Joe Coffil-Brown is unfailingly helpful, his advice has always been sound and his work is highly skilled, supported by a good crew on each occasion. Joe and his team completed a very good prune of our Ash tree, which had gone a little wild after several years of neglect! The price was also competitive against other local Trusted Traders. In addition to the pruning, the team were very polite and tidy - our garden looked cleaner after they had finished that when they started. All in all, very pleased with the work

Have not been able to get them to contact me, since supplying a quote. Joe made a site visit on the 20th November, I then had to chase him for a quote, some 5/6 weeks, he then sent a draft of the works with no prices on the 7th January, asking was I happy with the description of the works so he could confirm the costs, which he sent the next day, 8th January. The quote consisted of a total cost for the tree work for £2,000.00, total for stump grinding £460.00 and total cost to treat the stump on T1 £60.00. I sent an email back on the 8th January, asking him that I needed a separate price for each of the groups of trees, marked T1 to T6, as I needed to discuss them with my neighbour. I have been phoning and sending emails, talking with members of staff, but not getting anything from Joe. Today is 1st February 2026.

Brighter Outlook provided an excellent service for the removal of a tree and pruning of two others. Joe has been friendly and professional throughout - keeping to appointments, giving good advice, ensuring we complied with local authority requirements and being flexible (giving further quotes) when we wanted to consider other options. The team who completed the work arrived on schedule (on an icy day, too!), were friendly, knowledgable, undemanding and did a great job. Everything left tidily and the garden looking so much better. I would highly recommend.

Joe at Brighter Outlook Tree Surgeons Ltd, visited our home to view the job and provided a competitive quote promptly after his visit. Joe and his colleague arrived on time and made a lovely job of pruning our olive tree (crown reduction, canopy lift, and shaping). The garden was left clean and tidy. Brighter Outlook are professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. We would definitely use them again.
