I am happy to add my recommendation to those already posted here. I had a problem with my central heating - cold radiators despite the boiler and pump appearing to work properly. This issue baffled Putney Plumbers and Swale Heating both of which made multiple visits with at least 7 different plumbers all of whom failed to fix the problem despite two changes of pump and a power flush. I contacted Anthony of Bourne Heating whose name I got from Which Trusted Traders. He recommended reconfiguration of the pipework around the pump and hot water cylinder and immediately discovered a complete blockage in one of the pipes. The pump had been trying to force water through a blocked pipe - thats why they were wearing out and having to be replaced. Once Anthony had fitted new pipework and a new pump the central heating was as good as new. He returned a fortnight later to do a proper power flush the earlier one by Putney Plumbers did nothing at all. He also did a couple of other plumbing jobs while he was here - new outside tap and replacement ballcock on cold tank. The bill for all this work was close to 2000 but this was proportionate to the materials used and time taken. I had previously paid out similar amounts for work which failed to solve the problem. I would be happy to use Anthony again and recommend him highly.

My toilet was leaking and needed to be completely removed from the wall to fix. Anthony did an excellent job of removing it, fixing the leak and fitting it back into position securely. This was a big job that took several hours. I'm very happy with his work and he left everything clean when he left. I'm happy to recommend Bourne Plumbing and Heating to everyone. Had an emergency when kitchen pipe started leaking into flat below. Water pipe was found to be embedded in concrete. Bourne Plumbing dealt with this quickly and efficiently. Subsequently had new kitchen installed and Bourne Plumbing completed all the pipework. Company is reliable and do an excellent job.

A complete central heating system. There was no central heating in the house before. Anthony was a superb workman, he was clean and tidy and always aware of my needs while living in the house while floorboards were up and rooms disrupted. I had complete confidence in leaving him in my house if I had to go out.

Replacement of Hot water/central heating boiler. It was a complex job adapting the old plumbing for the replacement boiler. Bourne Plumbing made an excellent job of the change over and the new equipment fits in well with the general design of the kitchen and is working well

I first came across Mr Sawczuk of Bourne Heating and Plumbing when I bought my house 30 years ago. He carried out major re-plumbing of the house and I am pleased to say that his work has stood the test of time. He recently repaired a shower mixer, and a faulty toilet cistern and upgraded several gate vales and stop cocks. He arrived when he said he would, and did the work in a day. Anthony serviced our Viessmann boiler. He was able to attend on the same day that we contacted him and was pleasant and efficient in his work (which was also reasonably priced). We would definitely use him again for plumbing or gas work!

1) Bourne Plumbing attended to identify cause of a leak that was causing mains fuses to trip and to remedy it.. Rapidly diagnosed the problem and provided a reliable temporary solution 2) Bourne Plumbing returned subsequently by appointment to replace a leaking motorised valve and various expired accessories of a MegaFlow hot water cylinder. Serviced our existing 10-year-old Worcester-Bosch boiler, but found that it could not be brought within acceptable emission limits without substantial, expensive and ultimately speculative work. Advised boiler replacement with a Viessmann Vitodens 100-W compact 35KW wall-hung boiler and the likely cost, including upgraded de-aeration, filtering and flue systems. Agreed in principle to go ahead, so we were provided promptly with a detailed written quotation, which we accepted. As the existing boiler could not be used safely we relied an an Immersion heater and Bourne Plumbing kindly lent us 5 virtually new fan heaters for the interim. 3) Bourne Plumbing supplied, fitted and commissioned the new boiler and undertook associated works by appointment in our unavoidable absence during a Saturday. We returned to find the house warm again and a very quiet, neat new boiler installed. We subsequently received a ring-binder of information about the new system, various warranties and two invoices, which were in accordance with what we were expecting to pay. 4) We have accepted Bourne Plumbing's suggestion that it should return about a month after the installation of the boiler in order to monitor performance and in particular the cleanliness of the newly-installed Magna-Clean filtration unit. We have great confidence in Bourne Plumbing, which takes the trouble to explain the present situation, the alternative courses of action available to deal with it, the associated likely costs and risks, and which course of action it would recommend.

The work was completed to the highest quality and I am delighted with the result. My central heating boiler broke down and left me without heating and hot water. Because of its age and the general state of the system Anthony recommended fitting a new boiler. He installed the new boiler in a couple of days and restored the heating and hot water, much to my relief, working on his own, all day. Then he came back to powerflush the system and make sure everything was working. He also repaired three of the radiator thermostats which hadn't been working properly. I was pleased that the quote that he had originally given me was not exceeded.
