Ceiba planned, installed and commissioned solar PV and battery storage for us. The planning, survey and information were carried out meticulously. I then received a planned schedule for three days complete the work. This was all carried out exactly as planned. The staff were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. All my questions were answered quickly and honestly. Simon, Mark, and the roofing boys worked well, with attention to detail and minimal disruption. In addition, the site was tidied up every day. There were no issues and Simon helped me set up the system, showing me operation of the software and app. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

We had a 10-panel solar array + battery installed and had a great experience with Ceiba. They were thorough, knowledgable and fast. We also chose them as the panels they use are more efficient and ethically sourced than other companies we looked into.

Some years ago I moved into a house with an existing solar array and recently chose to add a battery to the setup. After looking around and making a lot of enquiries I found Ceiba, and I'm so glad I did. From the time of my first enquiry to the weeks following the installation of my Tesla Powerwall Ceiba have been nothing but excellent. The office team are often the unsung heroes of a good service company and that's very much the case with Ceiba. Add to this the expertise, courtesy and efficiency of the engineering team and it makes for an outstanding company. Ceiba had a number of online information / Q&A sessions which were really helpful, and I also had two video calls with their team prior to the install. I'm in Fort William so that made like easier all round. The install itself proved to be more tricky than first thought because of the difficulty of finding a suitable place for the earth-rod, but they persevered and found a spot, though it meant more work for them and a lot of digging up of the garden. It's to their great credit that they filled and covered the required channel such that there's no evidence of it at all. All in all, it was one of the best experiences with a trade that I've ever had. I've had two follow ups from them as well, which was much appreciated. If you have any doubts about Ceiba - just go ahead and book them in!

Ceiba Renewables were very professional to deal with from enquiry right through to install. They arrived when they said they would and completed the install in the time stated - even although it was one of the coldest weeks of the year! They installed 15 panels, a Tesla Powerwall, an EDDI and a ZAPPI. The panels look great and the Powerwall install and associated solar hardware was installed very neatly. They made sure everything was working as it should before they left - there was some difficulty getting the ZAPPI to talk to the HARVI, turned out it was too far away so they had to switch to using the EDDI as the master unit - everything then worked as it should. Very impressed with the company and their employees. They are not the cheapest but use the best hardware and do a very neat install. I believe they are worth the extra.

Ceiba have just completed the installation of an additional 8 PV panels at my home following previous installs of PV panels and a Tesla Powerwall. This is a great company to deal with. Absolute client/customer focus. They supplied a quality product and provided an excellent design, install and aftercare service. All members of the Ceiba team involved with my projects have been knowledgeable, professional and polite. I can highly recommend this company.

Ceiba installed 30 solar panels, two Tesla Powerwalls, and a Zappi charger together with all the ancillary equipment, for us at a remote location in Argyll. Notwithstanding some pretty challenging weather, travel and site conditions, everything was done in a thoroughly professional and tidy manner. The team were well prepared and went the extra mile to ensure the job was completed on time and within budget. Communications with Ceiba have been prompt and helpful both pre- and post- install.

This is the second installation that Ceiba has undertaken for us. They added a second Tesla Powerwall to our Solar/battery setup. We were impressed with the first installation and more than happy with the service this time. Communication and after sales service is excellent and the both installations went ahead as planned on the dates promised. Highly recommended.

The Ceiba team installed my Tesla Powerwall having installed solar panels in February 2022 and as ever the service was excellent. The preparation from the office team in advance was detailed and very clear. The onsite team were friendly, polite and very tidy. Simon also sorted out some issues on my consumer board, a result of a rogue electrician not doing his job properly (which he also did the first time he visited!). The advice on setup was excellent as always and I would highly recommend the Ceiba team for high quality, technically excellent service.

Ceiba just completed the installation of our 10 solar PV panels and the Tesla Powerwall and Gateway. The whole experience from the outset was thoroughly professional , from the initial enquiry until the completion of the installation. We initially chose to contact them because they were recommended by Which, and they lived up to the high standard we were led to expect. There were some issues at our end about scheduling the installation, but Ceiba were very accommodating. All the guys who did the installation were very helpful and knowledgeable, including Chris the roofer and Simon and Douglas who installed and commissioned the Powerwall and Gateway, and who were very keen to explain the installation and operation of the system, and the setting up of the app. Romina and Gemma have both also been very helpful in sorting out the installation dates, payment arrangements etc. The cost of the system may have been a but higher than you could find elsewhere, but I believe that Ceiba have given us a high quality product and great service representing very good value. Overall, we are very pleased with the whole experience, and would certainly recommend - in fact have already done so.

