The building work required on our home was more extensive than we could have imagined but we are so pleased to have found Charles Henderson Construction. As first-time homeowners, the building process felt quite overwhelming, but CHC constantly worked with our needs, answered all our many questions, and exceeded expectations. During the several months of construction work, CHC ensured that we were up-to-date as each task began and updates were provided as those tasks were ongoing and then completed. We were well-informed at every step, shown what was being done, and welcomed to ask follow up questions afterwards. CHC’s team of professionals were all timely, polite, tidy, and (most importantly) excellent at their jobs. During the build, CHC oversaw the work of each builder, window fitter, and decorator to ensure the upmost quality and care was taken. The work on our house was done as meticulously as if it was their own home. We could not be more pleased with the work that has been done. I engaged CHC to remodel my en suite bathroom. It was a boring beige shower room with a beige vanity unit. It was functional. I wanted a change; including a bath and more contemporary modern feel. I provided a plan for CHC and Henderson and his team brought the plan to life and it looks fabulous. Having worked with Henderson on another project there was a high degree of trust so I left him to get on with the work whilst my wife and I went on holiday. Having mutual trust with your builder is really important especially when they have to make decisions on your behalf which was the case here. Dismantling the old bathroom revealed a host of issues that needed to be fixed. Henderson pressed on to make good and that work has contributed to the wonderful finish. Costs were reasonable and there was no extravagance on CHC’s part in dealing with the remedial work even though it increased overall costs. Henderson is really hot on his team working neatly, tidying up as they go and ensuring the client’s property is secure at all times. The quality of the work is superb. His tiler did an excellent job and the plumber’s work is equally good. We are very happy with the finished product. CHC is a company I would recommend without hesitation. This kind of work can be very stressful but Henderson removes stress by great communication, great decision making and putting the customer first.

We contracted Charles Henderson Construction (CHC) to build our single storey rear extension in 2023. From the very beginning, we were extremely impressed by the quality of service, attention to detail, organisation and communication we got from CHC, and in particular from its Director Henderson, before, during and after the project. Henderson was great at listening to what we wanted and making suggestions as to how to make it work whilst staying within budget. CHC’s pricing was transparent and we didn’t get any unexpected bills. The two things that impressed us most were the amount of time that Henderson spent on site keeping a very close eye on progress, and his willingness to discuss our requirements in detail and adapt the work accordingly. My property when I bought it was a four-bedroom house which had had a ground floor extension previously to make the tiny kitchen more usable. That initial extension left a flat roof with all the problems that are often associated with it. I therefore applied to the council to have the property extended after living there for some time to eliminate the flat roof. I received several quotes and Henderson Construction was very competitive even though it was by no means the cheapest. I therefore decided to choose them even though I had no foreknowledge of them from the professional point of view. I was not disappointed. The team was very professional and gave my wife and I excellent service. They completed the work in a timely manner and their efficiency as well as the looks of my property at the end of their work left nothing to be desired. Indeed, the neighbours were keen to have their contact just in case they needed to carry out similar work. I engaged CHC to undertake the complete renovation of a severly neglected flat - including new kitchen and bathroom, new windows, new central heating system, replastering and painting walls and ceilings and installing new flooring throughout. CHC's quote included full project management of the renovation, which in my view was definitely worth paying for. I have a full-time job so the fact Henderson and his team were able to co-ordinate the works with minimal involvement from me was invaluable. At the initial site visit for the quotation, Henderson offered useful advice and recommendations, and this continued throughout the process. Communication throughout the renovation was quick and clear, and problems were raised promptly with reasonable solutions proposed. Any questions were answered properly, and photo updates were provided when requested. Big thanks to Chantelle who put up with lots of silly questions from me with professionalism and most importantly in this industry - complete honesty! I was very nervous about finding the right firm to do this work, but I am so thankful I chose CHC. The finished standard was exactly what I hoped for and the aftercare has been excellent too.

