Anthony is obviously busy and popular - which is in itself a recommendation. Initially this meant we struggled to find a time he could spare. However, he then went out of his way to fit in a visit. This was simply replacing very old kitchen taps - but he also helpfully upgraded the fitting to add values to the undersink fitting to enable better control in the future. While he was here I asked if he could assist with another small job (broken toilet handle) which he was willing to do. Anthony was friendly and respectful throughout the visit.

Our hot water failed on Wednesday evening. A call to Anthony at 8am and he was with us by 930 (on time as he quoted) and the issue was fixed within the hour. Fast and efficient. And a lovely guy as well.

We asked Bourne plumbing to fix a broken exterior waste pipe. The job was completed quickly and efficiently.

Anthony did a great job! (I initially had a "Plumber" come around and misidentify an issue, fail to identify and fix the actually issue and then giving me enough "lingo" to convince me I needed a new boiler. They then came around installed the boiler very poorly and tried to steal parts I had paid for, leaving the boiler not installed correctly and in a way that was going to cause damage and be potentially dangerous if not fixed). Luckily, I found Anthony who was able to come around and check the install and identify issues that had to be addressed, he was very professional and handed me his business card initially which was reassuring and showed a great standard for business practices. He then come around and fixed the issues making the boiler safe. The install work he did was great, he added safety and control features not previously present and the pipework looked great. Anthony was very straight forward and clearly knows his craft. I would recommend Anthony to anyone that needs plumbing work. Having someone you can trust to do identify and carry out the needed work in your home and to do a great job is a huge relief. Thank you again.

Anthiny service and repaired our Viessmann boiler today. The work was clean, he was friendly and knowledgeable. What more could you want?

I found Tony from Bourne Plumbing on Trusted Traders and have been extremely satisfied with the level of service we have received from him. Tony has carried out a lot of work for us, including replacing boiler parts, re-piping our entire downstairs, radiator installation and general support and advice throughout our building work. Tony is easy to get hold of (in case of emergencies) and is extremely trustworthy - we are so pleased we've found a trusted local plumber who quotes transparently and goes over and above to provide help and support.

At 7pm on 10th August whilst adult daughter was showering in the bathroom the bath shower head water suddenly exploded all over the bathroom. It was very frightening and we couldn’t think what to do at first but did turn off water supply and I rang Bourne Plumbing whom I had used before for help. He came round within 30 minutes and assessed the problem. We would need a new shower unit and suggested we get the same make as it had served us well. He would order it and he could be available next Tuesday if it arrived on time and in fact, it was Wednesday 18th August and a new shower was up and running satisfactorily. No effort on my part and a new system was installed in a week.

I've used Bourne Plumbing and Heating twice now. The first time was to install new radiators in my house and service my old boiler, and the second time to replace a faulty valve in the heating system. Anthony was clear when he came over to quote, explaining what was needed and why, and being understanding of our future plans for our home and what work we could defer. The quotes were received quickly, and it was easy to book in. The work itself was carried out to a high standard, it's clear that Anthony takes pride in the standard of his work. He's also been very prompt and professional in replying to emails. We've been very happy with the work and will use his services again when we need to. I'd have no hesitation in recommending him.

The job was to replace an old electric shower unit that had ceased working. Anthony arrived promptly, listened to my requirements, evaluated the job and sent through an estimate, which I accepted. When the item had been delivered he fitted it neatly to match the marks left by its predecessor. When fitting it he discovered a problem with my stopcock, which he worked around, and also problems with the existing pipework, which he remedied. He explained everything very clearly and efficiently, and he listened to my concerns and requirements, which has not always been my experience with other traders. He also spotted a potential problem with the electrics, which was outside his purview, and gave me the details of two possible electricians.

We planned to travel to Ealing to prepare for a new tenant and needed a known problem to be resolved during our 4 day visit. Our previous plumber suddenly declared himself unavailable so we had to find a replacement urgently. We found Anthony of Bourne Plumbing via Which. He turned up as agreed, (an hour after we arrived from Wales) and changed the valve and sorted another issue at the boiler water supply. His work was very professional taking every precaution to avoid any water reaching the carpet etc. After he left, we found another problem in the bathroom so he came back the next morning, had to get a part and fixed that problem too. We were so relieved to have found someone this good so quickly and as we live 160 miles away we will have no hesitation in using his services even without being there to supervise. Anthony is a very personable chap, easy to get on with and we will also recommend him to our previous neighbours in Ealing who also used our previous plumber.

