Carl was great from start to finish. From the initial coming over to quote the work we wanted done he was happy to share ideas from previous jobs and give us alternative options on how we could modernise our home. Carl and his team removed a supportive wall separating our kitchen and dining room. Whilst also blocking up a back door and making it a window and blocking up two side windows and making the outside match the pebbledash of the house. They were on time every day and couldn’t be friendlier. At the end of every day they left the house tidy especially given the amount of dust created on the day the wall came down. Can’t fault the work done, everything has been finished off really neatly. I’d highly recommend Carl to anyone wanting work carried out and I will certainly be calling him next time I need something done.

I found Carl online and needed a complete refurb of a property that is for rent. My main issue is that I needed this work done remotely without me being able to come to the UK. This means that I thoroughly appreciated Carls great communication skills that gave me the trust to transfer money without having even met him. Carl redesigned the kitchen without any effort on my part and then proceeded to redo the entire flat with new flooring, painting, ceilings and electrical. I have seen the pictures and they look great but my letting confirmed to me that the flat looks wondeful. This was all done in a very short period of time with no delays (Total about 3 weeks). I think Carl is slightly more expensive than offer offers I received but I do think in this case you get what you pay for and i am very pleased with the job done.

Carl and his team are very hard workers, very polite and efficient. They did a wonderful job in our bungalow. Removed chimney and fireplace, kitchen was extended and that included fitting a lintel. Put in en-suite toilet, with roof light tunnel. New bathroom suite plus tiling. Great job done. Carl comes up with good ideas, and is very helpful. On first impression Carl and his team showed nothing but professionalism and a real problem solving attitude in helping determine how to re-construct stairs in our 125 yr old home. Carl and Rob did an excellent job of renovating my bedroom, and decorating the hall, stairs and landing. They were always prompt and friendly. Any problems that arose were discussed fully with me. Am very pleased with the results and would recommend them.

Carl and his team refurbished our kitchen in 2022 (May - Jun). We found Carl via Which Trusted traders and asked him to provide a quotation. He was patient with us through the quotation period as our proposed design developed and ultimately changed, providing useful insight. Carl and his team commenced as planned and made excellent progress. He worked on our project exclusively and he was very helpful and supportive during the build as and when bumps in the road become apparent. He kept us updated and informed throughout. He is clean and tidy and very friendly even with our two young kids asking him millions of questions. We would not hesitate to recommend him to others or use him again for any future projects we may have.

Carl Dingle and his team renovated my kitchen in 2020 and my bathroom in April 2022. I asked Carl back to renovate my bathroom as I was so happy with the kitchen. The team were at the site everyday and were polite and worked hard. I am very happy with the results.

Carl and his team arrived on the agreed day and had made great progress by the time I got home on day one. All the work was completed inside the expected time and to a good standard. We are very happy with the work he completed and we are now going to use his decorators to finish the job. Very friendly team and house cleared up at the end of each day. Carl & his team recently completed a single-storey extension that also incorporated a shower room. Carl kept us updated every day & dealt with queries and requests with grace and good humour! He was friendly, as were all the team, helpful and polite. We are pleased with our extension and are enjoying the extra space which is light and airy. TOP TIP: Speak to Carl before you submit or get any plans drawn up. We did already have plans that we had submitted before initially contacting Carl. He came up with the suggestion of a vaulted ceiling which we liked so much we amended our plans to incorporate this and are so glad we did as the room looks great even on a dull day. All snagging issues were dealt with promptly. Carl and his team worked hard to complete the project in all weathers and he delivered on his promise. Thank You, Carl & Team.

Nice bloke, did a good job. Very pleased with the roof. Took about 3 weeks from the scaffolding going up to the scaffolding coming down.

We had a kitchen extension and a new fully fitted kitchen done by Carl and his team. The end product is beautiful. The work is high quality and communication and project management worked effectively to deliver a great end product

Carl did an excellent job replacing our front window and bricking up the bottom half. He was professional, courteous and the workmanship was of a very high quality. Would highly recommend.

