After a disastrous Phase 1 renovation with a previous builder, I approached the rest of the project with significant apprehension. Extensive research led me to Bush Builders, led by David and Rick, and hiring them was the best decision for my home. From the start, David and Rick were practical, straightforward, and highly professional. Phase 2 involved changing the front of the house, renovating a powder room, and building the foundation for our extension. We uncovered several surprises, but the team handled every challenge seamlessly and without fuss. They then completed the final, most ambitious phase: the spectacular kitchen/dining extension. This included installing a huge 6m bifold opening and raising the garden level for a patio, perfectly achieving the sought-after inside-out feel. The project was managed flawlessly, with constant updates. The end product is fantastic and executed to an incredibly high standard. Bush Builders ticked every essential box: they are practical, organised, deal with issues promptly, finish on time, deliver a high standard, and are fair on pricing. I wholeheartedly recommend David and Rick and their team for any building work, from simple renovations to complex extensions. They are true professionals.

Bush Builders have just completed for us a complete kitchen/utility room renewal, the replacement of French doors with a smaller window and the installation of new internals doors throughout. The work was completed to a very high standard, on time and to budget. The house was left clean and tidy each day and all steps were taken yo ensure that we were happy with the work. We would recommend Bush Builders without hesitation.

We have used Bush builders twice now. Once for a full home reno and more recently to do our patio. They are a fab company to deal with. Dave genuinely strive to make sure you are happy as a customer and is always around to contact. Then we had Rick and George doing the work in the house. Both really nice, highly skilled guys. Found on Google search. Their work is of an exceptional standard and we were kept fully informed of the daily programme. Often trades don't turn up and no reason given which is very frustrating. With Bush Builders we were kept fully informed by telephone or message. Well done a very nice job. Now onto the next phase.

Really happy with the work carried out to change the layout of my small house and also put in a downstairs cloakroom and shower on gf. A wall was taken down to open up the gf. New walls constructed, drains put in plumbing of new suite and tiling and painting. The small kitchen was made open plan to the lounge diner,exterior doors removed to construct a window opening. Many electrical points were added and a waterproof laminate flooring laid to the whole downstairs. I was out of the country when the majority of the work was carried out. I knew weekly what work was scheduled. I was kept up to date if problems occurred. Dave and Rikki came up with solutions and discussed with me first a way forward. At the end of the week a video was sent to me to show progress. The house has had major updating and it feels more modern.

We were recommended this builder because he had done a wraparound on my old street so when I moved to a bungalow, we decided to use him. The work down, was an extension out the back and down the side, removal of an old garage and a new bathroom. The quality of the work by the roofers, brickie and (Decorator) were fantastic. The owner Mr Bush (Dave) was very contactable and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and any issues or problems that arose were rectified very quickly. I would recommend this building company.

Bush Builders recently completed a ground floor rear extension to our house and we are so happy with the result. The whole team were fantastic - really professional, helpful and tidy, and they quickly found solutions to any problem that arose. Communication was excellent throughout. Thank you Riki and your team for transforming a rundown 1930s house It was like a bomb site at first but Your team worked tirelessly to refurbish it up nicely and make it into a family home, with new kitchen, bathroom, plastering, flooring, painting, full electric work, the firm is friendly reliable, honest and competitively priced.He also is good at communicating with us as a client.He also maintains communication after finishing the job I can highly recommend them to do your building work. Bush Builders did an amazing job at giving me the living space I really wanted. My kitchen before was really tiny and not fit for purpose. I wanted a larger kitchen and a good social space. I had in mind what I wanted knocking down an internal wall and opening up the space, but Dave, Rickie and the team made it happen. They advised me throughout, kept in constant communication, they worked really quickly and to budget. There were several tradesman with different specialisations, and they all did a fantastic job. The quality of the workmanship was outstanding.

I wanted to create a new bathroom upstairs as there was only a small one downstairs. Dave's team overcame the challenge of running the new pipework and creating a fantastic space for my new bathroom. I am so pleased with the results, it looks sleek, clean and one of my favorite parts of the house. They did a great job.

Bush Builders managed and carried out the renovation on our newly purchased house. The house itself is very old and needed everything doing. We had a chimney removed, several walls removed/rebuilt with steels throughout and plastered. The whole house was rewired and re-plumbed plus a new kitchen fitted. Dave and Rickie were very patient with us as we changed our minds a lot and there were many unexpected finds along the way. The quality of their work was great and we would highly recommend.

Bush builders did a great job replacing a ceiling in our house along with adding extra joists and insulating. Their professionalism was evident from our initial meeting which was further backed up with the competitive quote they provided and the extra care they took to make sure we had the right type of sheep's wool insulation for the job. It only took a few days to do the whole thing and they left the room as clean as possible after such a messy job.