Ceiba Renewables have recently installed solar panels and powerwalls for me. They have been brilliant to deal with from the first contact to completion and beyond. They took time to understand my requirements and to explain their recommendations. The installation process was brilliantly efficient and the team were pleasant to deal with and left no mess at all. The installed system is working brilliantly and I am delighted with it as I am with the very patient post installation support and explanation the team at Ceiba have and continue to give to me.

I have used Ceiba renewables twice. They fit 13 solar panels November 2021 and they have just installed a Tesla power wall. On both occasions they proved to be brilliant. The before sales and most importantly for me after sales is excellent. After new technology is fitted I always take a while to adjust. Ceiba renewables are there checking everything is working and helping you navigate the app. They arrive on time, are the cleanest workmen I have ever come across, everyone is polite and helpful including the people onsite and the off site office team. They are highly recommended. After fitting my solar panels I would never have gone with another company. They only fit good products and know how to do it.

Ceiba Renewables have just completed the installation of 14 Sunpower Max6 Solar Panels with Enphase and a Zappi EV Charger. Ceiba Renewables is an excellent company to deal with. Duncan carried out the survey, and it was clear from the outset that he is knowledgeable and passionate about his work. The information and communication has been excellent with special mention of Romina and Gemma. Chris and his team of roofers started the installation and this was then completed by Mark the electrician assisted by Andrew. All members of the team worked diligently, efficiently and left no mess behind. Again the communication was excellent from the installation team. All were very polite, friendly and helpful. I am delighted with the outcome and would be happy to recommend this company.

We used Ceiba Renewables to design and install our solar panels, Tesla battery and car charger. We received first class service every step of the way, from design and right through the installation and commissioning process. All the staff are knowledgeable, helpful, thoughtful and very competent. The installation process was very professional and thorough and the on-site personnel took great care to ensure they put all equipment exactly where we wanted it. They were also very clean and tidy. They sell the very best quality equipment available and the prices reflect this, but we hold the view that quality is always worth paying for. The experience with Ceiba Renewables was simple, clear and an absolute pleasure from start to finish. They supply the best of quality in products and match this every inch of the way in the service. Everything is explained clearly, they carry out a thorough survey (undertaken by the MD) and importantly listen to and deliver to the customer requirements. The team on site installing the system were fantastic. Take time to plan out the job, treat the property as if it were their own, i.e. workmanship of the highest order and site always left clean and tidy. Importantly they are very careful in suncontractors they work with, ensuring they are equal in standards, application and quality of service they provide. The only frustration there are very few companies out there now with the same values and principles in their approach. When you find them you appreciate the level of trust and confidence in the job they are doing. We are delighted for all these reasons to have worked with Ceiba and could not recommend them highly enough to others.

From design to handover, the Ceiba team are a pleasure to work with. As we were having a house renovation done it meant lots of other contractors on site and work going on. The Ceiba team was really flexible and accommodating with any onsite meetings needed, installation days and working around any delay to them caused by our house renovation. I can't recommend the team highly enough, especially Duncan, Kasper, Romina, Gemma & Farisa.

What a joy it has been to work with Ceiba. My project started in August 2022 when the cost and time scale was outlined. 11 panels and a Tesla battery. the final installation included a Zappi, Eddi and I opted for the panels to be integrated into the roof. all costs quoted were firm and there was no change to the costs. Although the installation wasn't scheduled until February 2023 we had to run all the internal wires in December 2022 prior to roof insulation. There was absolutely no issue with Ceiba working to our programme and on 8th December a 2 man team arrived on site. my first impression of the 2 engineers was very good. friendly, efficient, professional and thorough. Nothing was a problem. In February the roofers and engineers started and over a period of 3 days the panels were installed and connected up. All 4 men working well together. It was a joy to have them around the house. In April the system was commissioned over 2 days. This date was determined by me as I had to wait for the house internet installation. The 2 installation engineers were professional and once again nice to have around the house. I would like to single out Chris, who led the roof team and on the installation and commissioning team Casper, Andy, Simon and Mark. All very professional, thorough and efficient men. It was a pleasure to have them on site. finally, I have not forgotten about the office. a big thanks to Romina, Farisa and Gemma, who managed the project excellently.

