We live in a 100 sq.m. apartment. Dave Hirst replaced all flooring (except kitchen & bathrooms), and replaced all skirting boards, door frames and architraves throughout. He also custom built new wardrobes. We live on the 3rd floor, so this required Dave to use one bedroom as a workshop, and carry all materials and equipment upstairs. Dave's work is first class. He is a skilled craftsman, who is meticulous in planning and execution. The disruption lasted about six weeks, but every day Dave cleaned up and left us in the best situation he could until the following day. His attention to detail is second to none, and nothing is too much trouble to get the job done properly. He also has excellent taste and recommended some things we had not thought of. Finally, the invoices matched exactly the quotes, so budgeting was very accurate. I cannot recommend Dave more highly.

BrownHirst Joinery half panelled one wall in our hallway, and fully panelled floor to ceiling the back wall in our 28ft lounge.

We changed internal double kitchen doors and all the handles on all our other internal doors. Wooden floor in a herringbone style was fitted in our dressing room. I showed Dave pictures of what I wanted in the doors and wooden floor and Dave brought my vision to life. He is a very tidy, methodical worker who clearly takes pride in his work. Any future joinery work, Dave will be my first port of call.
