Welcome to BSL Plumbing and Heating with 30 years experience in the trade i have covered the Forest of Dean and surrounding areas.

The installation, Servicing and Breakdown Repair of Boilers is my main business speciality but i also offer many other Central Heating services including Hot water cylinders (Vented and Unvented) Fires, Cookers, Water Heaters, Radiators, Under floor heating and heating controls.
I also undertake all major aspects of general plumbing from dripping taps to complete bathroom renovations.

BSL was recommended to me by another plumber who couldn’t do the job I needed. We have a complete Shower Room re-fit including moving the toilet and so digging up floor and laying new soil pipe. Ben was reliable on all fronts from keeping appointments to look at the job and actually starting and completing the job. He is a plodder but he is thorough and helpful. A good job done by a helpful and positive contractor.

We were recommended to Ben by my son who had recently had a large scale boiler and radiator plus pipework job completed to a very high standard. Our first job for Ben was to correct a faulty tank installation by a British Gas contractor. Since then Ben has routinely carried out servicing and repairs not only for us but for my Scout Group Hut. He has recently been appointed the nominated contractor for our Scout Group.

I have had my boiler serviced, and repaired, for the last 3 years by BSL Plumbing. Based on the quality of service that I have received with the boiler I had them fit new radiators and a heated towel rail in Nov 2023. I found Ben at BSL to be friendly and knowledgeable. Ben most recently fitted a new boiler for us. Previously Ben has done an annual service on the old boiler (over a 7 year period) and also replaced our radiators. I always feel in safe hands with Ben. He is very experienced and knowledgeable, works to a high standard, making sure everything is done as well as it can be. It is easy to communicate with Ben and I know that I will get a reply to a query quickly and reassuringly - whether it is related to a date for coming to do a job or to answer a concern.

The first job that Ben did for me was a full Central Heating system replacement on 26 July 2013. Since then he has completed all my Plumbing jobs for me from replacing a toilet syphon, kitchen taps, and bathroom taps to a disabled bathroom conversion for my elderly inlaws. Ben is reliable, trustworthy and his work is of a very high standard.There have been times when I have contacted him at short notice but he has always found the time to complete the job.