We had our solar panel and battery installed by Ceiba Renewables last week. From initial phone consultation to final commissioning of the system, we had received excellent service. Romina, Farisa & Gemma kept us up to date about the process, admin and installation date, Duncan was very knowledgeable and provided us with plenty of information. Simon and his team were very professionals and were extremely efficient in getting the whole system installed. We will recommend Ceiba Renewables to our friends and family.

The team of engineers from Ceiba renewables are professionals. Simon and Mark did excellent job installing the Tesla power wall battery .They explained the whole process before and after installation and everything neatly done. They know their onions. Will recommend. Also starting from placing order Duncan ,Gemma, Romina and Farisa are all amazing .

We hadn't heard of Ceiba before considering Solar and battery storage. However, Duncan proved to be highly knowledgeable in all of the technical aspects of the product, much moreso than other 'sales' people from other companies. The panels, microinverters and Tesla battery supplied by Ceiba are of higher quality and spec. than other companies which obviously make the price more expensive but we believe you get what you pay for. The installation process was fully explained to us by Duncan and we accepted that the battery installation would be delayed due to supply and demand issues with Tesla. Communication was excellent via Romina regarding the actual installation dates and we are delighted with the operation, performance and aesthetics of the panels on our roof.

Stage 2 of Solar PV system, and it was time for the battery installation. Having used Ceiba for the Solar panel installation I was more than happy to have them return to install the battery. Their Project Manager, Romina, contacted me about a week beforehand just to reconfirm that the date and time still suited me and to give me an expected time of arrival for the team. And as per the confirmation, the team, Simon, turned up as agreed. Prior to starting they chatted through what their plan was for the installation, explained that there would be a short power outage when they came to connect everything together and would give me plenty notice. Sometimes its just these little things that can make all the difference. The installation went smoothly and at each stage of the install Simon cleaned up as he went and when finished made sure I was happy with the installation. Simon then talked me through the intricacies of the install and ensured that I had all the information I needed to manage the system (App installed on phone, logged in and working correctly). When I am ready for Stage 3 I will definitely be using Ceiba Renewables.

What a brilliant experience from start to finish. East step was explained to us throughout the process from planning to installation. Very neat work and no mess to clear up. Very knowledgeable about the Powerwall. App shown to us and explained how to use. Would certainly recommend this company.

Ceiba lived up to their excellent reputation from start to finish. Duncan is an expert in the field and provided great advice at the planning stage. Supplier delays meant a long wait for the installation, but Ceiba were completely honest and open about the issues which was much appreciated. I have heard many stories of companies squeezing customers by increasing the cost, but Ceiba honoured their original quote despite rising costs. Trying to install solar panels in winter on our island location gave Project Manager Romina endless headaches with cancelled ferries, fully booked hotels and so on, but she worked tirelessly to keep everything on track. The roofing team did an excellent job in horrible weather, rather them than me! When the Tesla Powerwall and the other equipment finally arrived Simon & Andrew did a superb job, working round all the challenges, fuelled only by tea and scones. They were very tidy and took time to make sure we had all the relevant apps set up and knew how to work everything. Overall it has been an absolute pleasure dealing with everyone at Ceiba, the system we have has exceeded our expectations in terms of power generated. I can see why they have won numerous awards, I have recommended them to several friends and will continue to do so

Having researched what solar panels I wanted I found Ceiba Renewables who covered my area and came highly recommended. The demand for them was high but they managed my expectations of the timing of service delivery from the outset. The panels were installed before the power wall due to supply difficulties. They did an excellent job with no wiring down external walls, crawling about in the loft to make a very neat job. They also upgraded the safety of my electricity supply. The power wall has just been installed and all the account set-up for the app is done by Ceiba so that has simplified everything for me. Another neat job. With both installations, I got a good briefing on what had been done, how to operate the electrics associated with it safely and how to manage it via the app. They have been most helpful with advice and documentation and the crucial thing is that the price quoted is the price charged.

