Lee from Cable Guys Nottingham visited our two-floor penthouse on 4 March to assess installing Ethernet cabling between floors. Because our apartment sits in the roof space of a tall block, it quickly became clear that running cable internally wasn’t going to be a simple or cost-effective job. Rather than just leaving it there, Lee went out of his way to help. He devised a temporary Ethernet solution that worked immediately, and also suggested a long-term alternative through a nationwide provider, which we installed successfully just two days later. What impressed me most was that there was no charge for the visit, and no financial benefit to Lee for the solutions he suggested. That is customer service at its very best. Friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. I would strongly recommend Cable Guys Nottingham to anyone.

From initial contact with Cable Guys they understood the requirements, pre-empted my questions and Troy did an excellent job on the day. The work was completed a little earlier than estimated so the final invoice was reduced to reflect this. Polite, professional, knowledgeable, highly recommend.

Troy attended our home to install a new TV aerial and the necessary cabling to a single entry point in our lounge. He was polite and efficient. A job well done. Total cost was £195 including vat.

Sue was super helpful in arranging Troy to come and give us a quote, actually listened to my communication preference (which is rare!). Troy was super friendly and polite when he came to give us the quote and arranged the work to happen very quickly. Turned up today and again was super friendly and helpful, did the work really quick and cleaned up after himself. I wanted to replace some very old aerials and amplifier with new ones plus an additional DAB aerial.After some relevant discussion the alternatives the new system was soon installed and working. I did have some problems getting all the DAB channels I should but a quick call for advice soonsorted it out.I felt nothing was too much trouble from the lady making the booking to the installer-theyjust wanted to do a good job.

Following 27 years of using various TV suppliers we had a jungle of redundant cables within the house and fixed to the outside. I had a recommendation that 'The Cable Guys' could sort it out for me. Following a phone call a visit was arranged which duly happened on time. The technician, Troy, was extremely polite and professional, taking all precautions in view of the prevailing Covid-19 requirements. Wasting no time, he was able to make sense of the tangle, sorting it out in the hour that had been estimated. Without hesitation I would thoroughly recommend the Cable Guys.

I just wanted to thank you for the work your Engineer did on his visit to my home yesterday. On arrival he immediately clarified the scope of the work with me, and then installed a new satellite dish on my gable end as requested. On checking the signal quality he advised me that I could get a better signal if he moved the dish slightly, and we agreed to do this. Once installed, he carefully ensured that the cables were routed out of sight and connected them to my Freesat box, leaving plenty of spare cable in case I moved the television at a later date. Your Engineer also removed my existing Television and FM aerials which were sited high on a rooftop chimney. In performing all this work he consulted me whenever a decision had to be made, and I now have a very high quality installation which gives me an excellent signal. Thank you for a job very well done, and it was a real pleasure to have used Cable Guys, who I will heartily recommend to friends and relatives.