I found Anthony on Which? Trusted Traders and contacted him in relation to a leak in our toilet, but was disappointed in the services I received. It took him over a month to repair the leak after his initial visit. During this period, I had to chase several times for updates, with many unreturned phones calls and e-mails. The quality of the work (when I eventually managed to get an appointment) was good, and he left the work area clean, but it’s simply not worth the hassle. Unfortunately, I will not be using his services in the future, and I would not recommend him to anyone.

I decided not to mess about when getting my boiler, radiators, hot water tank and other associated kit replaced but, instead, to use a Which Trusted Trader - so glad that I did. Anthony did everything in a timely, helpful and thorough manner, even coming out to sort out a minor problem with the water tank afterwards for no additional charge. Everything was completed on schedule, the house was left tidy and he provided a full folder of reference information - very impressive. Anthony only uses Viessmann boilers, which I believe are also recommended by Which? I know nothing about plumbing but the kit all looks great and the water is always nice and hot now. Definitely recommended.

I started using Bourne Plumbing (recommended by a friend of a friend) when we needed someone to take out a bath and put in a shower (my husband had recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer), he came when he said he would, gave me a sensible quote and completed the job in a timely fashion and the pipework was amazing, so neatly done - the attention to detail incredible. We then used him again to create a downstairs toilet and utility room, entailing a new water main and connection - again all done incredibly tidily and efficiently. Our old boiler then broke down so we used Tony to install (and re-position) a new Viessmann Boiler - again all done very efficiently and with little disruption. Lastly we had a new kitchen fitted and we used Tony to carry out all the necessary plumbing. He is a pleasure to have in the house and we would not hesitate to recommend him.

The work was carried out to schedule over two separate weeks while we were away. On both occasions when returning from holiday the areas where work was carried out were immaculate. When unanticipated scaffolding was required, we were contacted and of course, agreed the additional cost. An extensive clearly explained estimate was given at the beginning and the work was carried out to the highest standards. In follow-up, care was taken to ensure that the operation of the new Viessman system was fully understood. Aftercare was discussed and agreed. We were very pleased with the work and would have no hesitation in recommending Bourne - in fact, have already passed on details to friends.

My toilet flush push button broke. I had a look and it's just not something I could fix myself as many parts needed removing / replacing in the cistern. I contacted 5 local plumbers and only Anthony from Bourne came back He came at the agreed time, went out of his way to find spare parts and fixed it. He also suggested to install stop valves to the water tanks, to avoid having to flush the whole tank next time round … Really happy with the service and will definitely use Bourne again and can recommend them.

I called Anthony for the first time. He helped to replaced our Magaflo unvented hot water cylinder. He provided a professional neat service and definitely switch to him for annual boiler/central heating servicing and other plumbing works in my house.

We have using Tony's services for around 10 years. Initially servicing an old boiler and calling on him for more larger and more complex jobs as needed. He has replaced our boiler, fitted a new macerating toilet and most recently a water pump to feed two showers. This was a particularly demanding job in a confined space. Together with sundry taps replaced inside and out in the garden over the years, his work is outstanding. He is also an extremely nice chap. What more can you ask. Warmly recommended.

We have used Anthony a few years ago for a modest plumbing emergency and called him this time to ask if he could resolve a juddering tap feed and also change radiator thermostatic valves. He called in later that same day to review the scope /time etc and sent us a costed estimate the following day. He was able to fit us in a couple of days later and did just what was required within the estimated 4 hours. Highly satisfied. We shall probably switch to him for annual boiler/central heating servicing in autumn.

I phoned Anthony having been recommended to him by our regular plumber of many years who has now retired. It was a small but irritating problem with our toilet cistern. The ball valve whined loudly when filling and was slowly leaking all the time. Anthony arranged to come later the same day. He arrived and carried out the job in about half an hour: replacing the ball valve with a much neater looking new one; he also renewed the isolating valve and pipework leading into the cistern which he discovered was faulty. Anthony was very professional and courteous but also friendly and personable. His work was of a very high standard, clean and tidy (he took away all the old debris) and his charges were reasonable in the circumstances. I would recommend Anthony to my friends.