What a great experience working with Ceiba Renewables has been. From design to installation and handover first class. Tesla gateway and powerwall installation associated wiring is to the highest standard with many thanks to Simon. As a senior offshore commissioning engineer myself I am fully satisfied with the total process and would strongly recommend Ceiba renewables. Communication was excellent from day one with regular updates. They were open and honest and managed expectations re install dates. Simon discussed all aspects of the install and even saved money from the original quote by suggesting i could switch to the standard Enphase gateway as the energy monitoring would be done by the Tesla gateway once the powerwall was installed. He also sorted out my untidy and potentially dangerous EV charger install. That's proper service and not someone there just doing a job but taking pride in their work and a genuine interest in their customer. A few weeks after install, a couple of panels failed due to a firmware issue with the built in microinverters (sunpower maxeon panels with enphase microinverters). This was resolved without issue and replacements were ordered and installed quickly. I initially contacted a few providers for quotes and while, on paper, Ceiba may not have been the cheapest, it is important to look at exactly what you are getting for your money and compare like for like. Not all panels and batteries are equal and so I was very happy with the overall cost of my system particularly factoring in the service received and the peace of mind afforded by the lengthy warranties. Every member of the team was friendly and professional. From the sales consultant/planner, admin team, scaffolders and electricians. I was delighted with every apsect and would have no hesitation recommending Ceiba to anyone.

Duncan and the Ceiba Renewable team were professional from the outset. Duncan provided clear information for the sizing rationale and planning permissions and overall process. His support team did a great job of keeping us informed of delivery dates and introduced us to Alastair who completed the groundworks (we have a ground-mounted array) as we couldn't find a suitable local supplier. Duncan quickly responded to identifying alternative panels when it became clear the supply of the original panels could be problematic. Simon and the electrical installation team were very professional and very tidy, checking with us any queries beforehand. We were very confident to leave them to it when we had a family crisis that fell over our installation period, and we were not able to be at the house for most of the time. We are very pleased with our ground array and Tesla Powerwall.

Throughout the entire process from the presales stage, collaborating and iterating on the requirements/design/quoting stage, to getting the pre and post commissioning process the team at Ceiba Renewables have been amazing and a joy to work with. They managed my expectations regularly with updates on the supply chain issues and high demand with realistic and accurate forecasts. Once the elements of the system arrived on schedule, the installation itself over the course of 3 days went really well. The team were amazing very knowledgeable and engaging. A standout part of the installation is they involved me on every small detail from the positioning of the components on the day applying rational to our decisions (in terms of any future expandability) and they were engaging with my questions as I built up my knowledge about the installation. Not every company or professional does this, but I am glad they did. Another important factor was as a team between the roofers and the electricians they worked well as a unit and delivered very neat work. Everything was completed ahead of schedule. Ceiba fitted a large system of 40 solar panels and a Tesla PowerWall for our bungalow in rural Argyll. Their customer service was excellent and they kept us informed about every stage of the process. The installation was also very smooth with everyone involved knowing what they were doing. Their electrician was particularly knowledgable and helpful. When there was one minor problem with monitoring the system the engineer was there at 8am the next morning to fix it. We have a lot of problems getting people in to do work for us as we are literally in the back of beyond but Ceiba were a notable exception to this. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone thinking about having solar work done.

Ceiba was chosen because of the quality of components to be used and the warranty that went with them. They were not the cheapest, but we are delighted with the installation. Their technicians were first class and their after sales support thorough. With rising electricity prices, we anticipate that the installation will help to keep our Community Shop sustainable into the future.

Even after installation the team have been on hand to answer queries and have been great at providing a detailed and comprehensive handover pack. They have taken care of everything needed to ensure a smooth installation. Would definitely use them again, and in fact I will be as they will be installing additional renewable energy solutions for me later this year.