I found Bush Builders through my neighbour who were having renovations, they highly recommended them. From my first interactions I knew they were professional. Communication was great throughout, we corresponded often and I always knew what stage we were at with the build. We worked out a budget and schedule, talked through the plans, but they were also very flexible with any changes. I had a lot of problems with my architect, initial designs and calculations, but Dave’s team were absolutely fantastic at navigating this and coming up with a plan. My structural Engineer was so impressed with Tom’s work he wanted to employ him too! I also have to give a shout out to Rickie, and Simon, but everyone did a great job. Dave also really supported me through navigating Building Control, new regulations and standards. I do not think many builders would be so patient and accommodating. The building itself is 19th century so they came across a lot of existing problems with the walls, timbers, ceilings, they made everything new. I am so pleased with the outcome, the workmanship was outstanding. The guys were so friendly, helpful and clean, they addressed any questions I had and responded really quickly. I am really pleased I chose Bush Builders and would highly highly recommend them to anyone in the area.

Dave, Ricky and the team have done an amazing job on our first floor extension and utility which has transformed the back of our house. All was completed to a high standard and to budget, with any extras agreed beforehand. Dave and Ricky were always on hand to discuss next steps, as were any of the guys who worked on the project. Everyone involved was extremely considerate, respectful and polite, even our grumpy cat liked them! Bush Builders lived up to our expectations. From the moment we received the quote, Dave and team were always available for questions. Once work began, everyone on site was a pleasure ro host, as well as happy to advise on what they were doing and next steps. I was lucky enough to come across Bush Builders and his crew when looking for a renovation project. Out of the 6 builders i received quotes from, Dave was the only one with an honest and competent approach, even at the quote stage. He and his crew were amazing. The whole job was completed expertly and all along, every member of his team was professional and courteous. Everything you would want from a building company, and the finished job was excellent. I will definitely want more work done and would recommend him to anyone.

I can thoroughly recommend this company. We had a front extension and a new frontage was created. Dave and Ricky’s team were brilliant. The tradesman, Vernon, Sam and Phil were excellent and the bricklayer, Carl, did an exceptional job that helped totally transform the front of the house. All the lads that helped were pleasant and hard working. A great team. There were a few delays but the finished job was definitely worth waiting for.

Dave and his team were professional from the first interaction I had with them, during the implementation, and after. We had a cracked tile in our ensuite bathroom which led to mouldy plaster board. They removed the whole tiles on the affected wall, replaced the plaster board and added new tiles. I also like the fact that I was kept in the loop during the work. I am well pleased with the work which was to the agreed schedule and budget.

We wanted to have minor cracks to the render on our house repaired and the whole exterior repainted. Dave, Rick and George did a fantastic and very professional job, which included cleaning and resealing all the upvc soffits and fascia’s at the top of the house. Very happy with the result.

Work was started on time and finished on schedule to a vet high standard. Always on time, polite and leaving the rooms as tidy as possible. They organised other trades (plumbers, electricians) and informed us who and when they were coming. The quote was clear and any extras were added to bills with our knowledge. We were invoiced as the work progressed. There were a couple of things that needed adjustment after finishing and they returned promptly. I would definitely use Bush Builders again and would recommend them (in fact I already have)

Contacted Dave as I had been let down many times. The visit was prompt and within 2 days gave me a quote. Started work two weeks later and finished within the time he told me. The work was excellent and the staff were very good. I will be getting them around for some other work in my house. The pricing was good and excellent timekeeping. They did go the extra mile for me.

Dave and the Bush Builders team did a great job of building our kitchen extension enabling us to transform our cooking and living space. The team are highly skilled with a wealth of experience. The construction and finishes are of a high standard and we are very pleased with the results. From our first interactions with Dave he instilled confidence in us that he understood what we were trying to achieve. Our plans changed several times through the COVID period meaning that the time from our initial contact to actually starting the work was extended beyond our original plans. Dave amended plans accordingly and we never felt rushed into making a decision. Work commenced on time and each of the trades people were respectful of our property and excellent on their field. I cannot speak highly enough of Dave and the team. Highly recommended.

Due to my wife suffering a spinal injury, we had to have our home extended to accommodate a wet room, and a dining room, as our existing dining room is now my wife's living room. We had no idea which builders to use in order get this work done, but after reading reviews on this site and also Redbridge Councils list of approved builders, we decided to go with Bush Builders. We are so happy that we chose Bush Builders. Dave and Ricky Bush were easy to deal with and the team they put together to do the work were excellent. They designed the work using their vast experience in the building trade which we appreciated very much. My wife's occupational therapist was impressed with the design of the wet room which meets all of my wife's needs. I would recommend Bush Builders to anyone we will be using them again for future projects.

We tasked Bush Builders to build our large extension and they done this perfectly, to budget and bascially to time as well, even through covid and material cost increases etc) The entire team are knowledgable, punctual and efficient and even changes made by us were no real problem and they are a great honest team who we have enjoyed to have around. We would have no problem recommending them for any works that you need doing, our project was a large one but they have the team in place to handle any job that you need completing with no problem at all.
