We hadn't heard of Ceiba before considering Solar and battery storage. However, Duncan proved to be highly knowledgeable in all of the technical aspects of the product, much moreso than other 'sales' people from other companies. The panels, microinverters and Tesla battery supplied by Ceiba are of higher quality and spec. than other companies which obviously make the price more expensive but we believe you get what you pay for. The installation process was fully explained to us by Duncan and we accepted that the battery installation would be delayed due to supply and demand issues with Tesla. Communication was excellent via Romina regarding the actual installation dates and we are delighted with the operation, performance and aesthetics of the panels on our roof.

Stage 2 of Solar PV system, and it was time for the battery installation. Having used Ceiba for the Solar panel installation I was more than happy to have them return to install the battery. Their Project Manager, Romina, contacted me about a week beforehand just to reconfirm that the date and time still suited me and to give me an expected time of arrival for the team. And as per the confirmation, the team, Simon, turned up as agreed. Prior to starting they chatted through what their plan was for the installation, explained that there would be a short power outage when they came to connect everything together and would give me plenty notice. Sometimes its just these little things that can make all the difference. The installation went smoothly and at each stage of the install Simon cleaned up as he went and when finished made sure I was happy with the installation. Simon then talked me through the intricacies of the install and ensured that I had all the information I needed to manage the system (App installed on phone, logged in and working correctly). When I am ready for Stage 3 I will definitely be using Ceiba Renewables.

It was a pleasure having this company install panels and a power wall. Everyone with whom we had contact was friendly and helpful and the installation was carried out exactly as promised. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them and their work.

What a brilliant experience from start to finish. East step was explained to us throughout the process from planning to installation. Very neat work and no mess to clear up. Very knowledgeable about the Powerwall. App shown to us and explained how to use. Would certainly recommend this company.

Ceiba lived up to their excellent reputation from start to finish. Duncan is an expert in the field and provided great advice at the planning stage. Supplier delays meant a long wait for the installation, but Ceiba were completely honest and open about the issues which was much appreciated. I have heard many stories of companies squeezing customers by increasing the cost, but Ceiba honoured their original quote despite rising costs. Trying to install solar panels in winter on our island location gave Project Manager Romina endless headaches with cancelled ferries, fully booked hotels and so on, but she worked tirelessly to keep everything on track. The roofing team did an excellent job in horrible weather, rather them than me! When the Tesla Powerwall and the other equipment finally arrived Simon & Andrew did a superb job, working round all the challenges, fuelled only by tea and scones. They were very tidy and took time to make sure we had all the relevant apps set up and knew how to work everything. Overall it has been an absolute pleasure dealing with everyone at Ceiba, the system we have has exceeded our expectations in terms of power generated. I can see why they have won numerous awards, I have recommended them to several friends and will continue to do so

Having researched what solar panels I wanted I found Ceiba Renewables who covered my area and came highly recommended. The demand for them was high but they managed my expectations of the timing of service delivery from the outset. The panels were installed before the power wall due to supply difficulties. They did an excellent job with no wiring down external walls, crawling about in the loft to make a very neat job. They also upgraded the safety of my electricity supply. The power wall has just been installed and all the account set-up for the app is done by Ceiba so that has simplified everything for me. Another neat job. With both installations, I got a good briefing on what had been done, how to operate the electrics associated with it safely and how to manage it via the app. They have been most helpful with advice and documentation and the crucial thing is that the price quoted is the price charged.

What a great experience working with Ceiba Renewables has been. From design to installation and handover first class. Tesla gateway and powerwall installation associated wiring is to the highest standard with many thanks to Simon. As a senior offshore commissioning engineer myself I am fully satisfied with the total process and would strongly recommend Ceiba renewables. I hope to use Ceiba Renewables again in the future to install additional solar panels. Duncan and staff many thanks, 5 star performance.

