Tony and I can say they are all spot on. He couldn't make it on the day but turned up at 07:30 the next morning, changed the pipe and turned on the gas. No fuss, no time wasting, no mess, he had all the tools and was very friendly. I also thought he was good value for what he charged. I would thoroughly recommend him.

My tenant reported that the bathroom toilet was broken and leaking into the floor in early December. My letting agent sent their plumber around and he did a fix that did not resolve the problem. I then called in British Gas / Dynorod who did a similarly poor repair. Neither advised me of the full extent of the damage, which had permeated the floorboards by this time. With Christmas fast approaching and an increasingly agitated tenant I found Tony's details on Which Local. Once we established contact with the tenant Tony went to look at the problem and prepared a written quote within 24 hours to replace the loo, check the floorboards and replace the lino. Once I gave the go-ahead Tony arranged to carry out the repairs at the tenant's convenience and completed the work in good time for the Christmas break. I particularly liked the fact that Tony called when he said he would, kept me in the loop as the job progressed and completed the job on-time and within his quoted price. I will be calling Tony again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend his work.

Tony Bourne recently replaced our 25 year old CH boiler. He and his colleague arrived punctually and worked almost non-stop until 7.0p.m. the first day and completed the job the following day, including force flushing the system, installing new thermostat, thermionic valve, new header tank etc. The work was carried out with the minimum of disruption aad everything left clean & tidy afterwards. A nice touch was the loan of a pair of electric radiators, delivered the day the boiler failed. We found him under "Plumbers" but I feel he should also be listed here. Highly Recommended.