I’m very impressed with Ceiba Renewables as a company. I spent a long time researching solar panels and storage batteries. I had originally contacted another company based in Edinburgh to discuss a solar installation and I was very disappointed with their design. I then contacted Ceiba Renewables and it was like a breath of fresh air. The Designer at Ceiba took the time to listen to my requirements and arranged a site survey. The solar panels and battery recommended were completely aligned with my expectations. I wanted quality, high efficiency panels with an excellent warranty, and the same level of quality and warranty with the battery storage system. I was very impressed with the micro-inverters and related gateway that were suggested in the design, too. I am also very pleased with the delivery of the system. The quality of workmanship and the attention to detail is wonderful to behold. I have quite high expectations for quality workmanship and I’m pleased to say that my expectations were exceeded. That is a rare occurrence for me to say that! Everyone in the Ceiba Team is easy to work with. The project management was excellent and I just received the handover documentation, which was comprehensive. Ceiba Renewables is a top notch, quality focused outfit. I recommend them without hesitation.

From initial inquiry to final install the entire team at Ceiba have just been fantastic to work with. Initial design hit problems due to grid connect limits so Duncan quickly came up with a 2 phase approach to let us move forward. The guys doing the install were great, friendly professional and courteous (even the cat liked them). Really neat work and no mess left at all, got the panels, powerwall and EDDI installed in just 2 days, and provided a very thorough run through of how it all worked and the associated apps. Really couldn't ask for better, hopefully will be able to get them back soon for phase 2.

The team were excellent to deal with throughout the quote and install process. Chris, who installed my panels, was a great guy and was very tidy with his work, and also great with my baby daughter who was very interested to see what was going on! Post-install I have been so happy with the results and have now had Chris back again to install an Eddi and make use of my excess solar energy to heat my hot water and save on some gas costs as well! Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

Our Sunpower Panels and Tesla Powerwalls were installed by CEIBA in November last year. The survey work by Duncan was thorough, detailed and professional and his recommendations on the capacity and potential performance have proved to be accurate with Spring solar generation in full sunlight consistently producing up to ninety seven percent of the five point two Kwph max panel rating. Duncan also flagged up a potential problem with our rafters for the fixing of the in-roof system, and we were able to resolve this in time before the installation. CEIBA work as a highly effective team with excellent communication and an agile approach to dealing with any issues. All the required permissions and paperwork were handled timeously by Romina. The roofers worked carefully and considerately when removing our slates and did a great job fitting the in-roof panels. Meanwhile, Romina in the office and Duncan kept in close contact and were available to answer any queries. The electricians Simon and Chris were great. Simon is clearly knowledgeable and very experienced and negotiated the location and connection of the Sunny Boy inverter in the loft and wi-fi set up etc. He also gave excellent advice regarding our EV charger and has responded fully and quickly to all post-installation technical enquiries. We chose CEIBA out of three companies and based on their Which Trusted Trader status. They thoroughly deserve this accolade for the excellent team work and service they provide.

Duncan was excellent in going through the design options for the Solar PV array and power wall, comms were great from the office as we got towards the installation date, and the installation team did an excellent job. Can't think of how they could have done any better - solid 5/5

Ceiba previously installed solar panels for our small business and more recently installed two tesla power walls. The whole team (Duncan, Farisa, Romina, Simon and Chris) have been a pleasure to work with - keeping in touch, explaining things clearly, and carrying out the work as scheduled. The team were helpful in accommodating grant/loan funding timescales and requirements. When our solar panel array was damaged by lightning, Duncan helped us get the system repaired and provided supporting information to enable a successful insurance claim. It is refreshing to work with people who are led by sound ethics, enthusiastic, clearly enjoy their work and support one another. We look forward to working with Ceiba again in the future.

Excellent work from these guys. Worked late into the evening to get the work completed on time. They were so good at explaining the setup, worked well and were very helpful to other tradesmen on site. Very very neat installation. They kept disruption to a minimum and explained the process at each stage. Very knowledgeable and clearly love doing a great job and making the customer happy.

We had a Tesla Powerwall and Solar Panels fitted by Ceiba Renewables. They did all the prep work with SSE etc and then booked in for 2 days to complete the installation. Simon and Chris were excellent - great job and very tidy (hoovered up after themselves) so we are very pleased with the job. Got a comprehensive explanation on how everything worked from Simon. The guys Chris & Peter who did the solar panels installation were very good as well. Would highly recommend Ceiba Renewables for your installation.

