About
Brightspace was established in 2015 and has grown over the last few years to the current team of 3 electricians, Chad, Steve & Martin and two apprentices, Louis & Alby.
Working in both commercial and domestic installations, we provide free quotations for jobs and will happily visit the site to discuss the requirements with customers.
I am an apprentice trained electrician, with 20 years experience, initially working on the South-West coast and gradually moving into London and Kent. I have a large level of experience in new build properties and also responsive maintenance.
We are an NICEIC Approved contractor, all of our works are certificated and Part P building control certificates issues when and where required.
We cover all aspects of electrical work, including: general maintenance and repairs, rewires, fault finding, LED lighting conversions, Electrical Installation Condition Reports (Landlords certificates), fuse box upgrades, new installations and outside lighting.

After buying a run down property, we contacted Brightspace for a full house rewire. It was a huge amount of work but the team were super efficient, reliable, polite and a pleasure to have working on our home. They also helped advice us on a few things which have really been great in the house (wiring in a doorbell, night sensor on our porch light) We’re really delighted with their work and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Bright Space were sub-contracted by Garden Buildings Ltd to install the electrics in a new garden building and reconnect existing garden lighting. Chad and Stephen did an excellent job between them. They present well, arrive on time in smart vehicles and get on with the job with minimum fuss. Chad communicates quickly and effectively, something that cannot be said of many smaller enterprises these days. Most importantly, their work is very professional. I wouldn't hesitate to re-engage them myself, or recommend their services to others.

Bright Space Electrical Service supplied and fitted security cameras around our house. They were polite, clean and friendly and you hardly knew they were there. Chad and his team wired a new garden building including CAT6 cabling to run an internet connection from the house. Despite being a tricky job, Chad and the team delivered exactly what they said they would . They were always punctual, delivered the work to a high standard and always left the site clean. Chad always responds quickly. I needed some light fittings & switches changed and Electrical Safety Test done on a property I'm going to be renting out. There was quite a lot of work that was needed to bring the electrics up to standard in order to achieve a satisfactory level to get the safety certificate issued. We’ve just used Brightspace for what I think is the 4th time. They are now our go-to electricians in the area and I would not consider anyone else. Chad and his team are consistently and reliably responsive to enquiries, kind and clearly very good at what they do. Whether it’s been a large job like wiring our garden office, or a smaller job installing a data cable using an underfloor space, they’ve always completed it on time, at a very reasonable price and with none of the mess that others would leave behind! Nothing seems to be technically too difficult for them which gives a lot of confidence! We will definitely use them again

The job was carried out really neatly and I was very happy with the new lights and sockets at the end of the garden. Installed a new house alarm system with additional siren, doorbell and floodlight camera plus installed a few other new lights (internal and external) Wasn’t actually the cheapest quote I received for the job but Chad listened carefully to what I wanted and fully briefed me on my options, obstacles and any alternative ideas. I knew the quality of work would be well worth the extra money and I wasn’t wrong. Had full confidence in him and just let him get on with it.
