CB Heating installed an air source heat pump with associated hydrobox, cylinder, and replacement radiators. The start of the installation was delayed by a couple of months because I didn't trust the installer who undertook the initial survey of the property. Being the Summer holiday period, it took a little more time to appoint another installer. The new installation team were fantastic. There was good communication between myself and the various teams at CB Heating throughout the entire process. Everything arrived at the start of the installation on 30-09-24, and was completed on 04-10-24, including replacing 8 radiators. The installers were courteous, clean, tidy, and explained this rather complex system clearly and thoroughly. I have a full set of operational documentation, and there is ongoing support for any queries I have. CB Heating are a very professional company

I had a heat pump installed and they were very professional from start to end. The heat pump Is working very well keeping my house nice and warm and the hot water nice and toasty hot. I am getting a COP of over 4 so far, so very please. Andy was very polite and clean on site and always kept us informed of developments.

Extremely professional and organised company. We had a heat pump supplied and installed by CB Heating in my son's house a year ago. Their design team and pre planning is excellent. They keep you up to date at all stages and support is given before, during and after the installation. I had an air source heat pump installed by CB Heating. There were several site visits to check site suitability. There was a description of work to be done, about 30 pages of explanations and questions mainly to ensure which equipment would be installed to give the required level of performance. The cost of the project was given and CB were helpful in explaining about which grants were available etc. My gas boiler and radiators were completely beyond use for a variety of reasons and a heat pump would be a good future proof investment. The work started and was completed in about 2 to 3 weeks. There were a few minor set backs, which is acceptable on a project of this size and were all sorted out. The installation was completed after the worst of the winter weather so I cannot give an answer on the performance other that to say that after the installation the hot water for the central heating, shower, and general hot water requirements were good and the HP indicated it had plenty of spare capacity. After install there were a series of heat pump failures and the onboard problem monitor did not help. Normally the system recovered before any body arrived, just a matter of days, but it is very difficult to find a problem after the problem has cleared. I had this again with several visits from CB and then a Daikin engineer from the manufacturer with another failure. Another CB engineer visited and found a sensor was loose in the tube that houses the sensor. This was the cause of the problem and not easy to find as said, it was always running / no faults showing. I like Daiken and have found their equipment to be very reliable. The system ran perfectly after this last trip. The HP heating was turned off during the summer using it just for hot water and everything was good. I recently noticed in October that it is getting chilly and turned the heating back on, all working OK. .

Installed an air-sourced heat as part of an Eco refurbishment of a 1930s bungalow. Great communication every step of the way to ensure that the plumbing , electrics and radiators would get the best out of the system. Heat loss was calculated for every room. Terrific attention to detail and a seamless install. Engineer carefully explained the operation of the system and things to keep an eye on. Getting great performance particularly in partnership with solar panels.

I had an air source heat pump installed, with all the associated electrical and pipe work. I also had my old gas boiler and my old hot water tank removed. I am happy with the work. the heat pump is working well and I have, so far, had no problems with it.

Heatpump system designed and installed. Extensive installation performed efficiently, cleanly and well. System works well. Friendly and knowledgeable employees. Training on use was brief, and timing not great as housebuild not yet complete so couldn't follow instructions immediately. Online instruction videos quite helpful, and backup support has been made available. Very happy overall.

Air Heat Pump System Installed and connected to existing Radiators

We arranged to have a new Daikin high temperature heat pump fitted to replace our old gas boiler. The survey and EPC check confirmed that with a high temperature heat pump we would not require any radiator or pipes changes due to the higher water temperature. The fit was very professional and the CB Heating fitters were all over the work which was planned to take a week. We had a slight delay to the completion due to the Daikin unit sent by the manufacturer being used and missing some parts. Toby Carter the CB Heating fitter was not happy with this and a replacement was ordered. Although promised by Daikin to arrive within a day, it was not received until the next week. The old equipment including gas boiler and tank were taken out and vent holes covered. The team were made available to finish the fit as soon as the replacement arrived and upon completion, removed all of the packaging and old equipment parts. The system was setup for us to provide hot water and my wife was given a run through the system controls. The CB Heating admin team kept in touch with us throughout the fit and were apologetic about the delay something which was beyond their control. The installation from start to finish was very professional and we were kept informed of what was happening all the time. We were provided with a full set of operating instructions and all the paperwork required for the installation. I am extremely happy with the heat pump installation and would recommend CB Heating as a great company to use for this type of work.

