We recently had a full re-roof completed by Cavan and Nick, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. From start to finish, the communication was clear, polite and professional. The workmanship is absolutely top notch. The project included a full re-roof on an Edwardian semi, new fascia boards and guttering, valley lead work and chimneys being repaired and and new lead flashing,as well as a tricky skylight installation. The finished roof looks fantastic. Great to see how clean and tidy they kept the site, sweeping up at the end of each day, and even making sure the dust didn't escape from the skip. All the neighbours commented on how professional they were.

Cavan managed the process from quote to install in a very professional way. We got great advice, knew what to expect, when they would arrive and how long it would take. On the day they arrived early, got the property set up, with everything protected and covered. They also made sure the outside was kept tidy, and left nothing behind. It was a professional installation, very clean, tidy, and dust free. Everything was done with a very high standard and eye for detail. We are delighted with the result, light in the darkest part of the house. Cavan is not only professional, but a gentleman. Would highly recommend

We had two Velux windows replaced in a bungalow dorma. Communication was great throughout the whole process and replies were always swift. Cavan from C&M Roofing Services contacted me within a day of my enquiry. Our problem was faulty guttering, which leaked constantly. We had lost count of the number of firms who had said they had fixed it, only to find it leaking again in a few weeks. Cavan asked for pictures and quoted us for the work. They came at the time promised, replaced the faulty guttering and cleaned up after themselves. Can't recommend them enough.

After searching Trusted Traders, C &M Roofing came to do a drone inspection of the damage to our roof caused by Storm Clara. (Our house was built in 1856 and my expectation was that we would need a complete roof replacement costing tens of thousands of pounds). Cavan said that wasn’t the case and gave us a very reasonable quote to put our roof and chimney stacks back into good order. This included the cost of 4 and 3 storeys of scaffolding front and rear. This was a huge relief and I felt that I could immediately trust this company. The work was finished yesterday and we are very grateful to Cavan and Nick for the quality of work and the professional manner in which it was conducted- including sweeping up after each day’s work! I wholeheartedly recommend this company which thoroughly deserves its 5 star rating!

We contacted C & M Roofing Service initially for some advice as we had black mould on our bedroom ceiling. Cavan identified the issue quickly and provided guidance as to how the matter could be solved. This was followed up with detailed written quotes and a recommendation which we found very helpful. The repair was scheduled for the week of 23 March and happened on time. We had a repair to our chimney, which was in a poor state of repair and to increase ventilation in the loft, new ridge tiles were put in place. No deposit was requested which was a surprise to us but also gave us confidence. Cavan was professional and built our trust immediately. Communication was excellent throughout the whole process and the workmanship is excellent. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I needed 6 velux windows replacing on a old, converted mill building. I'd put it off as its such a lottery to get a decent trade-sperson these days. Worries over. Cavan made everything straightforward from the word go. He was reliable, did what he said he would, when he said he would, and together with his work-mate, Nick, worked incredibly well without any fuss, finishing the 3-day job on time. An excellent job by C & M Roofing replacing a very old Velux window in our loft room which we'd been warned hadn't been in use for years. We knew we had found the right people for the job from the start, especially when Cavan came out and wasn't deterred by the narrow Victorian proportions and access issues. Nothing was too much trouble; the quote was very fair; and on the day, everything was done super efficiently leaving us with no mess. Delighted to have a window we can safely open and, even better, a room we can now use all year round! A quality job & happy to recommend C & M Roofing - thank you!

Can't speak highly enough of C & M Roofing Services - we had put off replacing 40 year old Velux windows because we didn't know who to ask to do the job and because we imagined it would involve a lot of mess and disruption - not least that we couldn't see how the job could be done without damaging the bathroom tiles! We found C & M Roofing Services through the Velux website and can see why they are recommended. They came when they said they would, they took precisely the two days expected, dust sheeted everything necessary in the house and cleaned up after themselves. Bathroom tiles are still as good as new! Everything cost exactly what we had been quoted with no hidden extras. We might hope not to need a roofer again ourselves but wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone else who does.

We invited Cavan to quote us on repairing two chimneys after seeing his good work on a house a few streets away. We have a 140 year old Victorian house and wanted someone with expert knowledge to repair them properly and sympathetically. We first met Cavan when he was working on a neighbour's property. He has since done a roofing job for our daughter and now for us. We are delighted with the Chimney work carried out by Cavan. This included repointing, replacing mortar caps around the base of pots, fitting ventilation cowls and air bricks on redundant flues and repairing flashings, etc. It has been completed as scheduled. The communication throughout has been prompt. He has been clear about dates and arrival times. He was very pleasant to have around and respectful of our property and that of our neighbours. I booked Cavan to replace my chimney stack in May and he began work on the pre-arranged date in October. Cavan and his co-worker are excellent time keepers. They’re friendly, polite and hard working. Cavan explained the ongoing work and kept me updated with its progress. They are very tidy workers and disposed of all the rubbish. The quality of the completed work is excellent. They even replaced two broken roof tiles which they found.