Communication was excellent from day one with regular updates. They were open and honest and managed expectations re install dates. Simon discussed all aspects of the install and even saved money from the original quote by suggesting i could switch to the standard Enphase gateway as the energy monitoring would be done by the Tesla gateway once the powerwall was installed. He also sorted out my untidy and potentially dangerous EV charger install. That's proper service and not someone there just doing a job but taking pride in their work and a genuine interest in their customer. A few weeks after install, a couple of panels failed due to a firmware issue with the built in microinverters (sunpower maxeon panels with enphase microinverters). This was resolved without issue and replacements were ordered and installed quickly. I initially contacted a few providers for quotes and while, on paper, Ceiba may not have been the cheapest, it is important to look at exactly what you are getting for your money and compare like for like. Not all panels and batteries are equal and so I was very happy with the overall cost of my system particularly factoring in the service received and the peace of mind afforded by the lengthy warranties. Every member of the team was friendly and professional. From the sales consultant/planner, admin team, scaffolders and electricians. I was delighted with every apsect and would have no hesitation recommending Ceiba to anyone.

Duncan and the Ceiba Renewable team were professional from the outset. Duncan provided clear information for the sizing rationale and planning permissions and overall process. His support team did a great job of keeping us informed of delivery dates and introduced us to Alastair who completed the groundworks (we have a ground-mounted array) as we couldn't find a suitable local supplier. Duncan quickly responded to identifying alternative panels when it became clear the supply of the original panels could be problematic. Simon and the electrical installation team were very professional and very tidy, checking with us any queries beforehand. We were very confident to leave them to it when we had a family crisis that fell over our installation period, and we were not able to be at the house for most of the time. We are very pleased with our ground array and Tesla Powerwall.

I have been really impressed by the level of service from Ceiba Renewables. The installation of a Tesla Battery, is probably the most professional piece of work that I have had done. The installation engineers could not have been more helpful, and provided a full explanation of how the system operates. I have no hesitation in recommending Ceiba Rnewables.

Excellent customer service from the team a Ceiba Renewables from start to finish. Throughout the entire process from the presales stage, collaborating and iterating on the requirements/design/quoting stage, to getting the pre and post commissioning process the team at Ceiba Renewables have been amazing and a joy to work with. They managed my expectations regularly with updates on the supply chain issues and high demand with realistic and accurate forecasts. Once the elements of the system arrived on schedule, the installation itself over the course of 3 days went really well. The team were amazing very knowledgeable and engaging. A standout part of the installation is they involved me on every small detail from the positioning of the components on the day applying rational to our decisions (in terms of any future expandability) and they were engaging with my questions as I built up my knowledge about the installation. Not every company or professional does this, but I am glad they did. Another important factor was as a team between the roofers and the electricians they worked well as a unit and delivered very neat work. Everything was completed ahead of schedule. Ceiba Renewables pride themselves on using quality products and the deliver a quality service and I can honestly say the team have lived up to their mission statement thus I have no hesitation to give them future business and would recommendation them to anyone looking for a quality installation.

Excellent service from all at Ceiba Renewables. Although not local to my area they were recommended by a friend in the village. Installation team did a great job. All went well without any issues. Ceiba fitted a large system of 40 solar panels and a Tesla PowerWall for our bungalow in rural Argyll. Their customer service was excellent and they kept us informed about every stage of the process. The installation was also very smooth with everyone involved knowing what they were doing. Their electrician was particularly knowledgable and helpful. When there was one minor problem with monitoring the system the engineer was there at 8am the next morning to fix it. We have a lot of problems getting people in to do work for us as we are literally in the back of beyond but Ceiba were a notable exception to this. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone thinking about having solar work done.

Ceiba was chosen because of the quality of components to be used and the warranty that went with them. They were not the cheapest, but we are delighted with the installation. Their technicians were first class and their after sales support thorough. With rising electricity prices, we anticipate that the installation will help to keep our Community Shop sustainable into the future.

From the start Duncan and his team guided me through the whole process, from initial consultation and design to a smooth and pain free installation. They have stood out in the way that they have kept me informed through each stage of the process, and were very accommodating when I had to delay the installation due to planning permission not having been received from the council. Even after installation the team have been on hand to answer queries and have been great at providing a detailed and comprehensive handover pack. They have taken care of everything needed to ensure a smooth installation. Would definitely use them again, and in fact I will be as they will be installing additional renewable energy solutions for me later this year.

