My name is Anthony and I have been running Bourne Plumbing & Heating a family run business, for over 27 years. I offer a wide range of services, from full bathroom installations to emergency call-outs. I am also on hand to help out with smaller jobs, such as fixing leaky taps or unblocking drains.

Answered the call promptly and let me know the work and charges involved clearly. Was on time on the day of work; got on with the work straight away in very neat, organised manner. Was very consicious of leaving the place as neat and clean as possible from the very beginning. Finished the work efficiently in time (though I must say that the work was quite minor) and cleared all tools. Provided some general advice as well. Very very impressed - seemed knowledgable and honest. We'll definitely reccomend his services if at all needed.

Came same day to check leaking radiator and returned following day with new part as promised. Fitted and left rad in good working order. Reasonable rates, pleasant guy and he arrived when he said he would! Will definitely use again.

Tony fixed our toilet cistern. Whilst doing it, he fixed two other problems with the toilet and only charged an extra £10. He made sure that he left the bathroom as clean as it was when he arrived. Overall an excellent job and we're going to have him back to install a new kitchen sink tap.

I recently found this plumber through Which local and was very pleased with his curteous and professional approach. He solved several minor plumbing problems with no trouble and left the areas clean and tidy. In terms of value for money I do not know what the 'going rate' for these jobs is, but am sure it was worth the charge in terms of confidence inthe tasks having been done properly. He gave me good advice and has left me able to turn off independent areas of my plumbing for future convenience. I would thoroughly recommend his work.

I selected Tony from the Which Local list as our toilet was blocked. I was very pleased when he arrived in about 10 minutes, and cleared the blockage in less than half an hour. He may not be the cheapest plumber around (I'm not up to date on their rates) but he was pleasant and professional and I'd use him again - I've also recommended him to friends.

Tony Bourne recently replaced our 25 year old CH boiler. He and his colleague arrived punctually and worked almost non-stop until 7.0p.m. the first day and completed the job the following day, including force flushing the system, installing new thermostat, thermionic valve, new header tank etc. The work was carried out with the minimum of disruption aad everything left clean & tidy afterwards. A nice touch was the loan of a pair of electric radiators, delivered the day the boiler failed. We found him under "Plumbers" but I feel he should also be listed here. Highly Recommended.

Tony was very efficient at replacing the sink waste and making alterations to secure the kitchen mixer tap. He didn't replace an outside tas as requested because I thought it was broken, but instead tightened it which did the job. I would definitely call him again.

Called Tony late afternoon - he was able to come round that evening which suited my availability. He was punctual and got the job done quickly and efficiently (a leaking tap). He explained what he was doing and alerted us to the fact that because of the design of the tap the same problem was likely to happen again. Would use him again and have recommended him to friends.

Extremely helpful and competent plumber - put right several seized up stopcocks, replacing them with efficient modern fixtures. Also cut out and replaced a leaking length of piping. Cleared up nicely afterwards too. Seemed a little expensive - but I have no benchmark for what plumbers cost these days. Well worth it for the peace of mind of a job well done.

He was recommend by a friend, and although the jobs were outside of his usual working area he was happy to travel. I have several properties so have had a fair bit of work for him including the installation of a new gas boiler, repairs to shower and bath taps plus servicing of boilers and other gas units including fires. I have always found his work of a high standard, he clears up afterwards and arrives when you expect him to. Highly recommended

Tony repaired a section of soilpipe that was leaking onto our flat roof. While he was here, we also asked him to remove an old fluepipe from the wall above the flat roof and to replace a leaking garden tap with a new one. Tony was very professional and a pleasure to deal with. He carried out the work quickly and effectively, implementing a better solution for the soilpipe than had been in place previously. We would happily use his services again.

He has done quite a lot of work for me - put in a new boiler, cleaned out the central heating system, put a new valve on radiator in the bathroom. Very satisfactorily. He turns up on time. I've been using him for at least fifteen years.
