We are an arboricultural services company based in Hertfordshire with over 10 years experience in the Arb industry.
We are qualified and insured to carry out all aspects of tree surgery from small tree reductions and trimming, to rigging techniques to lower trees down safely, to full stump removal, and replanting.
All our work is carried out to BS3998 industry standards,

Really pleased with the work undertaken by Simon and his team. The work was as follows: 1) Fell multi stemmed Sycamore to around 8ft and leave trunks for habitat 2) Reduce Ash tree by around 50% current size due to cavity in trunk 3) Common Horse chestnut = Remove major deadwood throughout whole crown area (Deadwood > 25mm in diameter ) Highly recommend.

Simon and his team came recommended by our neighbours. They were punctual, very polite, and did an excellent job trimming our cedars and laurels. They tidied up very well. They also picked up on a sycamore that really needed to come down which we were monitoring but hadn’t made a decision about. We also felt the quote was reasonable.

I recently used Simon Burnley’s services as he had been recommended to me by a neighbour. From the first contact I had with Simon I found him to be very helpful, and friendly. Simon was very clear with what he would be doing and delivered on everything he said he would do. I am very pleased with the work he carried out removing two large trees, the site where the trees were was left very tidy, you wouldn’t know there had been any trees before. I would have no hesitation in recommending Simon and will definitely contact him again if I need work carried out on any other trees.

Really pleased with the work Simon and the team did pruning my very overgrown holly tree. They were efficient and friendly and tidied up afterwards taking everything away at the end. We used Burnley's Tree Services to have a couple of Silverbirches trimmed. Really impressed with the service provided straight from the start - Simon responded promptly to my email and provided honest advice, and a very reasonable price, in a friendly and professional manner. Removal of Large Fallen Yew Bough After Storm

We had two back to back storms in January which caused a very large bough on a yew tree in the Churchyard to fall precariously over gravestones and potentially act as a public hazard to visitors. Our immediate reaction was to ring Simon. We have used Simon regularly as our resident arborist as he is both very personable, knowledgeable and very reasonably priced. Simon sent two of his crew over the next morning and they cleared up the bough and associated branches very quickly, efficiently and without damage to any of the headstones in a very historic churchyard. We always look to Simon for any advice and subsequent work that needs doing and can’t recommend him highly enough.

Our birches were trimmed really well and sympathetically, and look great. The team were friendly, appear to care for trees, took great care with the rest of the garden so nothing was damaged. The garden was left completely clean and tidy. Will certainly use again.
