Tim has carried out all my decorating projects for around fifteen years now, internal and external. I don’t even consider anyone else because I know his work is outstanding, he is totally trustworthy, flexible and considerate. Tim submitted a detailed quote for decorating the main bedroom, the only room he hadn’t previously done. Old fitted wardrobes and a 1930’s fireplace had to be stripped out. As work progressed Tim agreed a flexible work schedule to tie in with the plasterer which greatly minimised disruption. The job “evolved” slightly from the original quote but Tim had no hesitation in reviewing his quote to reflect this. Very fair and considerate.

Right from the start Tim produced a very detailed quote for the work, which stood out from the other quotes I received. The first day on the job, he meticously covered our stair carpet and wood block flooring. He then spent many days thorougly preparing all the walls and woodwork. Followed by 2 undercoats to the walls and wood work and then top coats as required. All in all a firstclass job and Tim was always very pleasant and helpfull.

Tim painted the entire exterior of our detached 1920s two story house 10 years ago and we did not hesitate to contact him when it came time for it to be repainted. If anything the second time round was even better than the first. Tim was very meticulous with the preparation of the wooden window sills including filling where there was weather damage and going the extra mile with undercoats. Tim's quotation was very fair and he never tried to catch up time lost to bad weather by rushing the job. I would recommend him wholeheartedly and we are looking forward to having him back to do some interior painting early in the New Year.

Tim's done some work in our house in the past, and this time we asked him to paint the timber window surrounds on the ground and first floor. We had to wait a while for Tim to be available, but I much preferred to wait for him rather than use someone else. As usual, Tim did a great job. He worked very diligently and carefully and is also a pleasant person to have around. I'd definitely recommend Tim and he'd be my first choice if we need to have any more decorating or painting done in the future.

Tim went to great lengths to protect our property from dust and smells while completely redecorating two bedrooms. His preparation was meticulous, disruption minimal and execution excellent. Highly recommended.

Tim has decorated various rooms in our house over the last few years. This latest job was a particularly tricky one as part of our hallway had doorways blocked off and an extra extension area added on, some walls were newly plastered and some were previously decorated, the staircase had just been installed so also lots of filling work. As always, Tim was very clean and tidy, he carried out the work discussed and agreed to a very high standard. We are very happy with the finish and would not hesitate to have him back for further work or to recommend his services

Tim has done an excellent job redecorating my large hall and landing. His preparation and attention to detail was meticulous, and the finished work of a very high standard. He was flexible with times and dates, and I was comfortable leaving him in the house when I was away. Any unexpected issues that cropped up during the work was fully discussed before proceeding. He was polite, tidy and worked steadily. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Tim did a fantastic job of papering our hallway and stairs. The walls were prepped to perfection, thermal paper applied solidly and the final lining and filling left a faultless finish. Also a really nice guy and always happy to be flexible about days and times working. Would definitely use again.

Tim painted the exterior of our house including window masonry surrounds, window frames, downpipes, front door and carried out minor repairs to fascia and soffit boards as necessary. He started the project exactly when he said he would. He carried out high quality, diligent work. We're really pleased with the outcome.

He arrived on time for the survey and emailed a written quotation. On the day the work was completed on time in a very professional manner and to a high standard. All carpets were protected, any holes in the plaster were filled and the walls were sanded down with a vacuum sander so there was no dust. There was a lot of tight cutting in where the ceiling met a different colour to the wall and the work was perfect. Tim is a delight to have working for you and I have asked him to quote for further work. I have no hesitation in highly recommending him, based on the highly professional standard he achieves.

Tim redecorated our kitchen, walls, woodwork (including bookshelves) and ceiling. His preparation work was meticulous and he did everything possible to resolve issues arising from earlier poor work by others. The results were excellent and the price was very reasonable. Tim worked quietly and unobtrusively and took great care to minimise inconvenience, leaving us each evening with a usable kitchen.