The building work which Charles Henderson Construction (CHC) was employed to convert a Garage which was attached to a semi-detached house to an Ensuite Bedroom, this included separate Toilet and Shower facilities and complete a New Fibreglass roof covering the existing Kitchen and Ensuite /Garage roofs and the tiling of the Toilet & Shower, the whole floor area. CHC teams were very considerate with facilities at the home in maintain the home by laying the necessary protection covering the carpets, and in front of the home laid boards to prevent any damage to the outside driveway before skips arrived. The Budgeted amount agreed for the work which was quoted did not change from start to completion. During the build Invoicing was done after completion of each stage of the work, and the final amount was presented after all the different agencies after completion. I had no concerns, and in all that time work was going to plan. The whole experience of employing CHC was very good with only one or two issues, and whenever this was brought to the attention of CHC, these were fixed without any fuss or problem. I can certainly recommend CHC as a builder who respect the Customer property and working areas, ensuring that the build was made on time and to Budget. After each day’s work, the team ensured that the building was secure on completion of each working day. On completion of the conversion a beautiful new room(s) was created by CHC and his staff. New open plan kitchen Henderson came highly recommended to me, and I can highly recommend his company to you. I wanted my ground floor (small kitchen, hallway, living room) opened up to give us more space. I relied on Henderson’s advice for a new open plan kitchen and living area. He advised us on the best use of the space we had available, and his advice was spot on. The CHC team are highly skilled professionals. They worked extremely hard for us and to a very high standard. Their attention to detail was excellent. They were always punctual and polite, and were fun to have around. Any unforeseen obstacles were swiftly figured out and sorted. CHC did the rebuilding work in our kitchen and made a small utility room and ground floor toilet for us in our home in West Ealing. between April 2023 and June 2023. The owner of the company, Henderson, project managed the works. He made frequent visits to the site ensuring that the work was completed correctly. As a project manager Henderson was extremely personable, caring and understanding. Early on in the work there was a possible structural difficulty. Henderson took the issue extremely seriously, was very careful to sort it out and he sought advice from his structural engineer before taking any action. I recently engaged Charles Henderson Construction for a major refurbishment of a large 4-bedroom maisonette in Harlesden. Henderson and his team worked diligently and steadily throughout the 4-months, delivering a well-built and superbly finished product. Henderson is a master builder who will add great value to any building project. His knowledge of the industry is unrivalled, and his project management skills are superb. When you engage CHC you will not only get an excellent Contractor but a project manager (Henderson) who will look after your property and budget like it’s his own, from the design phase through to post-handover. CHC work is covered by a 10-year structural warranty and Henderson has been quick to remedy any inevitable teething issues that arise post-construction. Henderson and his team have done a great job in rebuilding our kitchen. He is an experienced and honest builder and was able to advise us well. His team worked very hard and their standard of work was excellent. A few tiny ‘snags’ were swiftly sorted and the overall result we couldn’t be happier with. We had chimney breast removed, back wall of the house rebuilt, and a door cut through another wall, floor dug out and rebuilt, new ceiling, lighting etc. Security was well maintained and mess was kept to a minimum. Henderson himself visited the site every day and was pleasant, polite and knowledgeable at all times. We had separate kitchen fitter/designers, and they worked well together. From the outset we were impressed by Henderson’s approach - business like, professional and trustworthy. This was a big project for us which is why we turned to Which Trusted Traders - and we are so pleased we chose CHC. Henderson has done a couple of major home renovation projects for me, the latest being a major loft conversion. The work was of very impressive quality and done in good time. The stand-out quality with Henderson is that he is an honest man. He keeps his word. Having someone you can trust is a massive deal.

Mr Henderson was excellent at diagnosing the problem, and gave me the name of someone else who would be more appropriate and cheaper in fixing the leak in my roof. (Don was extremely good and effective) Mr Henderson was a very pleasant and honest man.

Cracking job, new downstairs bathroom with a huge shower, stunning floor to ceiling tiling and the new integrated kitchen is stunning. Perhaps as importantly, Henderson fully understood the needs to accommodate my fathers declining health, he has worked with occupational therapy so although this is suitable for wheelchair access it just looks like a high end bathroom and kitchen. The team worked to an extremely high standard, never upsetting the neighbours. Allowing workmen in to your home is a big commitment, we were very happy to leave this team to carry on with the work, it was easier on both sides to move out for a while, less stress too! Charles Henderson Construction completed a side return extension at my house in Richmond. The design and dedication was excellent. Henderson also gave suggestions to improve the living experience rather than just follow the architects design.

They constructed a large outside dwelling in the back garden. They demonstrated exceptional quality of work and the quality of materials sourced have been impressive but still cost-effective recommendations, this room can now be a multiple purpose room. Good standard professional project management, which incorporated our needs and wants at all time. We really benefited from their years of experience in the construction experience - which helped us with the design. We are really pleased with the very solid foundations and durability. Customer service and value placed on the 'customer experience' was great. They responded immediately to phone calls and emails which made the whole journey during the build a less stressful process for us. We would definitely use again and again if we need a construction company.

CHC project managed and undertook renovation work to our studio flat in Baywater. As is expected we were a little apprehensive when we first embarked on this project as it was our first time having any building or renovation work done.
