About

My name is Ross Coen I am the owner and founder of Bumblebee plumbing and heating. We have been going since 2015 and we are going from strength to strength. We now have 7 vans on the road and a full-time office. We recently won "BOILER AND HEATING CONTRACTORS INSTALLERS 2019" in the energy efficiency awards after winning it in 2018 also, showing that all our hard work and commitment is paying off.

We have a commitment to high level service and always strive for the perfect job. Our engineers are highly trained and experienced meaning that our customers get the best guys on the job every time.

At Bumblebee we are strong believers in "paying today to secure tomorrow". For instance, we have heavily invested in "our system" which sends SMS when the engineers on his way.

Booked my boiler service a month ago. My appointment was confirmed for the day and time I requested. In addition, the name of the engineer was included in the detail. On the morning of the work, I received another message confirming the engineer's arrival time. The work was carried out in a timely and professional manner. The guys were respectful of my home and polite. Bumblebees are my first choice when it comes to plumbing and heating issues.

We have had a problem with a new designer radiator, which wasn't really heating. Then the pipe disconnected and water went everywhere. Jack came out to fix the radiator and thought there was a problem with the valve. He explained in simple terms what he thought it was, and tried a repair to sort it. Shortly after he left the pipe went again, and this was the problem Jack had been concerned about. He turned up with different valves and spent some time checking everything worked. For the first time, the radiator appeared to heat properly. The pipe is firmly fixed in place now with an 'olive'. Not only do I really appreciate Jack and Bumblebee's support and swift response in an emergency, but I am also now able to go back to the supplier about the faulty (expensive) thermostat, as I can explain exactly what the problem was. Thank you all for your help, and especially Jack.

After being without hot water or heating for 3 weeks, we were let down when the heating engineer decided he didn’t want the job that had been booked for over 3 weeks. A friend mentioned Bumblebee so I looked at their website, which was very easy to navigate. I got a quote and requested a call back. From the initial first move we had a brand new boiler fitted within 3 days…… amazing! Right up until the day we thought it would go wrong, they would let us down, but they didn’t. The job was done within 5 hours. Nice tidy work. A very friendly plumber, who was obviously highly experienced. He's done a great job and after so long, it was heaven to be able to turn a tap on to wash the dishes rather than boil a kettle. The lady on reception was extremely friendly and was nice to deal with. I would highly recommend Bumblebee, they are an outstanding company!

Booked repair on the 30th. Repaired on the morning of the 31st. I am no expert but the repair was done very well, clean and tidy working practices and my dog loved Ross the Boss. The boiler is still working as I expected it to. Great job, well done.

Just moved into our property heating and hot water not working correctly telephoned bumble bee Andy engineer came out 23.12.2024 condemned boiler leaking co2 and screws missing although had been apparently serviced end of July 2024 by another company. Magnificent service received by bumble bee. Andy arranged for new Boiler to be Installed today engineer who attended Karl was superb polite knowledgeable and very empathetic to our needs. Cannot thank Karl and bumble bee enough lovely n toasty for Christmas and for the health and safety aspect. Would highly recommend Bumble Bee Services Thank You and Merry Christmas.

We have used Bumblebee before and were impressed. This time was to fit a new radiator which had to be put off several times due to building work. The quoting was quick and transparent, very easy. Vicky was very helpful (and patient) in keeping rebooking. Jack did the work and he was friendly, professional and tidy and did a good job. I wouldn't hesitate to use this local firm again. We have been very impressed.

This visit was for an annual boiler service, but we have been regular customers with Bumblebee Plumbing and Heating limited for several years. They are extremely efficient, helpful and knowledgeable and do a great job. They are also very thorough and customer service either in person by the engineer who visits or by phone if you have any queries is excellent.

New Boiler fitting
Great service from Bumblebee from the first appointment to discuss our requirements for a new boiler. We researched which Boiler we wanted and Sean was very helpful and ordered the new boiler for us. The guys that fitted it were very pleasant and efficient and did a great job. We are extremely pleased with our boiler. Our home is nice and cosy now. The communication from the company has been excellent! We also had our gas fire serviced. We have now set up an annual maintenance plan with them to look after our boiler, to ensure the terms of the warranty are fulfilled. We would highly recommend Bumblee if you are looking for a boiler replacement or any other plumbing services. Thank you to the whole team!