Ceiba provided an effective and comprehensive service. Excellent communication throughout the process, keeping us informed. The office staff assisted in dealing with an issue with our energy supplier. The electrician also gave us important on-site advice about the installation of an electric vehicle charger which has saved us a great deal of problems. He also liaised with the EV charger installer. A couple of minor issues with clearing up. Insulation in the loft was not properly laid back. I had to supply replacement tiles for those broken in the course of installation. Luckily I had these, but the broken tiles were not disposed of, but left lying in a border. Apart from those very minor points, this was an excellent service. The team had to work against the weather coming in, and completed ahead of schedule.

The team from ceiba did all that was promised. They were very punctual, neat and hard working. The two teams, electrical and roof panel installation coordinated seamlessly and it was clear that they were highly experienced in this field. At and during the installation all the components fully explained to me and they ensured I fully understood how the system functioned and where all the isolation points were located and how to reset the Tesla battery if ever required. The control app was set up and explained in detail to me. Everything was left neat and tidy before departure. I highly recommend this firm if you are considering a solar and battery installation for your property.

I want to ensure that the Ceiba Renewables team are appropriately recognised for their excellent service delivery. From Duncan’s initial visit, Farisa and Romina’s pre-install support through to the expert installation, our experience was a credit to them all. Chris and Peter did a fantastic job in installing the 15 panels on our roof in less than ideal weather conditions (cold and windy), with the end product looking great - the upper and lower rows are exactly aligned. Then Chris Black and Simon Young completed the installation with the internal electrical hook-up and commissioning. I cant fault the work they did, it was high quality, tidy and of a very high standard. In fact, Simon highlighted and corrected some poor quality work done by the electrician who installed our car charger, which we were indebted to him for as it could have created issues for us later on. First thing the morning after installation, Chris sent through the link to the online dashboard and we now have full visibility of our solar generation. Every member of the team was approachable, friendly, helpful, polite and clearly knew their subject well. All-in-all, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ceiba Renewables to anyone considering a solar PV installation. You can be assured of excellent end-to-end service from them. So much so that we have already told them they’ll be installing our storage battery system next year.

From the moment I contacted Duncan to discuss the project to the moment the system was handed over the process was conducted in a very professional way. My wife and I are delighted with the standard of work. The team were friendly and courteous at all times, even to the point of helping an elderly neighbour who fell outside his house. The scaffolding was taken down as soon as the job was completed, having been put up the day the job started. This was in stark contrast to an installation in my last house where it took 3 weeks before the scaffolding was removed. The only glitch was when the team were about to put up the first panel only to find that they had the wrong fittings. This was the fault of ceiba’s suppliers and was quickly remedied. Duncan called me a few days after the job had been completed to check all was well and the paperwork arrived a few days after that. A great firm to deal with And I can thoroughly recommend them.

I have just had Ceiba install 14 SunPower PV panels (5.25kW) along with a Tesla PowerWall 2. The panels were physically installed on two aspects of the roof in one day and then a few days later Chris & Simon came to do all the wiring and PowerWall installation over 2 more days - all as planned. Many thanks to Duncan, Romina and Farisa in the office for always providing friendly, accessible support and advice, to Chris and Peter from Eco Solutions who worked quickly and efficiently to install 10 stunningly beautiful Sunpower Solar pv Panels on my front porch roof, and most of all to Simon and Chris who worked so hard to install the Powerwall and link all the components up so they co-ordinate perfectly to provide the most efficient - and easy to use - system for generating solar-powered energy here. All components are top notch and have been carefully selected and thoughtfully designed to work together in an integrated intelligent package, all of which is explained and demonstrated clearly (and with great patience!) to a technophobe like me. The challenging logistics of installing on a small Scottish island in an old chaotically-wired farmhouse did not deter them: they remained cheerful, positive and consummately professional throughout, leaving me with a cleaner, tidier and more logically- and safely-wired house than i had before. Simon and Chris installed my Powerwall between 28 and 29 October, arriving when they said they would and completing the work when they promised. Overall a professional approach to the work, which required some creative thinking particularly as I wanted the equipment sited high on a wall. Nothing was too much trouble. Technically there was a lot to consider and any challenges presented were met with a clearly thought out plan of action, then resolved. The equipment and operation of it was carefully explained and any questions answered. As a bonus the location was left clean and tidy! I would recommend CEIBA for this type of work without hesitation.

