Bush builders did a great job replacing a ceiling in our house along with adding extra joists and insulating. Their professionalism was evident from our initial meeting which was further backed up with the competitive quote they provided and the extra care they took to make sure we had the right type of sheep's wool insulation for the job. It only took a few days to do the whole thing and they left the room as clean as possible after such a messy job.

I found Bush Builders through my neighbour who were having renovations, they highly recommended them. From my first interactions I knew they were professional. Communication was great throughout, we corresponded often and I always knew what stage we were at with the build. We worked out a budget and schedule, talked through the plans, but they were also very flexible with any changes. I had a lot of problems with my architect, initial designs and calculations, but Dave’s team were absolutely fantastic at navigating this and coming up with a plan. My structural Engineer was so impressed with Tom’s work he wanted to employ him too! I also have to give a shout out to Rickie, and Simon, but everyone did a great job. Dave also really supported me through navigating Building Control, new regulations and standards. I do not think many builders would be so patient and accommodating. The building itself is 19th century so they came across a lot of existing problems with the walls, timbers, ceilings, they made everything new. I am so pleased with the outcome, the workmanship was outstanding. The guys were so friendly, helpful and clean, they addressed any questions I had and responded really quickly. I am really pleased I chose Bush Builders and would highly highly recommend them to anyone in the area.

Dave, Ricky and the team have done an amazing job on our first floor extension and utility which has transformed the back of our house. All was completed to a high standard and to budget, with any extras agreed beforehand. Dave and Ricky were always on hand to discuss next steps, as were any of the guys who worked on the project. Everyone involved was extremely considerate, respectful and polite, even our grumpy cat liked them! I would certainly recommend Bush Builders to anyone looking for high quality work and would use them again myself. Can’t fault them!

Bush Builders lived up to our expectations. From the moment we received the quote, Dave and team were always available for questions. Once work began, everyone on site was a pleasure ro host, as well as happy to advise on what they were doing and next steps. I was lucky enough to come across Bush Builders and his crew when looking for a renovation project. Out of the 6 builders i received quotes from, Dave was the only one with an honest and competent approach, even at the quote stage. He and his crew were amazing. The whole job was completed expertly and all along, every member of his team was professional and courteous. Everything you would want from a building company, and the finished job was excellent. I will definitely want more work done and would recommend him to anyone.

I can thoroughly recommend this company. We had a front extension and a new frontage was created. Dave and Ricky’s team were brilliant. The tradesman, Vernon, Sam and Phil were excellent and the bricklayer, Carl, did an exceptional job that helped totally transform the front of the house. All the lads that helped were pleasant and hard working. A great team. There were a few delays but the finished job was definitely worth waiting for.

Dave and his team were professional from the first interaction I had with them, during the implementation, and after. We had a cracked tile in our ensuite bathroom which led to mouldy plaster board. They removed the whole tiles on the affected wall, replaced the plaster board and added new tiles. I also like the fact that I was kept in the loop during the work. I am well pleased with the work which was to the agreed schedule and budget.

We wanted to have minor cracks to the render on our house repaired and the whole exterior repainted. Dave, Rick and George did a fantastic and very professional job, which included cleaning and resealing all the upvc soffits and fascia’s at the top of the house. Very happy with the result.

Work was started on time and finished on schedule to a vet high standard. Always on time, polite and leaving the rooms as tidy as possible. They organised other trades (plumbers, electricians) and informed us who and when they were coming. The quote was clear and any extras were added to bills with our knowledge. We were invoiced as the work progressed. There were a couple of things that needed adjustment after finishing and they returned promptly. I would definitely use Bush Builders again and would recommend them (in fact I already have)

Contacted Dave as I had been let down many times. The visit was prompt and within 2 days gave me a quote. Started work two weeks later and finished within the time he told me. The work was excellent and the staff were very good. I will be getting them around for some other work in my house. The pricing was good and excellent timekeeping. They did go the extra mile for me.

Dave and the Bush Builders team did a great job of building our kitchen extension enabling us to transform our cooking and living space. The team are highly skilled with a wealth of experience. The construction and finishes are of a high standard and we are very pleased with the results. From our first interactions with Dave he instilled confidence in us that he understood what we were trying to achieve. Our plans changed several times through the COVID period meaning that the time from our initial contact to actually starting the work was extended beyond our original plans. Dave amended plans accordingly and we never felt rushed into making a decision. Work commenced on time and each of the trades people were respectful of our property and excellent on their field. I cannot speak highly enough of Dave and the team. Highly recommended.

Due to my wife suffering a spinal injury, we had to have our home extended to accommodate a wet room, and a dining room, as our existing dining room is now my wife's living room. We had no idea which builders to use in order get this work done, but after reading reviews on this site and also Redbridge Councils list of approved builders, we decided to go with Bush Builders. We are so happy that we chose Bush Builders. Dave and Ricky Bush were easy to deal with and the team they put together to do the work were excellent. They designed the work using their vast experience in the building trade which we appreciated very much. My wife's occupational therapist was impressed with the design of the wet room which meets all of my wife's needs. I would recommend Bush Builders to anyone we will be using them again for future projects.

