Colin and Dan did a first rate job back in November. We needed two intermittent leaks fixed. Colin did a proper assessment and costing. Dan turned up when arranged and did the work. I've waited this long before reporting to expose the repairs to unpleasant wind and rain. And the problems have been fixed!

Used them a number of times. They are prompt, reliable, tidy and thoroughly professional. It's comforting to know that if you've suddenly got a problem (as we had!), they would review, estimate and schedule repairs without any fuss or bother. They've always come in on budget (or under it!). Don't bother looking through the phone book call CanDo; you won't regret it.

I recommend CanDo Roofing for outstanding quality and reliability. They aren’t the cheapest, but they are the least costly. Colin and his team followed the wake of destruction of another roofer who created a catastrophic leak destroying freshly painted ceiling and plaster work, creating extensive damage, distress and inconvenience. Colin and his team are attentive, courteous, tidy and quietly go about their work like the competent tradesmen they are. Although clearly very busy, Colin spent much time trying to help resolve the issue before I had made any commitment to him. The roof was small but complex and the finished job is precise and elegant, showing the attention to detail that makes the difference (e.g. coating the lead with a patina preservative). CanDo roofing completed the work over two months ago. I have the confidence that Colin’s work is backed by a long guarantee and his determination to do a great job. Moreover, in the unlikely event there any problems “Which" will help. Had I engaged CanDo roofing in the first place I would have avoided months of distress, dripping plaster work and the Small Claims Court.

We had all our guttering redone. Colin came over to give us a quote. We had received 2 quotes from other companies but neither impressed me. Colin on the other hand was friendly and professional and sent us a full detailed quote (unlike a business card with a price written on it). The quality of the work was great, very impressed. Our neighbours (semi detached house) came over after the work was done complaining a down pipe was splashing water onto their flat roof. A thoroughly professional and personal service in a busy and congested space had a new, traditional slate roof with modern breathable felt and venting fitted as requested, safely and before winter set in. The roof looks the same and as good as it would have in 1850 and should last as long the original. I am very pleased with the work, the service and the resulting sound, weatherproof structure as well as the very reasonable final bill for a job of this size. I had previously used them to replace a flat roof on the rear of the property and would not hesitate to recommend Colin and his young team for this and any other conventional roofing work.

Colin responded with a visit and a survey on the same day that we 'phoned him. The repair was done on the day he promised-quickly and efficiently.

The job required a complete renewal of the roofing underfelt that had deteriorated over the years and allowed leakage into the loft space and rooms below. All the roofing tiles had to be removed and replaced either with the originals or new tiles where appropriate. Scaffolding was required both in my property and that of my neighbour's. All the work, including gutter removal and replacement where necessary, was completed quickly, cleanly and considerately. Where some additional work was necessary as a result of rotting and water damage, we were fully consulted and the additional cost was minimal. I was very impressed and would firmly recommend this company.

From the moment i sent Colin @ CanDo an email asking to come and look at a guttering issue the whole process was slick. In finding out what the problem was, turning up when he said he would and fixing the issue was 5 star. If anyone can do it, it's CanDo. Could not speak highly enough of them.

Colin's team worked on my large flat roof, including guttering. Gave good recommendations on what I needed (ie, part warm roof). Excellent guarantees. There was a small problem, which was fixed in a timely fashion with no quibbles. I recommend them.

Colin and his team did 3 small jobs for me: repairing/replacing 2 lead flashings and replacing some ridge tiles. They cured the leaks under the flashings but just as importantly they came and quoted when they said they would and did the jobs pretty quickly after quoting. In an industry with its share of cowboys it's nice to be able to recommend someone for good work and service.

Colin carried out two jobs for me. First was a repair to stop a leaking gully. Difficult to diagnose where water getting in. Colin tried to keep the costs down with a smaller repair, but when that did not work he replaced the whole gully reasonably. Second job was a rubber membrane flat roof replacement. Excellent job, looks so much better than felt.

CanDo replaced a large flat for me including adding in four new sky lights. It was far from a straightforward job, with what turned out to be an older roof hidden underneath the roof being replaced, and under that - rotten joists. Colin and the team dealt with it all in a pragmatic and timely way, despite it taking much longer than planned. A bargeboard on our house was blown down in a gale earlier this year. This meant roofers were very busy but Colin came round promptly and quoted a competitive price to replace the board. The job was completed quickly and efficiently. We were very satisfied with the work.

Colin and his colleague were organised, highly competent and advised us at all stages of the work when repairing worn areas of roofing felt. The finished product has cured the problem of leaks.
