Everything went very smoothly throughout, from initial meeting and roof survey (by drone) through erection and removal of scaffolding, replacement of roofing felt, battens and tiles to remedial work on the previously un-noticed (and not charged for) sagging in the porch roof. Skips were removed promptly and the site was left spotless. Cavan's concern for standards is exemplified by the fact that he returned for a final inspection once my solar panels had been re-installed by a third party. Everything happened on time and on budget. I would recommend without a momenbt's hesitation. Very happy client!

I needed a few different jobs doing on a Victorian property with a slate roof, including resetting ridge tiles, replacing a number of slipped / broken slates, repointing the chimney stack and repair to flashing around chimney stacks. Cavan / C&M came recommended by a neighbour and provided a quote quickly following a more detailed inspection. I also looked at his reviews on Which Trusted Trader, all of which were excellent. As it wasn't an urgent job (no leaks!) there were a few months lead time which I took as a good sign if he was in demand. The scaffolding went up a day or two before the job started and was removed a day or two after completion. Cavan worked up there on the hottest days of the year so far and helped me with any questions I had and made sure he'd done everything I needed. There were no unexpected additional tasks and the final invoice was exactly as quoted. Cavan and team were really friendly, approachable and hard-working, they never stopped from start to finish. If all trades people were as good as C&M Roofing the world would be a happier place. We had tiles replaced on an extension roof as the original ones were the wrong size for the slope of the roof. The rendering on the dormer was cracked and water logged causing leaks and this was replaced with shiplap cladding which perfectly matched the paint work of the house. The facias and barge boards were fitted with cloaking boards and dry verge caps were fitted to the rear gables. The work was done to a very high standard and Cavan and Jake were friendly, knowledgeable and so hardworking. The work was slightly delayed due to the awful weather but the quote held and we were kept informed at all times of any delays. At the end of each day everything was kept tidy and secure. And the work comes with a five year guarantee against water ingress. I would highly recommend this company.

C+M were recommended by a friend. We have a tall old Victorian house and had a significant leak from a velux installed in the 1970s. Cavan surveyed the roof with a drone and identified the problem and some other roof problems which needed maintenance. He gave us a quotation which he kept to. He arranged the scaffolding which was erected the day before the work started. The work seems excellent and he did other work only after discussion and quoting the price. C&M provided a quotation to renew the mortar verges and repair the guttering on my property. The work has now been carried out to a visibly high standard. Cavan is a true professional, taking huge pride in his work and customer service. We had been trying to find someone to help with a leak in our roof which was causing damp and mould in one of the bedrooms. Cavan (C&M Roofing Services) came out within a few days to assess the problem. He explained the issue and did a temporary fix, as he couldn't fit in the work for a few weeks. That stopped the water coming in and then, true to his word, he came back a few weeks later to do the job. Cavan sent photos of the work he had done and his quote for the project was very reasonable. We are so pleased with the results and have no hesitation in recommending him.

Cavan carried out a complete roof repair, chimney stack and fitted a velux window. Even when he had the weather against him, he stormed through to completion. He was always on time, completely reliable and his work was completed to a high standard. He also had great communication, explaining each stage of his work and advised and provided us with options. I contacted Cavan of C M roofing to quote for a damp problem on two chimney stacks at our home. After two punctual visits (the second using a drone) he advised me of the problem and the work involved to remedy and provided a detailed quotation which mirrored the invoice after the work was completed. Cavan gave me a start date and organised scaffolding. He also kept in touch in the period up to the start date and while doing the work gave daily feedback. I asked Cavan to refit the ridge of our roof, which had slipped during the high winds earlier this year. He also resolved some other issues that had been bothering me for a few years. Cavan has just completed a new roof and a rebuild of the chimney for us. Where do I start? He is very polite and listens very carefully to what you require and offers advice where needed. He is somewhat of a perfectionist and definitely knows his trade as we discovered when talking to him. His communication skills are excellent too, he responds quickly to emails and informs you of when the scaffolding and skip will arrive and be taken away. Where do I start, Cavan is professional, hardworking puts a full day in. We had sofitis, fascia, whole house guttering replaced. Loose tiles and realignment of our porch tiles. Fitted a water butt to catch rain. Worked to schedule and to original quote. We have had a lot of tradesman work for us in past 6 months and Cavan was outstanding I would recommend his services and would definitely use him in the future.

When I invited Cavan to take on the construction of a large roof with both pitch and flat features on a new build annexe I knew we would be in excellent hands as his previous work for us in the past had been of the highest quality. His installation of a reclaimed Welsh slate roof at our request looks wonderful and is complemented by the craftsmanship of the leading. After multiple problems with our roof over many years I was really happy to come across Cavan. It was a long job so it was a while before he could fit us in but it was well worth the wait. He and Jake work hard, are unfailingly friendly and polite and seem to gel really well as a team. He advised me when the scaffolding and skip would arrive (both arranged by him). He and Jake turned up on time and kept me up to date with developments. They tidied up every day before leaving. There was a bit of extra work needed doing on a chimney stack but he explained why this was necessary. The roof looks great and for once I won't be dreading the arrival of winter. Our first time using CM Roofing. Cavan arrived to look at the job on time and took a number of photographs of the chimney stack. He used these to describe exactly what the issues were and how he would fix these. A quote arrived the following day. Cavan explained that he was busy but gave a realistic indication when he would be able to start the job. Regular updates on timescales were provided on request. Cavan contacted us a few days before he started the job and arrived on the day promised. He is friendly and a good communicator explaining at every step what he is doing and why. We are very pleased with the repairs (CM Roofing) Caven and his colleague completed to our roof and cladding to the side of our loft dormer. We had a persistent leak which several roofers were unable to fix. Caven took a different approach to what others had proposed stripping out the old lead, tiles and cladding to the side of the dormer and reinstating the roof tiles with individual pieces of lead under each tile and underneath the new dormer wall cladding. New membrane, cladding and edging trim was fitted to finish a neat and competent job. Other works were undertaken to where the dormer roof connected with the main roof which were part of the problem. All old materials were removed from site and the garden/Astroturf was swept and left clean. The work was completed to a high standard just prior to a series of bad storms with heavy rain which was a good test and I’m pleased there is no sign of water engress. The scaffolding was organised by Caven and was erected on the day arranged. Communication was good and Caven kept me updated as to when the work would be undertaken. Whilst the work wasn’t cheap, this was quality workmanship, which was cost effective and value for money, undertaken on the date scheduled and guaranteed for 2 years. I have no hesitation in recommending Caven CM Roofing.
