We used Brighter Electrical 9 years ago to rewire our previous house in London. Matthew and his team did an excellent job, so he was our natural choice to install a new consumer unit, external wall lights, an external Ring camera and other fittings in our new house. As with our previous experience, Matthew was able to offer helpful advice on the phone and very reasonable pricing. Everything went very smoothly on the day and we are completely satisfied with the work he has done. We would not hesitate to recommend him to friends or call on him again if the need ever arose.

I'd contacted a few electricians who had ghosted me, weeks later my issue wasn't fixed and we had estate agent photos looming. I contacted Matt who was responsive, found a creative solution to my problem, came early to my house to fit with my schedule, and fixed the issue at a reasonable price. All before the photos. Matt and his colleague did a fantastic job of installing a sensor light outside for me, as well as fitting four internal lights. Previously they also installed a light in my summer house. Matt sourced a couple of the lights for me, which I requested, and he also threw in some information that helped me regarding some of my other electrical equipment just to guide me when doing things myself at home. They arrived bang on time, and also cleaned up well after the work was completed. Excellent service. Very happy to recommend Matt and his trusted colleagues.

I have used Brighter Electrical a couple of times - most recently Matthew carried out an electrical survey and a range of remedial work on our new property. He worked quickly and efficiently with fair pricing. He did everything from label the fuse box to install a ring security system to earth bonding gas/water pipes and replacing every plug socket in the house as they were all failing (one of the reasons we called him!). He managed to do all the work without any repairs to plastering needed which is amazing really. Would highly recommend Matthew!

Delighted to recommend Matthew. I've been using him about 4 years. He did an overhaul of the electrics in my flat prior to my renting it out and was thorough and professional throughout. He explains what is necessary and what is optional, pricing for both. During the extensive work he brought in two employees and supervised them well. They left the flat clean. He responds quickly. He popped in several times to check on things my tenants raised questions about for free (they weren't issues related to his work in the end). When an LED light fitting went a few weeks ago he was there swiftly and fuss free to replace it. If only all tradesmen were like Matthew! I've told my letting agents not to let anyone else in the flat as I only trust him. Highly recommend.

I called Brighter Electrical Ltd after reading all the wonderful reviews on 'Which Trusted Traders.' He gave me a detailed quote for the job and the final invoice was the same although they experienced a few unexpected issues during the work. In fact they did an excellent job changing an old fuse box to a new one. He also fitted a new Ring door bell and was very patient in explaining to me how it worked! I asked Matthew to fit the electrical items (underfloor heating, lights, fan, lighted mirror) for a bathroom installation. Before starting he requested the item details, which meant he was able to quote over the phone and he was prepared before turning up. The work quoted was two days - to be completed mid-installation and at the end. He was clear about what needed to be done and was upfront with any potential issues that he might find before starting the job. The work areas were left clean & tidy, and his attention to detail was obvious in the work & also in the care he took when moving equipment through the house. The work included creating channels for the wiring and the equipment they used left minimal amounts of dust in the house, for what is normally a messy job.

I chose Matthew from the Which Trusted Trader list & he certainly lived up to expectation. Working with his friendly assistant Keith, he was prompt, efficient, easy to deal with and knowledgeable. His prices seemed fair and he worked neatly, cleanly and carefully. The job was to replace all the MCBs in our new-build maisonette with RCBOs and to install a small sub-main inside an existing wardrobe, requiring a neat access hole to be cut in the side panel. This job required a thorough re-test of all the electrics and the issuance of new compliance certificate, which was emailed over the same day. I strongly recommend him.

I can not recommend Matthew enough. He has done two jobs for me now; always spelling out the options, providing alternative solutions, thinking of all the little details and completing the jobs promptly and with the minimum of fuss.