We tasked Bush Builders to build our large extension and they done this perfectly, to budget and bascially to time as well, even through covid and material cost increases etc) The entire team are knowledgable, punctual and efficient and even changes made by us were no real problem and they are a great honest team who we have enjoyed to have around. We would have no problem recommending them for any works that you need doing, our project was a large one but they have the team in place to handle any job that you need completing with no problem at all.

We bought our new home with the plan to completely renovate it and do a large two storey side and large single storey rear extension. After getting the plans drawn up and planning permission granted we spoke with 6 builders and we quickly narrowed it down to Dave as the one we wanted to go with. We felt comfortable with him, he seemed honest, straight forward and easy to talk to. The major work started in December , they worked through the snow that Christmas navigated all the problems with covid and building supplies. It was pretty much finished in the summer of 2021. We couldn’t be happier with the way it finished and it was just what we wanted. Dave was able to solve quite a few problems along the way simply through his years of experience but always kept us informed. He even managed to save us several thousand pounds after speaking with the planning officer (in person) and agreeing to a minor change to the depth of the foundations. Top man. I would highly recommend him and all of the guys that work for him. Definite five stars

We needed help from Dave and his team following some issues we had with our local council and the building inspector we had engaged from Assent Building Control. Dave went above and beyond to help us - and all at his own expense and also while he was on holiday. We have only positive things to say about Bush Builders and we really couldn’t have negotiated with the council without his help.

You really cannot go wrong when choosing Bush Builders for your project. Quality, price, responsiveness, friendliness of the team and ability to deliver on schedule are all first class. It's nearly 4 years since Dave and his excellent team completed a 2 storey home extension for us but the ongoing support and help Dave has and continues to provide since completing the job is worthy of another review. The quality of Bush Builders work is top class and you can rest assured that once the job is completed Dave will not walk away. Having that comfort and support from knowing he is there on hand should you need anything related to the job, really is invaluable. During the job, Dave was the most responsive tradesperson I've ever dealt with and that has continued even now during COVID and incredibly busy periods. He always returns calls 4 years later even though he really has zero obligation to do so, which cannot be said for many builders. He often arranges for the original team to return should we need any additional work and it's always great to see old faces once again! We will continue to use Bush Builders for any work going forward and have strongly recommended Dave to friends and family.

I just completed a house renovation with Bush Builders. It included everything from kitchen to bathrooms, to removing walls, new flooring, painting, etc. Upfront, I was provided with an itemised budget for each piece of work we wanted completed. We were still on budget at the end of the project. The communication from the team was great. Throughout the process they called/messaged regularly with updates and to ask questions before completing work if they were unclear of what I wanted. Overall, it was a great experience, the house looks great, and I would recommend them.

Bush Builders have been a pleasure to work with and their work is outstanding. They managed our single story extension and fitted our new kitchen whilst re-decorating our home as well. Having building work on such a large scale was scary for me and my wife however Dave, Ricky, Dan, Julian, George, Vern, Sam and Phil (sure I am missing a lot of the team) made the experience effortless. They were always on hand to help and were very professional. With a 12month old son they also worked around our needs and made sure our day to day living was not impacted. The finishing on the work was fantastic and I could not highly recommend them enough. Truly an honest team that is rare to find.

Bush builders helped with our house renovation. We needed a new plumbing system, boiler and radiators, new electrics and electrical board, all walls and ceilings plastered, a new bathroom, kitchen, a hatch for our loft and all new carpentry. Bush builders were very reliable and easy to get hold of. They contacted us within a day when we enquired about the job and came to our house to give us a quote very quickly. Dave and his brother were very honest about what work was needed and what would be best for now and for the future as we would like to extend in a year or so. When they started the work, they were very quick and the work was completed in the time scale they told us. If anything needed to be changed during the work, the team were quick to change things for us to make sure we were happy. If decisions hadn’t been made by us, they checked with us before doing the job, which we really appreciated. The tiling, plastering and carpentry work has been done to a very high standard. We’re really pleased with how the house has come together. Definitely recommend them!

We are so pleased we chose Dave and his team to complete our work. We had an extension built to house a new kitchen and then our old kitchen was converted into a separate downstairs loo and utility room. From start to finish the team have been excellent and the quality of work is very high. We were quite apprehensive about starting the project but any concerns or questions we had were dealt with quickly and it has been very straightforward. The whole team are very skilled and take real care in what they doing. Special mention though to Dan, George & Julian who did the kitchen fitting and internal work - it looks so good. I would say also that the quote for the work we had was both competitive and clearly set out so we knew exactly what we were paying for. If we need a builder in the future we know where to come !

