Jamie serviced my boiler and gas safety check at a good price.Showed me how increase water pressure on boiler when low. Recommend ideas to replace 2 customize radiators in the future. Highly recommend and would use this company again.

Jamie from Brown's heating came to service our boiler following Which reviews. He came when he said he would, seems to do all checks required, honest view of a few problems. Fair fee for service. I would recommend and will be asking him next year for our service!

My boiler needed a new PRV. Jamie worked quickly, cleanly and efficiently, and had the spare part needed because he'd asked all the right questions before he came. He also repressurised the system, which wasn't expected but needed doing, and he stayed until everything worked. His invoice matches his quote exactly. He answered all my questions and gave me great, honest advice about my boiler. He was polite and friendly and even explained what he was doing to my kids. He also called the next day to check that everything was still working. I would have no hesitations in recommending him and will definitely call him again if I have any problems with my heating.

Boiler broke on a cold morning. We were left with no shower, no heating and some very grumpy kids. They were very quick and a simple problem was fixed at a reasonable price. We were very grateful and will definitely use them again.

Jaime was super efficient. As soon as I rang him to check out my boiler when it failed he made time the same day to assess the problem and soon after a few days he was available to install a new one. It was a days work hence minimal disruption and also good pricing. I look forward to his future servicing of the boiler which he has on his diary.

After dealing with various boiler engineers over the years who invariably end up being difficult to communicate with, impatient, incompetent, unreliable, unqualified, etc., it's great to finally find one, after much searching online, who is qualified (Gas Safety, G3 certified, etc.), good communicator, friendly, helpful, and reliable! Jamie is a credit to the industry, and has all the right qualifications for dealing with my unvented cylinder system. He was able to diagnose it quickly and get the hot water running again by replacing the two thermostats. I also have a new Worcester Bosch combi-boiler in another property that he is also qualified to deal with (Worcester Bosch Accredited Installer in fact), so I will definitely be calling upon him again to service that boiler.

We hired Browns to install a new Worcester Bosch combi boiler to replace two ancient boilers in the house we just moved into. It was quite a complex job given the age and positioning of our old system. Jamie was very professional when he arrived to give a quote and was very clear in explaining what the job would entail, any challenges that might come up that would add to the cost or disruption, and laid out our options clearly. He wasn't pushy to get us to buy the most expensive system. It was quite expensive but not out of line with other quotes we received, including British Gas. We thought in advance we wanted a Worcester Bosch, and knew that he was accredited with them, so that did help, as he could give us a guaranteed product. After telling him we wanted to go ahead with the quote he was very quick in getting onto the job. He worked fast and left the place spotlessly clean afterwards. So far everything has been great with the new boiler too. Would definitely recommend Browns to anyone looking for a new boiler installation.

We contacted Jamie for a quote for a new boiler after our flue had developed a leak (our current boiler was already 15+ years old). We already had 2 quotes, one from British Gas, which was of course was quite expensive and another from a trade person we found on Local Hero's which was significantly cheaper than British Gas. Initially Jamie quoted a similar price to British Gas but after some negotiation we agreed a better price. Although Jamie was slightly more expensive than the trade person we found on Local Hero's we decided to go with Jamie for the following reasons: *He was an accredited worcester bosch fitter *He had great reviews already *When we spoke to him he was really knowledgeable, was able to answer all our questions and gave great advice *We also needed the boiler fitted ASAP as we had no hot water or heating and he was able to do this within a few days. We were so pleased that we went with Jamie. He did an amazing job and couldn't be more pleased. He was friendly and professional. He took the time to explain everything and was on the go from start to finish. What surprised us most was the care and attention he took in our property, unfortunately our flue was boxed in and he needed to break into the box to take out the old flue and replace the new flue, he took extra time and consideration to limited the damage and then repaired it (something we are quite certain British Gas would not have done). Also the work came in slightly under the original quote.
