A toilet cistern had sprung a leak from its water input. We had turned off its supply and drained it, so we were not an emergency, but Anthony came the same day, and did an excellent job. Previous work by a plumber we will not name had left the cistern with a very slow leak (from a different place) despite much tightening, necessitating keeping a drip tray in place. Anthony removed the cistern, replaced all the innards, which were found to have been incorrectly sealed and were spoilt, and fitted a new supply feeder pipe and tap; he clearly keeps a stock of routine parts in his van. We now have a cistern which is drip-free and works better than before. He was totally professional, showed us clearly why the replacement parts were needed, left no mess, and inspired confidence. His bill came to just under what we had expected. I hope we don't need a plumber again soon, but when we do he will be the first we approach.

Anthony replaced toilet cistern for me which was enclosed in a vanity unit and difficult to access. He carefully explained the options to me and introduced a carpenter to make good the unit after he had to dismantle part of it. He worked quickly and tidily and the result was better than the original.

I enlisted the help of Tony Bourne to deal with a leaking pipe in my bathroom. Despite huge demand on his time from other assignments, Tony came within an hour to deal with the problem. As usual, he carried out the work to my complete satisfaction. Mercifully, I have not had to call upon his services frequently but he has always responded quickly and effectively. Showed up exactly when he said he would to fix an on-going problem with plumbing in the kitchen. Diagnosed the problem immediately (the original plumbing was a mess of pipes going in all directions), had the spares in his van, and sorted it out to an excellent standard for a reasonable price. We had a damp patch in the concrete floor of our cloakroom. Anthony neatly dug out the floor and exposed the piping, and after discussing our options with us, he capped off the faulty piping. The work was completed quickly and without any mess. We would recommend him!

I have used Anthony on many occasions in the past (he re-fitted my bathroom last year) and, when my old central heating system ceased to function in February, I contacted him again for his assistance. His service is always prompt, reliable and highly efficient. He explained to me what he was going to do before commencing the work and provided an acceptable estimate. Eminently trustworthy, he completed the work whilst I was away from my flat and met me when I had returned to explain the Viessmann central heating system to me in detail. He always leaves my flat clean and tidy after the work has been completed. The job proved to be a particular complicated task since the rust under the old tap made it impossible to extract without risk of damage to the black kitchen sink. The plumber (Anthony Sawczuk) was able to complete the task with little obvious damage. He was utterly professional, explaining the options quite clearly once he had inspected the work to be done. He is punctual, polite and we would recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, highly competent plumber.

I asked Bourne Plumbing to service my 45-year old heating boiler. On starting the job a fault was identified which could not be rectified as the faulty part was now obsolete. Anthony advised that continued use of the boiler was dangerous. He therefore fitted a new boiler with the minimum of delay after I had accepted his very detailed estimate I was greatly impressed with Anthony's approach to the work. Clearly an expert, he was thorough, quick, clean and willingly answered my queries which arose during the course of the project. All the work detailed in the estimate was carried out punctiliously: and an unexpected emergency that arose was handled with impressive aplomb. Anthony is very professional in his work and does an excellent job. I would certainly use his services again.

I have used Anthony before and he has always done excellent work and been helpful and prompt in his response. On Sunday I found that my boiler was leaking and so I called Anthony and he came promptly the next morning. He identified the problem which was a leak in the plastic diverter valve, ordered the replacement part and then fitted it the next morning. He also provided good advice on using the boiler in the short interim between his ordering the valve and fitting it and on ensuring that the water pressure level was not too high. He is always helpful and polite and takes pride in his work. I always feel confident that he will provide me with a highly professional service and he also responds quickly to calls and understands the importance of clear and regular communication.

I found Anthony through the reviews on Which. I was having problems with my existing boiler which had been fitted some 14 years ago. He responded promptly to my request for a visit, after inspection it was clear the boiler needed to be replaced and suggested a Viessmann boiler. The replacement process went smoothly; the work was carried out in an efficient and professional manner. Very pleased with the outcome the boiler seems very efficient a great job. Highly recommended.

Maybe you know that sinking feeling when you think the old boiler won't last another winter and you just dread the thought of all the upheaval of getting a new one. This had been the worry for us for a few years until we experienced the first-rate work of Bourne Plumbing. Probably the best plumber we've ever used in terms of quality of work. Great care was taken with the elements and quality of the installation and we were consulted on every step and then trained at the end. Of course, such quality takes longer and so this is not the cheapest service. But it's well worth it. We were advised to install a Viessmann boiler which so far, works perfectly.

I needed removal of totally coroded waste disposal which stopped working, not replacing it, and turning the sink into functional sink. Anthony Sawczuk performed the job efficiently, quickly and very well. The kitchen remained clean, there was no water anywhere and the sink functions well with a new plug which was provided by him. He worked for about an hour and a half - seemed to me very efficient. The cost was reasonable. Would use him again and recommend him.

I discovered a gas leak one evening at 6pm and my gas supply had to be shut off, leaving me without heating or hot water. Bourne Plumbing and Heating was recommended to me. I rang and got Tony, who to my great relief, was able to come first thing the next morning. He gave me advice about the necessary repair, but for my own peace of mind, I asked him to install a new gas supply pipe from meter to boiler. Tony had all the necessary materials on the van and completed the work within a few hours. He was fast, efficient, clean and tidy in my home. He explained what he was doing and why, reassuring me all safety checks had been done. I have no hesitation in recommending Bourne Plumbing and Heating.

A routine gas safety inspection turned up a slow gas leak and the gas supply was capped, leaving me without heating and hot water. I rang Anthony Sawczuk at Bourne and explained the situation. My boiler stopped working on one of the coldest days this year and I found Bourne Plumbing & Heating on Which Trusted Trader site. I telephoned at 8.30 am and Anthony came to inspect my 14 year old system at 9am and we discussed repairing or replacing. He promised to deliver a quote by the evening. Since I had no other means of heating he offered to purchase heaters of my choice and they arrived within the hour. A quote arrived that evening and I accepted next day and 2 working days later Anthony arrived with a Viessmann Vitodens 100 boiler, a Magna-Clean filtration unit and 12 thermostatic radiator valves plus dust sheets and a hoover. The work took 3 days plus a 1-day Power Flush during the next l4 days. There were no unforeseen extras and the work was carried out in a most efficient and professional manner and I would not hesitate to recommend Anthony.

Anthony and his team were marvellous, put to rights an elderly ladies heating etc which 2 sets of so called plumbers had wreaked ! 10 out of 10 ! I own a care agency and will now be only using him for repairs in my Clients houses ! Replacement of faulty parts on an unvented hot water cylinder, replacing expansion vessel incorrectly installed on pipe work, combination inlet valve and TPRV. Removed existing incorrect 22mm gate valve on mains water supply to unit as it did not shut off fully. Cut out sections of pipe work and recorrect as necessary. Supplied and fitted a 22mm Adey Pro2 magnaClean unit, SpiroVent RV2 and SpiroTop unit to central heating system pipe work as recommended. Repairs to towel rail and kitchen sink tap

Contacted Bourne Plumbing in the lead-up to Christmas (was recommended to me by a work colleague who also lives in Wembley) with three issues concerning a bathroom tap, bedroom radiator and attic overflow which was overflowing! Anthony was upfront and honest, couldn’t get over for at least a few days due to volume of work and we agreed a date. He arrived on the day with all the necessary tools/parts.
