I called Aziz because I thought I had a broken shower valve. I did have a broken shower valve, but there turned out to be much more complex issues in the bathroom once Aziz started to investigate. As soon as he saw what was behind the tiling, it was apparent that the work I'd had done a dozen years before (by someone else) was not up to scratch. Aziz showed me very clearly what the problems were and it was easy for me to see them, thanks to his clarity, and to see that he was right. In the end I asked him to redo the shower/bath and the basin and toilet because it was clear to me that if we didn't do this now there would be problems down the line. It's important to stress how good the quality of Aziz's communication is. This is a really big deal. It's very clear too how much cares about the quality of his work. The service he offers is not the cheapest, but it is of very high value, and that's the important thing. I'm confident that the money I spent is on work that will last, and I would not hesitate to call him again and recommend him — and his whole team, who were great to work with to a person.

Aziz and his team have worked for several months to renovate the basement of my house to a very high standard. Floors, ceiling, walls, gas, electrics, shower, toilet - the whole lot. It required lots of different skill sets, and Certified brought it all together beautifully. The quality of the workmanship, including bespoke handmade elements, is easily the best we have ever seen. Aziz and his colleagues, Karim, Chris and Kem, were fantastic in helping us at a very difficult time just before Christmas. Our gas meter had been changed and the fitter detected a fall in pressure, which means a leak in the system, so he had to shut off our gas. Aziz and colleagues attended at short notice and worked late into the evening on more than one day, to replace a series of sub-standard pipes in our elderly house. They have very high standards of workmanship, no shoddy work or cutting corners. They also take the time to explain everything with great patience and good humour. We’ll be using them again.

I've known Aziz at Certified Group since 2015 when I needed a gas safe engineer to fit a tumble dryer and he started servicing all our gas appliances, boiler etc every year. I've since discovered he and his team provide all home maintenance and building services and I've used him for several key projects around a home that's very old and has needed TLC. Excellent attention to detail, excellent communication - showing me what the issues are and explaining what needs to be done, why and how; excellent team of guys who are extremely friendly, professional, tidy and couldn't be more helpful. Safety conscious - making sure that we are safe and secure. Excellent knowledge and desire to do the best job possible. Aziz and his team go above and beyond. As a picky, difficult yet not impolite customer, I don't usually provide reviews. Tradesman don't usually like me and vice versa. Aziz and his team however are a rare breed indeed. Working tirelessly with unswerving dedication, they are committed to executing work to a high standard, but equally prepared to explain the process throughout with attention to millimetre type detail if called to do so. The team consistently demonstrate an extremely positive can-do attitude, so often lacking with other engineers and fitters. If you want the job done properly in uncompromised fashion these really are the people to go to. Simple as that. I provide this commendation in good faith after using them for over 11 years.

Aziz and his team (Karim & Chris) carried out a number of jobs on my rental flat in Lewisham: fixed and serviced boiler, balanced central heating system, installed washing machine, fixed the toilet cistern and replaced the kitchen floor. Reliable, punctual, polite and stuck to the agreed schedule (important when there are tenants in situ). They were a pleasure to work with. I've worked with Aziz and his team before and so when I wanted some engineered wood flooring I turned to them as my first choice provider. I was not disappointed. They aren't the cheapest, but definitely the best value for money. They gave my a prompt quote, lots of good advice, planned in the work efficiently and promptly, kept to plan, worked incredibly hard and fast, were friendly and courteous, were obsessively tidy, gave great attention to detail, moved all my furniture about for me, solved some potentially challenging problems along the way and did an absolutely fabulous job. I contacted Certified Group late Weds afternoon because a leak had started in the kitchen which I'd hopefully identified it as the inlet to the washing machine. Aziz phoned, asked a few questions about the problem, we agreed the final price for parts and labour and he advised me to turn off the mains supply. Karim arrived early evening and soon identified the washing machine filter and a short piece of cold water feed pipe as needing replacement. This he did and completely dried and cleaned the floor too. All this took him about 1 hour. A little after Karim left, Aziz phoned to ask if everything was now OK and if I was happy with their service. I certainly am. This was the first time I've used Aziz and co. but will call them first for any other heating or plumbing requirements I have.

Certified Group attended to track down a leak, that they identified as being on the mains inlet pipe. There were also some leaky taps and a toilet needing attention. Aziz and his team dealt with all this efficiently, keeping me well informed at every stage. They arrived on time and put in long hours, always cheerful and a pleasure to have around. The toilet repairs were more extensive than anticipated, but were completed to a high standard well within the schedule. Each day and on completion everything was left neat and tidy.

Aziz and his team did a terrific job identifying the source of a leak in a terraced house bathroom. They removed an old bath, shower, shower screen and tiles. They straightened the wall, added insulation put in new tiles, new bath/shower and reattached basin. There was barely any mess or dust, the protective covers they installed on the carpet worked perfectly. And they were very good at cleaning up and removing rubbish every day. Aziz and his team were all professional, friendly and approachable. The finished job looks fantastic. Hopefully, they will be available for any future jobs.

Aziz and his team previously installed my boiler. As I was very happy with their work from the last time, I recently asked them to fit new radiators for me. Brand new radiators aside, I am extremely happy with the work ethics of the team. I found the team to be genuine, thorough and hard-working (i.e. being on time and working straight through from 8.30am to 8.00pm in order to maintain their schedule). Very friendly demeanor and the team cleaned up as they went along! There was great communication amongst the team as well as the communication with me about the work at each step. Needless to say the project ran smoothly from start to finish. They also went the extra mile and helped put up a heavy mirror and an installation for me even though it was not part of the work. A great team!