The work I had done was the installation of a new heat pump, boiler and pipework. CB heating turned up at exactly the time and date that they said they would. A team of three workers took around a week and a half to install the whole system, taking out the old oil boiler at the same time. The team worked professionally and efficiently and completed the job ahead of time and left the house clean. At each stage (before, during and after installation) CB heating kept me informed and up-to-date. They arranged the BUS certificate, did a heat survey and showed me all of the plans for the work. This is a very professional company - one of the best firms I have had experience of. I recommend them to any one who is planning the installation of a heat pump system. A definite 10 out of 10.

Design and installation of an air source heat pump system to replace the existing oil fired heating system. They surveyed the house to check on insulation and radiators and took into account specific needs of the shower supply. Insulation was over 4 days and included removing the old boiler and pipe work from the tank (not removed) and installing the heat pump, tank and connections to the hot water and radiator systems. Prior to installation they advised on the power upgrade needed and information on who to contact to get the work done. This was completed in advance of the installation.

Unlike other suppliers, I chose CB Heating as they were willing to come into the house, start the design work and then work with my builders who were renovating the property before I moved in. This ensured the correct sizes of radiators were bought, and the plinth to put the Air Source Heating unit on was put in the right place and was the right size with a soakaway beneath it as advised by them. The house was almost completed by the time the technical guys and electricians came to install everything. I had gas cut off from the house as I did not use it any anymore giving me an instant saving on the standing charge. So far, except for the odd really minor issue which was resolved very quickly, the system has worked perfectly for 5 months and I am very happy with it. Having fed back that one room gets a little chilly now and then, they are going to help me to check that the settings are correct as this should not happen. Whenever I have questions, they are quick to respond and help me. I can thoroughly recommend them - excellent customer service, great people who give clear advice and so far reliable equipment which is not overly noisy despite being right outside my bedroom window.

CB Heating were very helpful, patient and understanding dealing with me, an elderly single female who was struggling to obtain a grant from Energy Scotland.

I had been researching replacements for an old oil boiler that had started to leak and couldn't be repaired. With the government subsidy the cost of installing an eco-friendly Air source heat pump was a real option since a new oil boiler was going to be in excess of £5000. I noticed that CB heating had been installing heat pumps for quite some time and appeared to have a good reputation, so I made contact with them. CB Heating did a EPC site review of my 1970's house and they recommended a HT air source heat pump, meaning that no radiators would need to be replaced and less disruption, they presented me with a plan of where everything would go, the price quoted for the full installation came within budget and I asked them to proceed ASAP. I was given a date when components were to be delivered and when work would start, this was again confirmed closer to the time. The installation was completed within a week, all workmanship was to a high standard, the installation team were polite and always put family household needs first, so we were never without hot water. At handover I was shown how controls functioned, how to programme the system and given a good wedge of manuals, but told to just give them a call if I got stuck. I have to say that changing from oil to HT air heat source has been the best thing that we have done since fitting Solar EV panels and batteries, loads of hot water, toasty heating, the outside unit is quiet, neat and so much better than having a smelly oil tank on the patio which has now grown by 1/4 since the tank and screening was removed! I had a small issue with the system a few weeks ago, I contacted CB Heating and they sorted it within 24 hours, great service backup. Would I recommend CB Heating to fit an heat pump, well totally!

We used CB Heating to supply and fit a heat pump in our 4 bed bungalow through EDF . CB Heating we're very informative as to which type of heat pump we needed and kept us very well informed during the design phase. The engineers arrived on schedule and carried out the work with minimal disruption. The equipment they supplied is of a very high quality and so was the installation work they performed. All of the documentation was provided on a memory stick and any questions we had were promptly answered.

I had an air source heat pump installed but it wasn't installed by CB Heating. They used a local contractor Chris Griffiths Heating.

Had heat pump fitted, new hot water tank and all radiators changed. The office was always at the end of the phone but unfortunately installation was let down by poor installer. Eventually all work was completed to my satisfaction by another installer.

They were very efficient and knowledgeable Gave us lots of information and left it clean and tidy, it gave us the confidence that we had made the right decision. We have been very pleased with the change and reaping the benefits.

The works comprised the removal of my failing gas boiler and then the installation of a Daikin High Temp Epra heat pump. All my existing pipework, radiators, h w cylinder etc. remained untouched and incorporated into the new system. The approach from CB, the survey, the proposals were all quite straight forward including acceptance of the quote and the provision of the gov. grant. The contractors instructed to carry out the works were very good and quick (4 days). It remains to be seen how efficient/economic the system is through the winter months but I remain optimistic.....