Just had 5.2 kw solar panels & a Zappy 2 EV charger installed. All those involved in the installation & commisioning the system were very efficient, clean & tidy. From start to finish I have found everyone in this company and the roofing company they work closely with to be friendly, helpful and have carried out their jobs to a very high standard. We used Ceiba Renewables to install 6kW of Solar panels and a Tesla Powerwall 2 battery. From initial discussions with Duncan through to the installation with Simon and Chris, the whole experience has been first class. This has been a large investment and having looked at several options from other companies we opted to go with Ceiba due to the quality of products they use and the reviews from other customers. The job was booked in and everything ran like clockwork, the guys turned up promptly, their friendliness and attention to detail was second to none. We decided that the time was right to invest in a solar PV system with a battery back up, several quotes were obtained and I must admit to being perplexed at the variety of systems and advice. Duncan at Ceiba was on holiday when I made contact however Lucy sent me a questionaire to complete with the promise that Duncan would come back to me on his return. After speaking with some of the other installers I had quotes from, they seemed to be less inclined to go into detail and help me understand what I was buying. I then received a quote from Ceiba with proposed panel siting and numerous technical details followed up with a detailed discussion in my home with Duncan. Although his quote was at the top end of all the quotes and my budget, the attention to detail and professionalism showed to my case gave me a very good feeling. After a brief period of negotiation we agreed on a scope of work and a final price. We were kept up to date with proposed installation dates and even managed to jump the queue due to a cancellation (virus related). The guys appeared on time and did exactly what was agreed, the installation of the panels was completed on one day, thanks guys, and the Powerwall took a day on either side of this. All the installers showed great professionalism and an ethos to do the right job for the client. Overall I cannot say it was the cheapest but when you stand back and look at the complete package I feel Ceiba offer tremendous value for money.

I picked this company from the tesla recommended supplier and installer. My first point of contact was Duncan himself i explained what i was wanting a tesla power wall and add extra 3.2 kW solar to my existing 4kw solar he was very helpful and understanding of what i was wanting he gave me two or three pricing ideas which suited me best explained to me what was involved and in Jan spoke to me a couple of days before to see if it was ok to install system Chris and boys turned up a couple of days and was fitted all working would recommend this company and would like to thank Lucy for her help with the paperwork side

Simon and Chris completed installing a Tesla Powerwall today. The whole job was really well planned and scheduled by Ceiba and perfectly executed by Simon and Chris. They are very competent and obviously enjoy working in the renewable sector.

Really pleased with both customer support and the installation by Ceiba. From the discussion of what we wanted & could do, to the installation and after install support they have been excellent.

My solar SMA inverter sadly failed after 7 years. I contacted Duncan and Simon from Ceiba who promptly attended and diagnosed that the unit had failed internally. Rather than just read obvious fault codes on the unit, they dug deeper carrying out a diagnosis of the inverter itself and further tests on power isolators and outputs from the panels themselves. Consequently an issue regarding an earth fault from the panels was identified and was eventually traced to a faulty cracked panel connector. A further faulty DC isolator (which had been incorrectly installed by the original contractor) was also identified and replaced. All aspects of the faults with the system were clearly explained along with required works and costings. Happily Ceiba conducted all relevant communications with SMA directly whilst on site and consequently were able to arrange a replacement inverter under warranty. The company provided good communication by E mail and telephone to arrange suitable work dates which on one occasion had to be altered due to a work commitment. On final installation of the replacement inverter by Simon, he kindly advised me of a Blue tooth feature on the unit which now enabled remote monitoring of the system, he even arranged for the software to be installed on our home computer!

We have had 2 Tesla Powerwalls fitted by Ceiba Renewables Ltd. Before the Job started, I spoke to Duncan on a few occasions by telephone and e-mail. So, he and his team were aware of how I wanted my installation carried out. At no time was there any issue with my questions. Asked and answered in a quick and professional manner. The day before the installation Duncan called and asked if it was still OK for the install. On the day of Installation Duncan and his team arrived on time. He introduced his team and we had an initial discussion of the job. The main works were carried out by Simon his electrician / Installation Engineer. Having been in charge of large-scale electrical installations offshore myself I asked Simon many questions and at no time did he fail to give me an answer. All his work was neat and tidy. They carried out the final testing and cleaned up all their workspace when complete. I can say they are truly a professional company with customer satisfaction as a priority. Lucy also merits a mention with her professionalism, who from the office, carried out all necessary paperwork. I have no hesitation in recommending Ceiba Renewables Ltd.