Carl and his team carried out an internal renovation of our house: removing an interior wall, chimney breast and replacing a flat roof. The work was all to a very high standard and Carl managed to ensure the building inspector approved an much tidier solution for our chimney stack than that they initially suggested which really helped make the most of our space. They completed the work on time and any amendments to the original quote price were well explained and agreed.

We have used Carl for other work in the past which is why we considered him for this project...we weren't disappointed. The quote was clearly laid out and the final price charged was as quoted. Despite some issues with staff illness that could have affected the timeline for completion, Carl's team finished ahead of schedule. The work was completed to a high standard and the site was left clean and tidy.

Carl arrived to quote the day after I contacted him and quoted for two jobs one of which we changed our mind about. He was very understanding and very quickly came back and laid a concrete ramp. He was very happy for me to change his original ideas and completed a job we are very pleased. My wife can now walk in from the garden without my assistance.

After using C Dingle Builders last year to convert our double garage into a kitchen, we were so impressed with their high standards of work, we asked them back this year to create a very large sandstone patio across the back and side of our house. We are extremely happy with the outcome, they have a great eye for details, very professional, friendly, tidy onsite and nothing is too much trouble for them. We would highly recommend their work and are planning to use them again in the future when we are ready to start work on our driveway. I have nothing but praise for the work which Carl's team have carried out on my house. It was primarily exterior painting of the renderings and Mock Tudor style oak wood panels but also replacement of chimney pots and some oak sills and also some minor plumbing issues. The rapid response on our first contact was excellent and Carl ensured that the job could be completed in the good conditions in August. A very detailed estimate of each separate job offered flexibility as the work proceeded where minor change was made (e.g. additional re-pointing of chimneys, and removal of another item where I changed my mind). Dates were given, and all those involved turned up on the appointed date. Scaffolding: erected and removed exactly as planned. Painter Janni: worked tirelessly over very long days, thorough in all respects - his preparation, painting and clearing up could not be faulted. Dean's work on the chimney equally efficient. All the team were friendly, polite and just 'got on with the job' with happy disposition. The cost was probably higher than it may have been with another builder but the extra is always worthwhile when the job is done with such ease and efficiency. I was impressed too that no initial payment was requested until the job was well underway, and then final payment when all work had been completed. That is rare these days - and builds respect and trust from both sides.

We had a new kitchen and bathroom fitted. As well as some odd jobs. It wasn’t cheap but the work was all completed on time. The decorator in particular was very good.

The job was re-decoration of the kitchen and the downstairs toilet, which included a plaster re-skim to the toilet due to the condition of the walls. The plasterer made a really good job of the walls and was in and out in one day. Janni was the painter and he was meticulous to detail and very careful in painting. Both workers were highly skilled, but friendly and helpful too. They arrived promptly each day. The mess was minimised throughout, and at the end of each day the house was cleaned up in a way that you hardly knew work was taking place. The work was finished in four days. Carl and his team performed a good, professional job for us and we would not hesitate to recommend them.

Carl & his team recently installed a new boiler, and totally revamped our kitchen and utility room. Carl was really helpful at the planning stage, suggesting ways we could keep costs down & even introduced me to a kitchen supplier (Reigate Kitchen Company) who beat previous quotations I’d had for the kitchen units & appliances. Communication throughout the project was excellent. I knew exactly who was coming & when. Everyone in Carl’s team was friendly, tidy, professional & a pleasure to have in the house. The finished kitchen is even better than I’d expected. I would recommend Carl without hesitation.

We used C Dingle Builders to open up a kitchen / diner, re-purpose our lounge into a cinema room and decorate the new space and hallway and landing. Carl and his team worked diligently throughout the project. Early on we ran into problems with the structure of the house and they worked hard to find solutions. The team provided us with ideas and communication throughout was excellent. The finished project is exceptional, with great attention to detail. We are incredibly pleased with the quality of workmanship by all the trades. Carl worked on the project himself and, along with Dean the carpenter, they made sure everything ran smoothly. Carl and his team have just completed a very challenging extension to our Victorian house. He came highly recommended from our next door neighbour , who he completed a similar project for Carl worked closely with us to try and keep the project on budget and was proactive in help make savings and adding value where it was possible. Don't wast you money on architects. Spend it on your house! The quality of the workmanship can not be faulted and the work was completed on time as was promised. Carl and his team have just created a granite sett ramp to our drive and resurfaced the drive. The job had some challenges due to the slope and need to prevent rainwater coming from the road. The finish is excellent and the team took care to ensure the levels for drains and ironware matched up. The team was efficient and very helpful. They kept us well informed of timing and the price options for our tight budget.