Our kitchen tap had come loose. Another plumber had fixed it, but it came loose again. He tightened it up again. It came loose again. He said it needed a carpenter and sent another estimate. The work required was not easy given the position of the tap and the nature of the kitchen worktops. Essentially it required working under the worktop to cut out some existing wood and replace it with a structure that would hold the tap properly going forward. It would be far better if the problem had been identified from the start. Also why did we have to pay for it not to be fixed and then pay the same company again to do it properly? Therefore we contacted Bourne Plumbing and Heating (strongly recommended from a neighbour). They came when they said they would, identified the problem and spent two hours fixing it. The work was neat and the space left clean. It is four days later. The tap is currently fine and I assume it will continue to be given my neighbour's recommendation. It is a good thing to be able to call in someone and know that a problem will be fixed properly. On ratings below: service I am confident on. Quality: I can't see the work and four days in I have no idea how to tell. The previous 'fix' was fine for a month. However my neighbour is very pernickety and is very pleased so I am happy going along with that. Value: I am no expert, but the price seemed reasonable and frankly I am quite happy to pay well for a job well done.

Work done: Tony came to inspect a leaking kitchen tap and advised us to order a new fitting. He also checked the bathroom pump was working properly. He then came back and fitted the new tap. General comments: Tony is very much in demand but always answered phone calls and came exactly when he said he would, so was very reliable, which we really appreciated. Tony was very helpful, professional and pleasant to deal with and we were confident the work would be done to a good standard. Tony was a recommendation from a friend and I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Emergency work on failed boiler, and installing new Viessmann boiler. Anthony Sawczuk was always efficient and polite and appeared to take an enormous amount of care and pride in his workmanship. In answer to the questions below I have no real ability to judge quality or value.

I found Anthony on Which? Trusted Trader, and have been using him for a couple of years for all my plumbing requirements at a property I rent out in London (I Live 250 miles away in Wales). Anthony has always provided a professional service. I have just and the heating system upgraded and Anthony has installed a new Viessmann boiler and conducted a power flush to Finish – everything is working and looks neat, all paperwork – registration for guarantee was dealt with by Anthony. I have no reservations in recommending this heating engineer – if any work is required, I contact him by phone or text and he does the rest – I have never met the man personally so can’t describe what he looks like, but I would still recommend him. Live in Cornwall but required new Viessmann boiler for flat in London. Found Anthony through a third party and job completed by remote control(due to Covid) Guessed from the estimate that he knew exactly what he was doing and proved reliable and delivered on time.

This is the second time we have used Anthony's services and would definitely use him again. He mended our broken water tank and replaced a new pump. The work was done quickly, efficiently and at a reasonable price. Would recommend.

Our boiler was flooded inside and Mr. Sawczuk quickly attended to it, installing a new boiler and filters. Later a power flush was done to the central heating system. The quotation paperwork was detailed and full. He left a folder for us with all the information about our new equipment and its aftercare, and went through the controls with us. Bourne Plumbing was recommended by a friend as my own plumber was not working due to Covid. Anthony Sawczuk visited twice. Initially managed to get boiler functioning but it failed the next morning. When contacted, he ordered the correct part and visited the following day and fitted. The boiler has worked ever since. The work was carried out to a professional standard. We were kept informed and were relieved Anthony maintained social distance, wore a mask and gloves and carried out the work efficiently with a high degree of cleanliness.

We had an old boiler replaced with a new Viessmann boiler. Work was carried out promptly and Anthony went out of his way to order and fit the new boiler in double quick time so we were only without heating for a couple of days. I am happy to recommend this company as Anthony is straightforward and trustworthy, and the work is carried out efficiently. The kitchen was left clean & tidy. Five stars.