This is the third time Tim has decorated our house having previously decorated both inside and out. This time we had a number of rooms and the stairwell and hall freshened up. Tim’s attention to detail is exemplary, often noticing finer things and making recommendations on what would look best. Tim has a real collaborative approach to his work and throughout kept us updated on progress and plans for each day. Tim was recommended by a family member and I haven't been disappointed. Tim painted my kitchen following a refit, also my hallway, stairs, landing and bathroom. All his work is of a very high standard, the preparation he does before painting ensured an excellent finish. He is professional and knowledgeable about the correct materials for each job. Communication and advice is also very good and willingly given. It has been a pleasure having Tim in my home, any mess is kept to a minimum and he cleaned up at the end of each day. This was the second time I'd asked Tim to do some decorating for us, which I guess is a recommendation in itself. This time I asked Tim to paint some cupboards and also our kitchen. As before, his work is of a high standard and he works very carefully. He's a helpful, pleasant and easy person to have around the house, and also very tidy, always clearing up before he finished for the day. I'd highly recommend Tim and have already asked him to quote for another job.

A ceiling previously repaired by a builder had cracked and flaked. As Tim has worked for me before and I know the high quality of his work, I asked him to look at the ceiling. Tim explained what he would do to rectify the problem, and kept me updated throughout the work. Tim's honesty, very careful preparation (he spotted cracks I hadn't noticed), knowledge of his trade and of the various materials he could use to repair the cracks make his work stand out. He also replaced a broken light fitting for no extra charge, so that the room is now fully fit for use again. The work was completed to the agreed schedule and budget. As always, Tim worked tidily and hoovered up thoroughly afterwards, and is pleasant to have in the house. The ceiling and coving now look as good as new and I am delighted with Tim's work.

Tim Billson of Bryad Decorating Services recently carried out the exterior painting of our house. Tim meticulously filled every crack in the render, of which there were many. It was also a relief to see that he took great care to protect windows and rain pipes from paint splashes. We were very happy with Tim's work and recommend him highly.

Having done some internal decoration for me earlier this year, Tim returned to paint the outside of my house. Neighbours have commented favourably on Tim's good work and how much better my house now looks. I am sure this is in part because Tim first prepares all surfaces carefully. Tim painted roughcast walls and wooden panelling. Tim also painted a peeling white wooden external cupboard door both inside and out, together with the exterior of a very dirty white gas meter cupboard, so that the whole exterior now looks pristine. Tim also stained a panelled wooden front door beautifully, achieving a smooth even finish despite years of wear, having first removed the brass fittings where possible. Tim finished within his planned schedule and his invoice was less than his original quotation because some of the work originally quoted for turned out not to be possible at present e.g. the rendering first needs to be repaired before it can be painted. Tim is helpful and easy to discuss things with, and I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Tim has just finished painting all the ceilings, walls and paintwork in my one bedroom flat. He is a perfectionist and therefore does a very good job. Importantly, he is also helpful and respectful of the fact that he is in your home. He checks things with you at each stage and always leaves things clean and tidy afterwards, all much appreciated. Highly recommended.

Mr Billson , has yet again completed another successful decorating job in my house .. The whole project was carried out to the highest efficiency.. He always listens to my requests, and does his best to meet them .. Any room that he works in , is left clean and tidy at the end of the day, He is polite thoughtful and trustworthy .. I asked Tim to paint our hallway, stairs, landing and bathroom. Tim's communication before and during the job was very good. He works carefully and his work is excellent. He tidied and hoovered before he left every day - in fact I don't think our house has ever looked so clean! Perhaps even more important to me was that Tim was a really nice person to have around. He's considerate, reliable and pleasant and I felt happy leaving him to work while we were out. I've already asked Tim to quote for doing some more work, and would highly recommend him.

Tim has carried out work for us before in our old house, this latest job that he has just completed was to redecorate a room with many existing issues in our new house. Tim advised us and worked with us to get the best result on the room discussing the options and best solutions. The room is now complete and looks amazing.
