Very pleased with the work done by Kyle from Burtons Electrical and Renewables. It was a huge, complicated job of a total rewire in an old house with many problems. Kyle took a very professional approach, explaining what he was doing and why. He was very tidy in his work, cleaning up as he went along. I would happily use Burtons again, and will recommend them to friends and family.

From the initial visit of Rob Burton to the flat to carry out a survey for the installation of two HHR storage heaters to the departure of the two guys who did the work the feeling of reliability was most noticeable. Rob did not try to sell us the most expensive package, but we talked him into giving us the more expensive heaters, and after we had a smart meter fitted he reduced the cost because of the updating of the switch gear. Throughly satisfied and we would have no hesitation in recommending the company.

We had our SolarEdge solar and battery installation completed a year ago. I didn’t give a review immediately as I had no idea if the system would actually work as was proposed. Rob was professional giving good advice and answering my questions throughout the process from my initial calling in unannounced at his premises and via email, WA and messenger. No issues with the G99 application and completion certificates which were received immediately from the DNO. Rob’s team were all professional, polite, neat and tidy taking time to get things right when others would have said ‘that’ll do’. Cannot fault Burton Electricals & Renewables and would (and do) recommend Rob and his Company without hesitation.

We have used this company for several years. this time they did our 5 yearly electrical review and report plus the annual PAT testing. They seem friendly and reliable and we are happy with their service.

Moving to a new location makes it difficult to choose contractors. You don‘t know local contractors and they have to do work miles away from where you live. I checked Which Trusted Traders and found Burton. They were able to provide the service I wanted. Despite being busy they were able to fit in the work I needed within the timescale required. They arranged access to the property and provided an objective report wich was detailed and informative. I won’t hesitate to use them again.

Our Solar panel installation was completed in early July. The workmanship was exceptional and everything was completed in line with the original schedule. The system is working extremely well and the production is exceeding expectations. Can whole heartedly recommend this organisation.

On requesting an initial quote Rob promptly arrived and was friendly, sincere, and professional throughout. We agreed to a full rewiring of the flat and additionally complete many other items of work. In addition to new sockets and lights, other works included installing wifi-Rointe electric ceramic radiators that have been fantastic; ceiling mounted infrared-panel heating in one of the rooms, complete with thermostat and control built into the walls (Even though this particular system was novel to the team, they were perfectly installed and helpful consideration was given as to where to put the controls). White-goods, new fuse box, and extractors with associated vent-holes though walls were also fitted. Rob provided useful suggestions for placing sockets, switches etc. and future proofing work to minimise disruption if further building work was undertaking. After agreeing to the full list of works and materials choices, a price was agreed, and this did not increase. Rob assigned his colleague Chris to help project manage the works. As the works started some initial problems occurred as the building presented with some unforeseen challenges that needed to be worked through. Chris provided constant up-to-date information with the ongoing works and was always available on hand to resolve any issues. The whole team presented as friendly, professional, and completed large amounts of work each day. Everything was completed to a high standard. Highly recommend.

Installing solar panels and battery on our home, including new consumer unit with good quality workmanship, helpful paperwork all to budget, professional from the initial quote to last piece of work completed. guys who were working were nice and always good-natured to our dogs who woofed at them a lot.

Unfortunately Rob let me down. I had to have a ceramic hob fitted. This entailed an electrician and a stone cutter to enlarge the hole in a granite work top. I got in touch with Rob and he agreed that he would at the end of one day remove the old hob and the following day fit the new one. He told me the coming week he could not fit the job in as he was working away. I therefore arranged the granite cutter to come the week after that. I then telephoned Rob 2 or 3 times leaving messages to check if the day I had arranged would be alright with him, I also emailed him. He never replied to either. I expected better of a Which Trusted Trader. I understand some jobs trader do not want. However just say so upfront.

The quote was quick and correct with no additional charges as this can happen with some. Tuesday morning the electrician arrived at the time specified and calmly and quietly carried out the work required. He discussed what he was going to do and explained clearly before he started. I returned as he finished the work and he hoovered and left the place clean and tidy. Spot on.

Prompt response to query, reasonable quote (which was exactly what the job ended up costing), and polite, extremely efficient service on the day. I'll definitely be using Rob and his team for any future electrical work.

We are pleased with the installation of an outside power point. The quotation was competitive, service was prompt and the gentleman who carried out the work on the day was friendly, professional and tidy. The work involved providing electricity into our new garden shed. A previous contractor had suggested a route that involved tunnelling under a path. Rob advised a better option for the supply cable that did not involve lifting and moving paving slabs. Very pleased with the standard of work carried out.

After purchasing an electric vehicle I needed a faster method to charge the car rather than using the 13amp socket. I opted to go with the Zappi as I'm interested in a solar/battery installation at a later date. I contacted several suppliers about installation however they all wanted to run the cabling around the outside of the property. This would have involved running a 10mm cable around outside the property from one side to another. The run includes crossing decorative brickwork and white woodwork. I didn't want an unsightly cable taken away from one of the best features of the property. I turned to the energy website and found Burton electrical services. Rob came out to my home and completely understood my requirements and planned a route that went up into the loft space, across the top and down into the garage on the other side. Rob was very helpful throughout the whole process including keeping me up to date on the supply issues with the Zappi. The work performed is to a very high standard including meeting 100% of my requirements with zero cablings showing on the front side of the property. He has also allowed for my future PV/Battery requirements. Very happy with the installation

Burton Electrical was recommended to me by a friend last February when I needed extensive safety check work done in my new flat. Rob was very thorough and efficient and completed the work promptly. Recently I needed some additional sockets and light fitting installed as well as a new control panel on my central heating system. Again a first-class service carried out in a very friendly, helpful manner. When I had a problem initially with my new central heating panel, Rob came around within 15 minutes of my phone call to him at 9pm! Thoroughly recommended.

We needed remedial works done so that an EICR could be issued before we moved into our new house. We wanted to move in before Christmas so I contacted a ridiculous number of electricians in hope that someone would be able to help us - I had a handful of people come to look at the property and quote for the work; Rob was the second person to visit, I was impressed by how knowledgeable and friendly he was and had pretty much decided at that point we would be using his business. When the quote for the work came through, I was pleasantly surprised - Rob had actually listened to my requirements and quoted for the work to reflect them; his quote was very reasonable, especially considering the short notice! When the work was carried out, Rob and Chris were both efficient and tidy workers - I was expecting to have to clean up when the job was done but there was no need. We needed a new consumer unit and an electric vehicle charging point installed. Rob turned up as promised and did a very thorough job checking every electrical outlet and light throughout the house before installing the new board. Once completed he installed an EV charger for my car and ensured it was set up and tested before leaving. Very happy to recommend.