I’m very impressed with Ceiba Renewables as a company. I spent a long time researching solar panels and storage batteries. I had originally contacted another company based in Edinburgh to discuss a solar installation and I was very disappointed with their design. I then contacted Ceiba Renewables and it was like a breath of fresh air. The Designer at Ceiba took the time to listen to my requirements and arranged a site survey. The solar panels and battery recommended were completely aligned with my expectations. I wanted quality, high efficiency panels with an excellent warranty, and the same level of quality and warranty with the battery storage system. I was very impressed with the micro-inverters and related gateway that were suggested in the design, too. I am also very pleased with the delivery of the system. The quality of workmanship and the attention to detail is wonderful to behold. I have quite high expectations for quality workmanship and I’m pleased to say that my expectations were exceeded. That is a rare occurrence for me to say that! Everyone in the Ceiba Team is easy to work with. The project management was excellent and I just received the handover documentation, which was comprehensive. Ceiba Renewables is a top notch, quality focused outfit. I recommend them without hesitation.

From initial inquiry to final install the entire team at Ceiba have just been fantastic to work with. Initial design hit problems due to grid connect limits so Duncan quickly came up with a 2 phase approach to let us move forward. The guys doing the install were great, friendly professional and courteous (even the cat liked them). Really neat work and no mess left at all, got the panels, powerwall and EDDI installed in just 2 days, and provided a very thorough run through of how it all worked and the associated apps. Really couldn't ask for better, hopefully will be able to get them back soon for phase 2.

The team were excellent to deal with throughout the quote and install process. Chris, who installed my panels, was a great guy and was very tidy with his work, and also great with my baby daughter who was very interested to see what was going on! Post-install I have been so happy with the results and have now had Chris back again to install an Eddi and make use of my excess solar energy to heat my hot water and save on some gas costs as well! Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

Our Sunpower Panels and Tesla Powerwalls were installed by CEIBA in November last year. The survey work by Duncan was thorough, detailed and professional and his recommendations on the capacity and potential performance have proved to be accurate with Spring solar generation in full sunlight consistently producing up to ninety seven percent of the five point two Kwph max panel rating. Duncan also flagged up a potential problem with our rafters for the fixing of the in-roof system, and we were able to resolve this in time before the installation. CEIBA work as a highly effective team with excellent communication and an agile approach to dealing with any issues. All the required permissions and paperwork were handled timeously by Romina. The roofers worked carefully and considerately when removing our slates and did a great job fitting the in-roof panels. Meanwhile, Romina in the office and Duncan kept in close contact and were available to answer any queries. The electricians Simon and Chris were great. Simon is clearly knowledgeable and very experienced and negotiated the location and connection of the Sunny Boy inverter in the loft and wi-fi set up etc. He also gave excellent advice regarding our EV charger and has responded fully and quickly to all post-installation technical enquiries. We chose CEIBA out of three companies and based on their Which Trusted Trader status. They thoroughly deserve this accolade for the excellent team work and service they provide.

Duncan was excellent in going through the design options for the Solar PV array and power wall, comms were great from the office as we got towards the installation date, and the installation team did an excellent job. Can't think of how they could have done any better - solid 5/5

Ceiba previously installed solar panels for our small business and more recently installed two tesla power walls. The whole team (Duncan, Farisa, Romina, Simon and Chris) have been a pleasure to work with - keeping in touch, explaining things clearly, and carrying out the work as scheduled. The team were helpful in accommodating grant/loan funding timescales and requirements. When our solar panel array was damaged by lightning, Duncan helped us get the system repaired and provided supporting information to enable a successful insurance claim. It is refreshing to work with people who are led by sound ethics, enthusiastic, clearly enjoy their work and support one another. We look forward to working with Ceiba again in the future.

Excellent work from these guys. Worked late into the evening to get the work completed on time. They were so good at explaining the setup, worked well and were very helpful to other tradesmen on site. Very very neat installation. They kept disruption to a minimum and explained the process at each stage. Very knowledgeable and clearly love doing a great job and making the customer happy.