We built a house from scratch and Ceiba were one of the companies that never let us down at any point. They arrived when they said they would, well prepared, stayed until the job was complete and were a pleasure to deal with. The installation of Solar array and Tesla Powerwalls was carried out efficiently and the system has been very well designed for the needs of the house. This might just be me that is sad enough to notice this but the wiring and equipment installation in the plant room is an absolute work of art! Makes me happy every time I go down there :-)

Our solar panels had a previous fault that warranted investigation, plus our roof was leaking in several places under the panels. Duncan and the team arrived at the arranged time and carried out the work professionally and in a timely fashion. Duncan and Chris were very helpful explaining the causes of the fault and reasons for the roof leaks. Once the work was completed Duncan e-mailed a report and photos of repairs carried out. The cost matched the quote exactly, in fact, some small extra work I had requested the day before the work was to be carried out was done with no extra charge, much appreciated. I will be using this company again in the future if we encounter any more issues with our solar panels. Very happy with the work.

Duncan and team installed a 5.6kW solar system, Tesla PW2 and Eddi water heater control module. Installation was over 3 days (just an hour required on Day 3), everything tidied at the end of each day and system explained by Duncan at the end. Duncan is very patient and passionate about his work and it shows. Excellent from first point of contact onwards. Will certainly be using Duncan again if I extend my solar PV system and heartily recommenced his services. Not the cheapest out there but you get what you pay for and the Ceiba teams re worth every penny.

We have just had a 4 kW Solar PV System, based on Sunpower black panels, installed by Duncan and his team. It went well and we found out things about our house that we didn't know beforehand. The early winter weather was attrocious but a brief spell of fine weather allowed the fitters to complete the job despite the rain in the morning. Duncan explained the system well, including how to apply for the Feedin Tariff. The panels immediately started generating electricity on a cloudy day! Our house was left spotless and all packing materials were taken away. Wonderful!

I had 5.2kWhp solar PV and Tesla Powerwall 2 installed by Ceiba. I had quotes from various other suppliers but none offered the level of detail in specifications or the number of options that Ceiba offered. The install is very professional. All wiring is neat and a complete system diagram was provided. The system has performed better than expected. In the 2 months that it has been in place it has generated 1200kWh and we have used almost no power from the grid. Very happy with the quality of the work and the system. Whenever anyone asks about the solar panels I make a point of mentioning how good the install is and I highly recommend Ceiba for anyone considering a solar system.

I contacted Ceiba to investigate an error message that I was receiving on my PV inverter. They were easily and quickly able to diagnose that the error message meant the inverter needed replaced. They liaised with the manufacturer and established that it was still under warranty (2 weeks left on a 66 month warranty - lucky white heather!). At all times Ceiba kept me abreast of progress on the requisition of the new inverter and also on a time to install. The installation itself was very professional and the installer was very friendly, professional and fully explained what he was doing and why. I recommend Ceiba to resolve your PV faults. Ceiba Renewables worked with us to design the PV system for our new build house in the highlands. They provided a more comprehensive service than any other company we contacted about the project, from estimating its size, through design and specification to installation. This included implementation of new technology such as the Tesla Powerball. They tackled a whole series of issues and no problem seemed too difficult. We used many contractors on our new build but in terms of knowledge, professionalism and service Ceiba Renewables were in a class of their own.

We cannot recommend them too highly. From quotation to final handover they were very professional but friendly. A detailed explanation of each stage of the process meant everything went smoothly and we are delighted with the results. All the work was completed to a very high standard and the site left tidy afterwards.

I had a solar pv system fitted and it's been installed now for over a year and never once have I had a problem with it or has the system not worked. The production of the system is far higher than the SAP values and has proven to be a very good system at the price it was installed at.

I was unfortunate enough to be a victim of a less than professional company when I first had solar panels installed. Subsequent problems led me to Duncan for help. He and his wife sorted my immediate problem and advised on the likelihood of future problems. I have since had them return to do a major renovation of the installation of the panels, and found them hard-working, helpful, professional and willing to adapt to circumstances.