When we first obtained planning permission back in January 2020, we contacted builders to get quotes as per normal. However, actually getting a builder to be interested in the work was almost impossible. We had only had two builders who feigned interest and one disappeared from radar and the other didn’t seem to want to stick to the plans. We gave up for a while because we couldn’t find anybody to quote. We asked neighbours for advice and we were given Dave Bush’s details. From that moment, things Improved beyond our expectations. He was on time, he listened and was honest about our expectations and we immediately felt that we could trust him. He was very helpful also when the person who drew our plans didn’t want to do building reg drawings. Dave helped us to find a new architect. We hadn’t had building work done for many years and based on that experience, we were not sure what to expect. We need not have worried. Dave’s team were excellent. Dan and George worked very hard and the standard of their work is very high. The rest of the team including the plasterers, electricians and roofers were all polite, hard working and tidy - and their workmanship is of the same high standard. From the first meeting with Dave until the last day of working, they impressed us with their punctuality, attendance and most importantly, the standard of their work. We would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Had single-storey extension and internal alterations. Had the usual cowboys give me prices and chit chat and then found Bush Builders. The Covid-19 emergency delayed the completion but still very pleased with the timetable of works. All the trades were well skilled. The chippy Tom, who did the timber for the flat roof, was known as millimetre he was so good. Can't complain about any aspect of the work and Dave made sure we were totally happy with everything the team completed. Would highly recommend Bush Builders for a quality finish on your building/alteration project. We would use them again without hesitation.

I used Bush Builders to carry out an extension to my property. Prior to using Bush Builders I invited others builders some promised the world, some priced the job really cheap and others far too high. Having found Dave through Which? I felt reassured of their credentials and asked him to come and visit. He came on the day and time we agreed and from our initial conversation I had a very good feeling about his company. As I have never undertaken any building projects before I had loads of questions which Dave went through with me in detail. The quote he provided was very reasonable, the quote included a breakdown of where the money was being spent. After agreeing with the quote and a start date for the work, he got his team started on the work. Every single person who worked on the extension was really helpful and nice. The standard of work was very high. Whenever any problems occurred Dave was always on hand to help without fuss and without asking for extra money!! There was always a solution to a problem. The build was completed on budget and on time. Based on my experience I also asked Dave to fit out the kitchen - again this was done at a very reasonable cost and at a good standard, whenever I changed my design plan or alterations the guys Dave used never got annoyed or angry unlike some other builders who are just in a rush to finish a job and move onto the next. Even up to now I still contact Dave for various different house work small or big he has never let me down.

Had a Velux loft conversion done. The work was done to schedule and of high standard. Very pleased with the outcome! David gained my trust in using BB because he listened, understood, showed genuine care relieving me of the anxiety and stress I went through trying to get a builder to cater to my individual need. He's been a 'Godsent ' making a long awaited dream real. The team were brilliant, polite and friendly. They arrived on time each day and cleaned up after every task. BB are for keeps! Highly recommended!

We knew what we wanted in our heads but explaining this must have been confusing to Dave. The finished project was way beyond our expectations and can not thank Dave and his team enough for bringing to life our dream bookshelves. I feel extremely lucky finding Bush Builders. They were professional, prompt and open throughout the seven month process. I was always consulted and informed of any issues. The estimated cost rose as I kept adding quality fitments and changed the goalposts relating to the build. Dave the principle was easy to communicate with and always replied within the day to Any text messages or calls I made. Dave’s team were excellent and worked in harmony with each other. We asked Dave to build a single storey rear extension and we are very pleased with the end product. We found Dave's team professional, approachable and helpful. They were always happy to answer questions and explained each step of the process. We had our extension started in January and regardless of the weather they always worked tirelessly and at the end of each day they cleaned up after themselves. Brilliant builders, highly recommend! Bush Builders renovated the the ground floor of my house to make it open plan and fitted a large kitchen/utility area. I couldn’t be happier with the result. We were warned of potential issues before the build started and found them to be completely upfront and honest during the entire build. There were no hidden costs and the final bill was as expected. We decided to convert two rooms into one creating a kitchen / diner knocking a wall down and blocking off two doorways. After contacting Dave through Which trusted traders we were pleased with the quoted price and time schedule. Dave and his guys built us a very large extension across the whole length of our house. One of the largest builds the team had done, and we couldn't be happier. Dave was realistic and is the only tradesman I have met who gets back to you each time you message or call. The guys are an established team and clearly work well together, minimising delays as much as possible. We are absolutely thrilled with our extension, quality of the work and all interactions with Dave and the guys Could not recommend strongly enough.

Dave and his team have built us a wonderful 1st floor extension that has made such a difference to out family home. The work was carried out with our budget in mind. The team were extremely aware of our private space and were courteous and hard working. Everyday they cleaned up before they left. We were hit with some bad weather but we were kept well informed and work carried on when the weather allowed them to. Have already recommended Bush Builders to our friends and will continue to do so!

We asked Dave and the team to complete a lot of work across the house and the garage, which included completely changing out two bathrooms, re-plastering a number of rooms in the house and converting the Garage. The work took around 6 weeks to complete and we are extremely pleased with the results. Throughout the time the team were in the house they were always tidy, polite and friendly. We were always kept up to speed with what was happening and any changes that we asked for were discussed and incorporated in to the job with ease. I would highly recommend them if you need some work done, and, in fact, have done so already to friends. Overall I found the price to be competitive, the work to be of a high standard and the team a pleasure to have in the house.

They removed a car port and part of a wall. Only took a few hours, but they were efficient, cleared up OK and arrived on time.
