Welcome to BSL Plumbing and Heating with 30 years experience in the trade i have covered the Forest of Dean and surrounding areas.

The installation, Servicing and Breakdown Repair of Boilers is my main business speciality but i also offer many other Central Heating services including Hot water cylinders (Vented and Unvented) Fires, Cookers, Water Heaters, Radiators, Under floor heating and heating controls.
I also undertake all major aspects of general plumbing from dripping taps to complete bathroom renovations.

Ben came to do my annual boiler service and discovered that the flue had been left in an unsafe condition by a builder who had fitted a new polycarbonate roof and misaligned the flue. I contacted the builder who was unable to return to work until November at the earliest so Ben said he would be able to deal with it for me. I supplied a new roofing panel and Ben did a terrific job of fitting the replacement and ensuring that it was properly sealed against water ingress where lead had not been sufficiently well fitted. I am very happy with the work and the price as well as Ben's careful and patient explanations of the nature of the problem

Have had Ben out before to carry out a service on my boiler. On this occasion. We'd ask him to replace the radiator and to flush one as well when asked Ben for the quote he was quick to respond with the quote being a reasonable amount. Ben turned up and carried out the work to a high standard which we are very pleased about making sure once he completed all the work to clear up, following the he then made sure that everything was up and running before leaving. Again, I would highly recommend Ben.

We discovered that our boiler had sprung a leak on the Friday evening of a BH weekend. Ben had previously been recommended to me but I hadn't used him before. However, he was first to respond to my cry for help and came to the house on the Saturday morning. He diagnosed the problem and said he would try to source the part needed as soon as possible. Being a Bank Holiday weekend I wasn't hopeful of a quick repair but whilst "off duty" on the Sunday, Ben called in to a Screwfix branch on the off chance that they might have the required part in stock - even though he had already ordered one elsewhere. They did and on the Monday, (the Bank Holiday!), Ben arrived at 9.30am and installed the part leaving us with a fully functioning boiler. I would not hesitate to call on BSL Plumbing & Heating again should the need arise.

I fully recommend Ben! He has completed a lot of work for me including replacing two showers so I already knew the standard of his work. This time he replaced my faulty boiler, going above and beyond after trying to repair it for me first, which he didn’t charge for. He worked all day non stop. My Father had previously used Ben to service his heating system, so i knew of the quality of Ben`s work. He was able-at very short notice-to order,and install a new electric shower for me. He installed the shower, and completed the work to a very high standard, and upon completion of the work, checked with me that i was happy with the completed work. Ben came very highly recommended. looking at Bens work on facebook and the feedback gave me the confidence to contact him. The communication has been very good and Ben was able to gives us time that would work for us due to working for NHS and shift work this can be hard, but Ben was very helpful and able to fit us in. He came the house and diagnosed that need new part, he was able to order this for us and booked us in to get this fixed. When he came to fix the boiler we also ask him services it as well which was more than happy to do for us. Ben is work is excellent and was very fairly priced. have got him to come back and do some other work. over all BSL plumbing is brilliant.

BSL was recommended to me by another plumber who couldn’t do the job I needed. We have a complete Shower Room re-fit including moving the toilet and so digging up floor and laying new soil pipe. Ben was reliable on all fronts from keeping appointments to look at the job and actually starting and completing the job. He is a plodder but he is thorough and helpful. A good job done by a helpful and positive contractor.

We were recommended to Ben by my son who had recently had a large scale boiler and radiator plus pipework job completed to a very high standard. I have had my boiler serviced, and repaired, for the last 3 years by BSL Plumbing. Ben most recently fitted a new boiler for us. Previously Ben has done an annual service on the old boiler (over a 7 year period) and also replaced our radiators. I always feel in safe hands with Ben. He is very experienced and knowledgeable, works to a high standard, making sure everything is done as well as it can be. The first job that Ben did for me was a full Central Heating system replacement on 26 July 2013. Since then he has completed all my Plumbing jobs for me from replacing a toilet syphon, kitchen taps, and bathroom taps to a disabled bathroom conversion for my elderly inlaws.
