I was very pleased and impressed with the work that Rowland carried out, particularly as it was not straight forward and involved locating illusive earth connections, lifting floor boards etc. However, all issues were competently dealt with through Roland’s high levels of experience and technical expertise. I will not hesitate to use him again for any electrical work and highly recommend him to other potential clients.

Rowland was commissioned to upgrade the lighting system in my flat. The work on replacing the 22 spotlights was expected to take 2 days but Rowland managed to finish it in one. He was very knowledgeable, efficient and tidy and did not damage the ceiling when extracting the old halogen spotlights and fitting LEDs. Rowland and the team have done various items of work for us over the past year, all to a very high standard. I'm very pleased that I engaged Rowland to sort out the outdoor lighting in my driveway and garden/patio area. When I called him with my initial enquiry, he was very helpful with some initial ideas and made himself available for an exploratory visit and discussion the next day. During his visit, he immediately impressed me with his knowledge and passion for finding the best solution for my needs. Once we agreed on the plans, he promptly sent me a quote for the work, which was a very fair price. He communicated very clearly and proactively regarding his exact arrival times on the agreed days, and completed the work on time, and slightly under budget. I'm really happy with the end result! From start to finish we couldn’t fault Rowland and his team. Rowland was extremely knowledgeable and professional whilst being courteous and friendly. The quote was very detailed, clear and easy to understand - installing new consumer board and testing, new bathroom fan, lights, power to shed and any remedial work. Diana, who handles all the admin, was very friendly and efficient responding instantly to our requests. Rowland, Owen and Joshua carried out the work to a very high standard. The team has an excellent work ethic - nothing was a problem - they completed the work as specified on the quote together with additional fixes, on time. Lovely to have people in who fill you with trust in their abilities and on top of that they cleared up beautifully afterwards! We have no hesitation in recommending them for any electrical work. Excellent and professional at all times. Rowland visited us shortly after we contacted him to survey the garden and the lighting requirements. He suggested a practical and safe way to achieve and expand our objectives to include items we may have discovered we needed after the job was finished. His team arrived on the agreed date and worked solidly to complete the first phase. The second and third phases were similar. Rolwand's interactive materials sheet allowed us to supply some items and to keep track on the overall costs. Highly recommended

I have used Brightlights several times over the last 3 years for various upgrades to the electrics in my house, a neighbour recommended them initially by word of mouth that recommendation was very accurate. Customer service and a very high level of professionalism are core values that come through and the lack of 'tech speak' makes them for me at least a stored number on the mobile.

Helpful, extremely knowledgeable and fairly priced. I won't use anyone else now. You will get sound advice which makes it so much easier. Rowland won't necessarily advise buying the cheapest items but the ones that suit your needs and will last Rowland and his team make an excellent job of installing electrical equipment. Diana is responsible for looking after the office and is also helpful and very friendly. All in all Brightlights make a great team and are welcome in my home anytime!

My experiences with the whole Brightlights Solutions team were first rate. Rowland and Garth are extremely knowledgeable and conscientious in all that they do; as well as very being attentive and responsive. In short the work they did to connect up my outside cabin was faultless and left me very happy. In addition, the efficiency and organisation provided from Diana was also very good.

Roland and Garth have now done quite a few jobs for us on several properties and we cannot fault their work. Communication is fantastic, and both Rowland and Garth are always happy to explain things to me several times until I understand! They are also very patient when plans change. The work is always done to a very high standard. Rowland often has suggestions that are very useful and that I wouldn’t have thought of on my own. For example, fitting a timer switch to our dual fuel towel radiator - has made my life much easier! Diana is absolutely fantastic and taking queries and scheduling works. Just brilliant to be able to get in touch with someone when Rowland might be out on a job. The whole team are lovely people too, and we always enjoy having a chat with them! Rowland did a number of different tasks for me - some of which were quite complex. He did a pre-visit (not charged) and took a lot of time to ensure he understood what I wanted and what would be entailed. He then did everything in one day - great job, well executed, tidy and cleaned up afterward. Friendly but polite and very professional in execution. I have complete confidence in the work he has done - and all for a very reasonable price. Very happy to recommend him to anyone.

Unlike so many traders these days, Rowland responded to my enquiry, arranged to visit, submitted his quote and fixed a date for the work very promptly. His quote was very comprehensive. He took time to explain what needed to be done and the list of items was completed on time and to budget. Both he and Garth were punctual and efficient and everything was most satisfactory, without any fuss. He also has the benefit of having Diana dealing with the phone calls, administration and follow-up, which so many of these guys lack, but which makes the whole exercise more efficient. Would definitely recommend and will contact him again when required.

Roland seamlessly fitted us a new fuse box and 4 spotlights in a bathroom along with the relevant certification. Prompt, hard working, polite and great attention to detail.

Rowland was fantastic from the initial quotation up to the completed works and as a new homeowner, he was very patient and taught me so much about my home to allow me to complete basic electronics work myself. Planning on having Rowland back to complete work in the future when I do more work on my house. Would thoroughly recommend.

As usual, Rowland did an excellent very thorough job. I can’t praise him too highly. He explained everything very clearly so that even a non- tech 86 year old female could understand it. He showed me photos taken on his mobile in the loft. He was also chatty without wasting time. He stayed an extra 15 mins without charging. 100 % satisfied.