It was not the first time Anthony has come to our rescue, as amongst other tasks he's been asked to fix, he came to stop a leak in the loft. He is a plumber much in demand! As for the Viessmann boiler, he submitted a detailed schedule of the work that needed to be done to install the new boiler and the quote was well detailed with the work that would be involved. He is a very neat and tidy workman. He left the place immaculate each time he left for the day. Much of his time was spent unloading, and at the end of the day, reloading his very superior-looking van. He also found time to bring things downstairs, change a lightbulb and generally do the odd job he found to do. A thoroughly nice person and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

We used Anthony after our neighbour recommended him. He was great. We had a leak coming through our kitchen ceiling and couldn’t figure out the source. Anthony visited twice, and after we figured out it was our bathroom tap leaking, he found the problem and fixed it straightaway which included going out to choose a suitable replacement tap. Tidied up after too. Tap is great and leak has stopped. He was very conscious of covid precautions too, was happy to wear shoe covers in the house and charged a fair price too. Would definitely use for all our future plumber needs.

Tony replaced our old gas boiler and installed a new Veissmann Boiler and pumps, we are delighted with the performance. He also replaced the old pipe work to our hot water tank, replaced all the radiator valves and refurbished our expansion tank fittings. He completed a total power flush of our system. Tony was extremely professional, explained the process and the features of all the fittings, he did not stop working until he was 100% satisfied with the installation, he left minimum disruption over night. He always arrived at the agreed times. He was extremely clean using mats and sheets to minimise dirt and rubble in our house. He provided a fast and efficient service. The central heating system and the hot water system have now been operating for 10 days, very hot and silent, we are very pleased. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Tony and Bourne Plumbing, and will certainly use him for all my future maintenance work.

Over the last three weeks, Anthony Sawczuk has repaired a leaking water pipe, replaced and upgraded the valves and controls for our hot water and central heating system, cleaned out the expansion tank, replaced a radiator and carried out a power flush of our central heating system. In all this work, we have found that Anthony is careful, considerate, thorough and efficient. He spends as long as is needed to complete the job so that we have never felt we were being rushed. He uses dust sheets to protect floor coverings and cleans up everything afterwards. In addition, Anthony has been very punctual, always arriving at the agreed time. He took great care to explain what needed doing and how he was going to carry out the work and replied promptly to all our e-mails. He provided written estimates and kept within budget for each aspect of the work that he carried out. We shall be very happy to use Anthony's services again in the future.

Anthony was able to start very quickly to deal with our 20 year old failing boiler. He was very considerate of our need to restore our heating system quickly and worked very hard to clear blocked pipes and restore function to radiators that had not worked properly for some time. This required a number of replacement parts and considerable unforeseeable extra work. I was kept advised of all the additional work required and approved all extra items when it was clear that they were needed. Although additional cost was incurred I believe that I received very good value for my money. I am now enjoying a warm house from a far more sophisticated system which will be self cleaning and regulating - very welcome with colder weather on the way. I have asked Anthony to provide the annual service of the Viessmann Boiler.

I was recommended Bourne by a neighbour because of the quality service, Bourne did not disappoint. Anthony was punctual, polite and provided a great service. He was able to fix my problem in a short space of time and advise me on some other work that I was looking at doing, he clearly has a great knowledge of his trade. After a poor installation of our previous boiler 11 years ago and a sub-standard annual service contract, both from British Gas, we used Bourne Plumbing & Heating for the first time to replace our gas boiler & upgrade our system to meet current standards. On Anthony’s recommendation we chose a Viessmann Vitodens 100-W compact condensing boiler. A power flush to the system was required. We were surprised at the amount of debris & sludge that had accumulated in our system. Anthony’s work exceeded all our expectations. He is extremely professional and takes the time to explain clearly all stages of the job. He is punctual, courteous, clean & tidy. The price was excellent value. We have no hesitation in recommending him (indeed, we have already done so twice, since he completed our job). We will definitely use him again.

Anthony and a couple of helpers replaced the worn-out boiler and adjusted & reset & improved the existing Central Heating System in the very short agreed time and for the agreed price, completing it on 5/08/20. He did some minor adjustments later and we are extremely well satisfied with him and his work. Anthony fitted a new Viessmann boiler. We also had a full power flush which was badly needed as our radiators are over 25 years old. This was done two weeks after the original work of installing the boiler and treating the radiators. As he worked other problems came to light and options were discussed and agreed. He repaired the outside brickwork to a high standard and cleared up after each days work. Anthony was professional and explained what he was doing in an easy way for us to understand. He keeps up to date with new ideas and advances in his profession.
