Bumblebee Plumbing & Heating Ltd

I recently used Bumblebee to help resolve an ongoing issue with my heating system, as well as to install a Hive smart thermostat. Ross came out to carry out the work, and I have genuinely never been more impressed with a tradesperson. To start with, the property layout and existing heating controls were quite complex. I’d had a recurring fault ever since moving in, and despite speaking to a couple of other companies previously, nobody had been able to pinpoint the real cause. Ross took the time to properly survey everything, carefully tracing the system and explaining what he was checking and why. He eventually identified the problem as two failed electrical control boxes – something I assumed would require a dedicated electrician. Not only did Ross spot the issue quickly, he replaced both units on the same visit, tested everything thoroughly, and made sure the system was operating safely and correctly. After that, he also set up the Hive system for us. What really stood out was the care he took at the end: he recorded a short personalised video walking through how the heating and hot water settings worked, how to use the Hive app, and what to do if anything ever needed adjusting. It was incredibly helpful and something I’ve genuinely never seen before. Professional, knowledgeable, polite, and absolutely focused on doing the job properly. I would recommend Bumblebee – and especially Ross – without hesitation. A first-class service from start to finish.

Having been recommended by neighbours and checking out comments on Facebook I contacted Bumblebee who offered choice of appointments. Excellent communications. Explined clearly the fixed price and scope of work. Andy arrived on time and completed work thoroughly and efficiently whilst taking the time to explain to me the current condition of our boiler and various checks involved in the service. Very impressed with the level of customer care. Will definitely use again and happy to pass on my recommendations.

Karl attended our property as no central heating low pressure .pipe leak on condenser which he repaired. Heating now working. Ayer coming through bedroom ceiling and he advised not due to the boiler.leak it's due to roof so will have this investigated. Lovely young man very knowledgeable and helpful excellent service received .Thank You Karl

The Engineer Karl removed our ancient boiler and fitted a new Alpha boiler. He was so professional and the job was completed with skill, excellence and dedication to the finished job. Cleaning and hooveringup as he went the finished product was excellent, with all rubbish removed. He was so pleasant and explained the working of the system clearly. Andy was the engineer that came to service our boiler then a few days later returned to replace some radiators at our request. Very clean worker, tided up, you would have guessed anyone had been. Removed all rubbish. Talked me through what he was going to do and asked if I had any questions. Great company and great engineers. The lady in the office was very helpful (sorry I forgot her name).

We took out cover with this local company several years ago after moving and finding out the boiler needed replacing Each year they call to service it We have had to call them a couple ifbtines for leaking radiator pipes when then came out on the following day, completed the work within the cover and to their high standards at all times Having the cover means no huge bills Having it with Bumblebee means a monthly low fee giving us peace of mind and reassurance that it will be completed professionally with no worries We cannot recommend them highly enough

Called in the morning with a radiator not working. Attended 4 hours later and fixed it. Jimmy was professional and pleasant.
