My name is Anthony and I have been running Bourne Plumbing & Heating a family run business, for over 27 years. I offer a wide range of services, from full bathroom installations to emergency call-outs. I am also on hand to help out with smaller jobs, such as fixing leaky taps or unblocking drains.

I had urgent repair jobs on two boilers for tenanted flats - I eventually chose Andrew out of several local plumbers and it was an excellent choice, he was very knowledgeable and professional and did the job very well. Other local plumbers did quote slightly lower rates but I think it is a case of you get what you pay for - the others let me down for various reasons and I am happy to have finally found a reliable and professional local firm.

He fixed a leak and blockage in the kitchen within 1.5 hours. Throughout his work, he was very efficient and friendly. He sorted out everything by himself including parking, covering up the floor and cleaning afterwards. He gave me some useful suggestions as well. He quickly responded my initial call and showed up in 2 days on time. I strongly recommend this very professional service.

After a lifetime of leaving all the technical details of maintaining a house to him I now find myself having to take control. I find plenty of assistance on the internet but I do know when to leave a job to a professional. Plumbing work fits this category. Recently water would not stop running down the back of the toilet. I needed a plumber. None of my friends could recommend a plumber. I was terrified of coming up against a 'rougue trader'. Then I found the Which? Local website and chose Bourne Plumbing and Heating because they were near where I live and the reviews sounded good. Anthony came at once, was very courteous and professional and dealt efficiently with my problem, even coming out on a Sunday for his second visit after he had obtained a necessary part.. He was kind enough to offer advice on several other plumbing related issues. For any scared ladies out there needing plumbing work done I can certainly recommend Bourne Plumbing and Heating.

My father found Tony initially. He is a civil engineer and has very high requirements for the standard of work in his home. He used Tony and recommended him to me. I have been using Tony since for plumbing jobs at my flat for about 25 years. I no longer live in Ealing and the flat is rented out. It is very reassuring to know that if the tenants tell me something needs doing, I can know that he will go in and do it to a good standard without my having to come and check the work. I live some distance away and having to check other workmen's efforts means a journey to London. The tenants are always pleased at the promptness of the service, and Tony sends me all the Landlord's certification that I need for my records. It has made renting the flat out so much easier over these years. I don't know what I would have done if I had not known about Tony.

We have had problems with it for a long time and had used Pimlico, but in my opinion the latter have only made piecemeal repairs yet charged us what I feel is a fortune. So we took a chance on Bourne Plumbing, and we're so glad we did. Anthony sorted out the system at a reasonable price and in a timely manner. He gave us sound advice and was very professional throughout, and our heating system now works much more efficiently. He just really knows his stuff and we would definitely call him again.

I used Bourne Plumbing earlier this year - excellent fast response and very polite and helpful. However before any big job, I would check in advance what he charges - especially for spare parts. I was shocked when the invoice came and double checked with a local plumbers' merchants - there had a been a 250% mark up. This was especially galling as one of the jobs had been incorrectly diagnosed and both the labour and expensive spare part did not fix the problem.
