I asked Matt to install and connect to the mains an outdoor siren linked to our Ring alarm system. This was the first time I had used his services having found his contact information via the Which? trusted trader website. I was very impressed. Matt had a great attitude and was very easy to be around. The relevant minor works certificate was emailed to me the following day as promised. A fair price was quoted for a job well done. Would thoroughly recommend.

Contacted Matthew at Brighter Electricals on Friday who visited the property that afternoon, made the electrical connections safe (the u/s extractor was hanging by its wires), the replacement ordered and fitted by Tuesday. The quote was roughly in line with what was expected. It doesn't get better than that. A big thank you for a prompt service. Contact via email is preferable to a phone call from your moderator. A choice would be good.

Came promptly to fix a fault with the lighting system. All that was needed was to tighten a screw in a junction box. Good service however very expensive. Charged £90 per hour when the standard rate for a professional electrician is £60.

We used Brighter Electrical 9 years ago to rewire our previous house in London. Matthew and his team did an excellent job, so he was our natural choice to install a new consumer unit, external wall lights, an external Ring camera and other fittings in our new house. As with our previous experience, Matthew was able to offer helpful advice on the phone and very reasonable pricing. Everything went very smoothly on the day and we are completely satisfied with the work he has done. We would not hesitate to recommend him to friends or call on him again if the need ever arose.

I'd contacted a few electricians who had ghosted me, weeks later my issue wasn't fixed and we had estate agent photos looming. I had two lights in different rooms working intermittently. Matthew responded promptly to my request for help and came when he said he would. He very quickly came up with likely reasons for the problem, went immediately to buy the things needed and fixed them. He gave a clear explanation of what he had done and was good humoured throughout. The charges were reasonable and the invoicing process was a breeze.