Aziz and his team helped me to refurbish a new property. The work involved decoration, plumbing, electrical updates and they were able to cover all these areas with separate experts. Communication was great and continuous. Any issues found while doing the work was discussed in advance and thoroughly. The team delivered a high-quality finish and they left the property in pristine conditions. Even when there was an issue after they left, they sent someone to sort it promptly without asking for additional fees. I found them slightly more expensive than the competition but I guess you need to pay the right price for a high-quality job and they delivered on it! Replacement of shower unit originally installed by Ream without sufficient preparation. Aziz and his team removed the old units and tiles and we were shocked at the poor preparation by the Ream installer which had caused the shower tray to flex and leak. Aziz had to cut back plaster which had become soaked as a result. The team managed supply issues and were very considerate working around us whilst we were working from home too. Would certainly recommend the Certified team to anyone.

I called this company first to repair my old boiler system which had failed - and really wish that I hadn't. Their call out fee is £144 inc. VAT. The guy turned up and said that the electrics in the timer were 'fried' and that it would be unsafe to repair. I would need a new Combi boiler. He quoted me just under £7000 for that but graciously offered to deduct that from the £7000 if I used them to replace the boiler. Stupidly I believed him and got quotes for a new combi installation which ranged from £3000 to £5000. I then got a guy who refused to quote me as it could be fixed with some new parts - it was a simple electrical fault. Cost £350 and is working fine. So I paid £144 for nothing and was then blatantly lied to. Also creepily the guy texted me to ask if I was 'ok' as it was really cold at that time. When I said I was getting other quotes - silence. Avoid this company at all costs.

I have never been in the happy position to recommend plumbers before now. Christmas Eve and disaster strikes as a major leak from an old lead pipe shows in one of our bedroom ceilings. Aziz and Kebba from Certified Group came recommended by a neighbour that had used them a few days prior. I’m so glad that I went with that recommendation as I now have a go to team for all my maintenance and emergency repairs. They were punctual, worked to the highest standard ( as confirmed by my own regular builder who couldn’t attend because he was isolating) The stress of water escape and the ensuing collateral damage was eased by the team. Not only did they sort the leak but organised the building repairs and redecorating all under the one umbrella of Certified Group. They are a group of independent tradesmen about 8 in total that work together for their own company. They have a real pride in the service they offer and deservedly so. After discovering a ruptured heating coil in my hot water tank, I asked Certified Gas Heating to remove the hot and cold water tanks and install a new hot water cylinder as part of a closed system. This is quite a labour intensive job requiring lots of changes to existing pipework but I was fully briefed in advance and so knew exactly what to expect. The team were always punctual and polite, left the house clean and tidy at the end of each working day and completed the work to a high standard.

Aziz and Kam did an amazing job for us replacing a gas pipe due to a leak that had appeared under our kitchen floor, and re-fitting a gas fire that had not been put in properly by another trader. They were able to start in just a couple of days. They worked solidly for the whole day, from 9am until 10pm. They reassured us about the work they were doing and explained everything in simple terms. Throughout the day they kept us updated on the very thorough testing they performed on the work. All of the pipework was done incredibly neatly, and when the work was finished they ensured everything was clean and tidy before. Incredibly friendly and hard working guys. Will certainly use CGH again in the future if any more work needs doing.

Aziz and his team recently undertook some major work on our home, including the complete removal of existing kitchen and slate floor, installation of underfloor heating, plumbing in of new boiler and relocation and replacement of pipe work throughout our four storey house. They also helped us find a plasterer and painter and managed that work alongside the building and gas works. Everything went very well, and we are thrilled with our new boiler, floor, gas works and kitchen. I felt as though the project and our property was in completely safe hands throughout. They made the whole thing as stress free as possible for us. Aziz was calm and careful throughout and the workmanship was of the very best quality and always undertaken with the utmost care for our home. They were friendly, understanding, nothing was too much trouble. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them and will in fact be using them again in the future to renovate our bathrooms. When our old boiler broke down just before Xmas and I was in deep distress, Aziz and Kem came to our rescue. With a professional, knowledgeable yet friendly and humane attitude they lost no time in getting to work, after having explained to us all that they were going to do. As the works started, more complications were found than previously anticipated; this did not discourage nor delay them and they kept working hard to sort out the unexpected issues, all this trying to keep their initial promise that my family and I would have a warm house for Xmas. Certified Gas Heating ticks all of the above and went been beyond my expectations. I like the "customer centric" service they provide - they listened to me carefully and really paid attention to my issues and expectations while also guiding me and providing me advises to chose a fit for purpose solutions that was cost effective to me (other companies proposed me much different solutions with much more unnecessary building work). They are highly trained professionals who explain very well their work to the customers so we always know what is going on and why. They are extremely reliable and never missed a call back, Email or an appointment. They have a lot of attention for details and therefore did a very good job in the timeline agreed - they also left (everyday) the house in a very cleaned state ensuring all dust, tools, etc. were removed. Finally they had constant care for us as they were regularly asking is we were happy with the work and if they should change anything - this continued after the work was done too. Aziz & Dean initially came out and worked on my faulty boiler end of last year and recommended replacing it due to the high cost of repairs. I rang back last week and was told they would be in thursday morning to replace the boiler and might need to finish up on Friday. They came in thursday morning on schedule and worked flat out to get everything installed and cleaned up by Thursday afternoon. Which I really appreciate as I am home with a small child. Aziz came to replace a central heating valve that was stuck. Given the age of the system he advised freezing the surrounding pipe rather than draining down. Unfortunately the freezing failed mid-operation and both upstream isolation valves failed to stop the flow. As a result a larder below suffered water damage. Aziz dealt with this quickly and well, bringing in a cleaner then a redecorator and offering more compensation than we could fairly accept. The C/H is now working correctly.
