C & M Roofing Services Ltd recently completed some repairs and upgrades on the roof and gutters of our property and I have been very satisfied with the work completed. From our initial contact, I found Cavan to be responsive in coming out to quote, answering emails and pro-active in setting a realistic date for the work that he could then stick to. When on-site, I found Cavan and Nick to be super friendly and professional and they work in a tidy, methodical manner and very clearly know what they are doing. We had a slipped slate and a blocked gutter downpipe on a large old house with a complicated roof structure. I have used C&M before several years ago. Cavan is very pleasant to do business with so I didn't think twice about contacting him again. On this occasion he first checked the entire roof with a drone and then quickly had a ladder up, cleared the downpipe and replaced the slate. All done within half an hour. I'm very happy with the service and outcome.

Cavan and Nick made various repairs to our roof and chimney. This was not a small job, as we have a huge house which is over 100 years old and has had very little work done to it. The job was on schedule and in line with the estimate. Both Cavan and Nick were punctual, pleasant, and, as far as we can judge, efficient (we have a 2-year guarantee on the work). Velux window replacement at a very reasonable price. Arrived early and worked very hard. Finished the same day. Excellent job and tidied up perfectly. Took all the detritus with them. Cavan even gave us a £120 discount because he had to postpone our job through no fault of his own.

C&M Roofing recently completed a large job at my home. All the fascias, soffits, barge boards and drainpipes were replaced, and a dry verge system fitted to the edges of the roof. The cladding on the dormer window was replaced, and a smaller job to replace barge boards on my outbuilding was also completed. I was very impressed with the quality of the job and the service I received. In particular, Cavan is an excellent communicator, he always let me know what would be happening and when, and was quick to respond to my questions by e-mail or text. While doing the job on the roof he also addressed some smaller issues that were noticed, for example replacing old mortar at the base of the chimney stack. He was very helpful in suggesting how the cladding on the dormer window could be re-designed in order to improve the appearance of the house. Both Cavan and Nick are very capable and reliable roofers and I would not hesitate in recommending them.

Cavan and Nick arrived on schedule. They were carrying out repairs to my roof in two places. The house was built in 1935, and there were several unexpected problems that Cavan took in his stride, where a less experienced roofer might well have made mistakes. The finished repairs look very neat. I definitely chose the right company, and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Cavan replaced a broken tile on my roof earlier today, he was on time and carried out the work extremely well. Very pleased with the end result, he explained what had happened to my original tile and replaced it with a great match.

Gavin came down on his initial visit to examine a reason for a leak on the pitched roof. He subsequently attended to remove, re-seat and repoint the ridge tiles throughout the whole roof. I was very impressed that he shared photos at various stages of the repair, evidencing the work that he had carried out. Gavan clearly takes pride in his work, and I would certainly recommend his company.

We had significant roof repairs to an old Victorian property in Sale. Our survey on house purchase indicated much needed doing... but Cavan and Nick exceeded expectations by keeping going until the "job was done". Starting on time and exactly as agreed, not only did they go beyond the written quote in repairing roof stacks and re-aligning the roof (!) - but they also repointed areas of the house we hadn't even considered, and worked well past their anticipated finish date to ensure all our house's roof quirks were fixed and secure. We were lucky that they had time and were also happy to fit in some extra jobs for us; such as a tricky velux window replacements and a quick re-paint job of woodwork. Both completed without fuss. Their quote was the highest of our three, but from the outset we could see Cavan's expertise and knowledge in his detailing of needed work. Looking back, we're really pleased we went with them as there were no hidden 'extras' - and on reflection - would say they were worth every penny. All in all - could not recommend them highly enough!

Cavan recently made a new chimney stack for our little cottage. He matched the bricks exactly to the existing ones and used blue engineering bricks to cap them off. The flashing was excellent too. We couldn't be happier with the final work which is admired by so many people who walk down our unadopted lane. He and his colleague were punctual, efficient and professional at all times. Everything went very smoothly throughout, from initial meeting and roof survey (by drone) through erection and removal of scaffolding, replacement of roofing felt, battens and tiles to remedial work on the previously un-noticed (and not charged for) sagging in the porch roof. Skips were removed promptly and the site was left spotless. Cavan's concern for standards is exemplified by the fact that he returned for a final inspection once my solar panels had been re-installed by a third party. Everything happened on time and on budget. I would recommend without a momenbt's hesitation. Very happy client!

I needed a few different jobs doing on a Victorian property with a slate roof, including resetting ridge tiles, replacing a number of slipped / broken slates, repointing the chimney stack and repair to flashing around chimney stacks. Cavan / C&M came recommended by a neighbour and provided a quote quickly following a more detailed inspection. I also looked at his reviews on Which Trusted Trader, all of which were excellent. As it wasn't an urgent job (no leaks!) there were a few months lead time which I took as a good sign if he was in demand. The scaffolding went up a day or two before the job started and was removed a day or two after completion. Cavan worked up there on the hottest days of the year so far and helped me with any questions I had and made sure he'd done everything I needed. There were no unexpected additional tasks and the final invoice was exactly as quoted. Cavan and team were really friendly, approachable and hard-working, they never stopped from start to finish.
