My name is Ross Coen, Owner and Founder of Bumblebee Plumbing and Heating LTD. We have been operating since 2015 and we are going from strength to strength. We now have 8 vans on the road and a full-time office. We have numerous accolades for our excellent work.

We had an issue with our boiler losing pressure, which resulted in a leak. I contacted Bumblebee, they were very clear on their approach and processing during the booking process. I received an email straightaway to confirm my booking. On the day, I received another message to inform me that the Engineer was on his way. The Engineer arrived, was polite and explained the issue and resolved it in a very timely manner.

New Combi boiler fitted

I had a new combi boiler fitted as I had issues with the hot water tank and head tank gravity fed system which was giving me poor shower pressure and the booster pump I had for the shower was very noisy and temperamental. The job to take out all the equipment and replace with a new boiler was carried out within 2 days and I was very pleased with the result. It was suggested to move the boiler from the utility room to the garage and this was a better arrangement for me. Both men doing the job worked well and there were no issues. They were able to leave me with gas and cold water overnight which helped make the changeover more manageable for me. I was really pleased with the end product. A great company with very courteous and capable plumbers. I would highly recommend them.

Rang Bumblebee on Monday morning as a cold water expansion tank burst, they came out the same afternoon, quoted for the work and came the following afternoon to fit the new tank, I was expecting around a week before I could have water again. That is what I call an excellent service and the price was very reasonable. Thank you for fantastic service !

Boiler Service Contract
Contacted Bumblebee to set up a service contract for our boiler. Within 24hrs they had planned a service visit. The engineer made the service visit and everything was carried out as per their communication. Very reliable and unlike our previous company, no chasing to see where the engineer was and rescheduling appointments. Superb service from stat to finish. Engineer was very pleasant and organised. Highly recommend.

We have a regular maintenance contract with Bumblebee who have been excellent. We needed an upgrade to our central heating system and they recommended a couple of larger radiators. These were installed at the agreed budget price on schedule. The staff were very knowledgeable and pleasant. You can use this company with confidence.

Heating stopped working though hot water OK. Had service contract: phoned Friday (lovely lady on the phone, too!) and got an appointment for Monday morning. Sent text and arrived promptly. Fault diagnosed and fixed within 30 minutes - new motorised valve. Clean, extremely pleasant and utterly competent. Perfect.

excellent service from start to finish called them up and had a quick chat and they sent someone round he was fantastic and explained our options booked to install about 10 days later and they turned up on time and was done in about 5 hours really nice chap who did the work and only left when we were happy cleaned up as well and you wouldnt have know he had been really pleased we had been recommended Bumblebee from a few people and they did not disappoint

The owner of Bumblebee , Ross Coen and his engineers are knowledgeable and experienced and it is easy to see how this company has been recognised as a Which Trusted Trader. When giving my wife and I a quote the advice Ross gave was helpful and clear and we soon understood why friends of ours who had had new boilers fitted by Bumblebee in the past year had recommended them so highly. Their engineer who fitted our boiler was very professional and courteous as was one of his colleagues. Bumblebee is excellent and highly recommended.

Installed new combi boiler system with Hive controls

From first quote to aftercare, we could not be more impressed with how Bumblebee looked after us. Ross patiently answered all our queries and ran through all our multiple options before we agreed what we would like installing. Peter, Andy and Jack arrived as planned and were helpful, friendly, professional and conscientious throughout the two days they worked. They looked after our house and regularly cleaned and hoovered as they worked. Everything was completed as planned and to a high standard. We received a follow up call a few days later and I explained I had a few queries on how to best operate the Hive. Steve visited the following day, answered all my questions and added a few more tips. Bumblebee will be our first call if we need any further work doing.

Had experienced heating controls problems and needed a new programmer. Steve diagnosed the problem then James arrived to fit the new timer once it arrived. James fitted the new programmer checked everything was working OK then explained how the new timer worked and left us the instructions so we could alter the default settings at our leisure. Received a message to say when James was arriving: he was prompt, clean, professional and extremely courteous. 5* Bumblebee once again!

Reliable and worked like a Trojan

First off I have used Bumblebee for a number of years and different properties as we moved. They were passed in to me by world of mouth and they are excellent. We had a boiler playing up and knew it needed replacing when we moved in 12 months ago. Worth noting that Bumblebee had already done work in replacing my old rads when I moved in. From the quote and explaining what was best and suit my needs from Ross, to Alex working from the moment he arrived till he left. I had to force him to have a coffee :-) to post care where I had a layman’s concern/question but the team, steve their ops manager and Vicky in the office, were prompt in reply and even came back to explain and reassure. I don’t go anywhere else and I don’t ask for multiple quotes and I know you get what you pay for nowadays and bumblebee deliver. I now have a the ability for the big boss to finally have water hot enough to soak in a bath so I am also in the good books thanks to BB Also signed up to their service so the boiler will probably outlast me now with the extended warranty

A final fix to a complex problem

Complex problem with the heating controls system meaning several separate visits. James completed a final fix today. As on his last visit, James messaged to say he was coming, arrived punctually, was incredibly polite, was very clean and thoroughly professional outlining clearly what work he'd carried out then demonstrating how the system now operates correctly. Brilliant service as ever and great communications from the office staff, too.

Arrived on time as informed, very efficient work completed, gas hob removed and supply capped ready for electric induction hob install, cleaned up afterwords and removed old equipment. Bumblebee booked to do Combi boiler service in January. We wouldn’t use anyone else 5* service. Ross the boss runs a well organised company focussed on customer satisfaction and high quality operatives.

Good Job Very Efficient
Had an additional radiator to replace a kitchen plinth convector heater. From first contact through to the installation carried out by Andy the whole process was easy and efficient. The way it should be done by all contractors 😁😁

Absolutely brilliant company, highly recommended to anyone who needs either a new boiler, service or any general enquiries. From Ross and the rest of the team, no job is too big and they reply to phone calls/emails straight away. We had a new Worcester 4000 system boiler installed last Monday 4th December, Karl was the installer and did a very thorough job and explained the boilers functions very clearly. We had a few minor issues after instalation but the guys were very prompt to come out and resolve within 24hrs. I took out the insurance offer Bumblebee do after having a boiler installed by them which is £9.99 per month which is well worth it. This covers the annual service and any parts which need replacing and the call out charge. In all we feel Bumblebee are a fantastic family company here in Great Sankey, Warrington who always priorities their customers first and foremost over profit and they always give a 5* service whichever member of the team you come across. Boiler failure late Friday afternoon. Remembered seeing a Bumble Bee repair van in our vicinity, check Google for a number and gave them a call. I believe Ross answered the phone and initially said it would be Tuesday before they could attend, however as we were local he said he would pop over in the morning [Saturday]. He arrived as promised and after giving the boiler the once over, as expected gave the boiler a death certificate ☹️ He suggested a standard well known boiler replacement and that it could be fitted the following Wednesday and gave us a very good quote for the work. Peter arrived early Wednesday morning and by lunchtime we had our central heating fully working. Again efficient, friendly service leaving no mess behind after finishing the job. All I can say is that I would without doubt recommend Bumble Bee Heating and Plumbing to all if they ever need a plumber or their central heating sorted.
