Contacted Browns Heating Services in the morning explaining my boiler had broken down and I had no heating or hot water. Jamie promptly arrived two hours later, diagnosed the fault and sourced the parts to repair the boiler with efficiency and speed. Within two hours of arriving the boiler was working perfectly and I had hot water and heating. This was much appreciated on a very cold day. I wouldn’t hesitate contacting Jamie again if I had any central heating problems in the future. He was professional and provided a first class service at a reasonable cost.

We had problems with our heating system where the radiators and hot water were only slightly getting warm. British Gas quoted a wait time of 4 weeks. Jamie came on Wednesday, investigated the problem and power flushed the system on Thursday. All radiators are now working perfectly and the work was done to a high standard for a fair price.

My boiler needed a new PRV. Jamie worked quickly, cleanly and efficiently, and had the spare part needed because he'd asked all the right questions before he came. He also repressurised the system, which wasn't expected but needed doing, and he stayed until everything worked. His invoice matches his quote exactly. He answered all my questions and gave me great, honest advice about my boiler. He was polite and friendly and even explained what he was doing to my kids. He also called the next day to check that everything was still working. I would have no hesitations in recommending him and will definitely call him again if I have any problems with my heating.

I fully recommend Jamie Brown he is very personable, professional and considerate. Jamie helped us with an emergency fix, speaking to us over New Years - he swiftly sourced a part and installed on a Saturday to get us up and running. We then later replaced the old boiler a job that many didn’t want to do because of a long hidden flue - he was always punctual, polite and did his very best to cause us as little disruption as possible, cleaning & tidying after himself and working around our toddler, as quietly as could be possible with this kind of job. Very happy with the work so far and prices are fair and transparent. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

New boiler and re-running gas supply

Prior to getting our kitchen updated, we needed to upgrade our old combi boiler. I contacted Jamie by email and he got back to us on the same day. He provided advice on what would need doing, particularly the re-run of the gas supply so that the new pipe was upgraded to the required 22mm. I sent the boiler models we were looking at and he was able to accommodate this in his quote. Once the quote was agreed, he was able to do the work the week after. The work took 2 days and Jamie was very efficient. The new boiler looks great and works well. We discussed how best to do the gas re-run and it looks just as we'd hope it would. He also upgraded some leaky towel rail valves and toilet in the bathroom. The toilet was worse than expected but Jamie went to Screwfix whilst here to get some additional parts. Once all work was complete, he cleared up and tidied after himself. We'll definitely use Jamie for future plumbing works.

Install a new Worcester Bosch Boiler

Very pleased with the finished work. The scope of work for the boiler removal and replacement was clearly detailed and explained. All my queries were given good explanation e.g. location of magnetic filter which would get in the way of the new dishwasher, and also merits of remote control of the boiler using Hive; and routing of the condenser pipe. The job was completed within the day and the premises were left clean and tidy. The follow up included registration of the boiler with the Manufacturer. The guarantee duly arrived a few days later. I would happily recommend Jamie as a reliable and competent engineer.