I have been planning My dream kitchen for a while but been let down by trades before so was quite nervous. Carl and his team were friendly and efficient. Communication was good throughout and I am really happy with the end product. I really would recommend Carl and his work.

I wanted to update the living area of my house, to brick up a window in the kitchen,knock down a chimney breast in the lounge and square an arched door way (which I’ve hated for years). I asked five builders to price the job for me to get a comparison of prices. Two builders I still haven’t heard back from, and one was an outrageous amount. A friend recommended Carl and his team to me and I wasn’t disappointed. He explained his fees to me very clearly and talked me through every step of the job.The job was booked to take approximately three days. They turned up on the day, at the time stated, they put in a whole day’s hard work and didn’t keeping nipping off to other jobs. The team were lovely (Carl,Dave and Dean) They even looked after my dog when I went to work. We were so happy that we found extra work for them to do. They ended up replastering five walls and three ceiling, Dave is a brilliant plaster, very smooth finish. They tided up every evening before they left. Carl and his team did a fantastic job renovating our basement. Including installing a new bathroom, kitchen and installing two windows, reflooring, rewiring, removing a fireplace which wasn't expected, installing oak, skirting boards, windowsills, doors and doorframe. Carl kept us informed throughout the renovation, coming up with ideas to help us cut costs where he could. He and his team arrived everyday as and when they said they would and were extremely tidy - everyday they would ensure that the workspace was spotless ready for coming in the next day. I would not hesitate to recommend Carl and his team and would definitely have them back again.

Carl and his team transformed our house, knocking the dining room and kitchen into one light and bright open-plan space with beautiful bifold doors. They replaced the ancient boiler, fitted a wonderful Benchmarx kitchen, decorated inside and out. The quality of all work was excellent and Carl was a constant source of great ideas - I was unsure what we needed and he offered great options which he knew would be within my budget. But most of all his team was a joy to have in the house - polite, tidy, hardworking. I had to be away unexpectedly during the works and I had no concerns about leaving them to it. As a Which member, I came across Carl Dingle’s details on this website which has a rigorous vetting process. After seeing previous work that Carl had completed; my entire family (kids included) had no doubt in our minds that Carl would be our builder of choice. Carl’s services are truly FIRST CLASS, and given that there is so much distrust between homeowners and builders, it is vitally important to share with others when you’ve had a very good experience. For me, it's important to like the builders you decide to work with as they are going to be in your house for a period of time! We got on instantly with Carl and team; Dean, Shaun and Mike are true professionals; the workmanship is faultless. They built our loft as if it was their own and had lots of helpful advice based on their experience. ‘Attention to detail’ is Carl's ‘modus operandi’; and I certainly received that throughout the build from Carl and his team. To have a builder that delivers quality work in ALL areas including; project management, plastering, carpentry, electrics, plumbing, painting and decorating (the list goes on) is an exception and unfortunately not the norm. The private company we used for Building Regs and the Architect that produced our plans were all equally very pleased with the quality of the work; which is a big kudos to Carl and team. I would wholeheartedly recommend Carl’s services and intend to work with him again in the not too distant future.

Having used Dingle Builders recently for a Kitchen and Bedroom extension, we contacted them when we had to have the living room ceiling replaced due to a leaky pipe, totally unrelated to the work they had carried out previously. They fitted us in due to the urgent nature of the problem and carried out all the work needed, including fixing the plumbing very fast and efficiently. Again, excellent service, tidy, mindful of causing least possible level of disruption and excellent finish. I would highly recommend them, and will be using them again if we ever have the need. Top quality workmanship, service and aftercare. This is how all builders should be.
