After Storm Darragh affected some slates on our roof and loosened the mortar torching underneath, Colin was helpful and prompt. He visited free of charge to inspect the roof exterior from the ground and roof interior from the loft. Spotted some minor repointing needed. Quoted me a very fair price if I wanted his team to spend a morning up on the roof checking each slate by hand, repairing the pointing, scraping off moss, and to provide a condition report for our insurer. He sent me the quote on headed PDF soon after, so everything was above board. I confirmed, and he arrived punctually with his labourers at the appointed time for the work a few days later. They were polite, finished on time, and tidied up after themselves. Afterwards, he sent the report and a proper headed invoice within the agreed timeline. Wish all tradespeople were like this!

We engaged Colin to address a persistent leak on our low-pitch roof and to explore options for increasing natural light in our kitchen. Colin was exceptionally helpful, offering honest advice. Despite our initial plan to install sun tunnels, he cautioned that the light gain might disappoint and recommended against it. He also inspected the roof’s pitch, confirmed the tiles were suitable, and noted they could be reused. Colin’s team began work the following week and completed the job over several days. The result is impressive, and they left the site spotless. While we haven’t yet experienced heavy rain, we’re confident the roof will keep us dry. We wholeheartedly recommend Colin and his team.

I arranged quotes from 4 companies before selecting CanDo Roofing. I'm so glad I did. The quote was very detailed. When Colin visited it was obvious he knew exactly what needed to be done and explained very clearly how and what they would do. No faffing with ringing managers or watching videos. No rubbish salesman bullshit. Trust me, I had plenty. I am delighted with the finished work. I had fascia guttering and a new flat roof. On top of the work in scope, I realised that additional work outside of the scope had also been done. Moss was removed from my roof tiles, and some roof tiles were replaced, which was not in the quote. A great job. I would highly recommend.

Cement from gable end dislodged and fell onto tiled roof below breaking tiles just as we were going on holiday. Unsurprisingly Colin not able to attend before we left so forwarded photos of damage and he confirmed would attend to works as soon as possible in view of possible water ingress. Upon completion of work, Colin forwarded photos of completed work which looked fine, and upon return from holiday, confirm that Colin had done a really good job. Appreciate the fact that first time we had called upon Colin's services and he 'trusted' us to settle his very reasonable invoice upon our return. His name is now on our own list of trusted traders and we will definitely seek his services again should the occasion arise.
