I have been using this company for years and have always received the finest service. Lovely, helpful lady in the office when booking my appointment. Today Simon serviced my boiler - he turned up on time and was efficient and courteous. Happy to recommend this company to others, would never consider any other company for my plumbing & heating needs.

We had our boiler serviced today and Simon was friendly efficient and helpful. This is the first time we have used CPH and will definitely continue to do so.

Always nice to get a reminder that the boiler installed by this company in 2016 needs an annual check and service. Today the engineer turned up at the appointed time and quickly and efficiently carried out the service. Left the area clean and tidy. Also very reasonable prices for the piece of mind knowing that the boiler is working as it should. Would always recommend this company for plumbing, heating and also electrical installation work..... I have no other involvement with this company other than as a very satisfied customer.

I have been very impressed with the service from Chelmsford Plumbing & Heating; they are always very friendly and helpful on the telephone and do their best to get a plumber out as soon as possible. Gas Engineer Simon resolved a problem with the water pressure in our heating system very quickly and efficiently, and has subsequently capped off and removed an old gas fire for us, which he was also kind enough to take away for safe disposal. Very courteous and helpful.

We have used CPH several times now - including servicing of our gas boiler and replacing a too-small radiator with a heavy vertical one. Most recently we had two radiators sorted out, one of which couldn't be turned off - due to a faulty valve which was replaced - and one which wasn't heating properly - due to an airlock, which turned out to be also the cause of loud clicking noises emanating from the heated towel rail in our shower room. Both office staff and engineers are always prompt, efficient, pleasant and honest in their pricing and we fully intend to carry on using their services.

I had problems with boiler igniting and going off repeatedly. Contacted to arrange a call-out, and was able to come out the same day! Simon was courteous, polite and respectful of my home. Established the problem, injector blocked. Cleaned thoroughly, and checked/ tested all working as should. Very thankful job was completed and in working order, as the temperature had plummeted. Always a job well done with Chelmsford Plumbing & Heating!

From the first phone to explain the problem right through to the operative finishing the work - everything was professional, high quality & seamless. Shower leak repaired & boiler serviced all very quickly and to a high standard. Simon left the premises clean and tidy and was polite and helpful throughout. We had a dodgy bathroom install two years ago and have had a toilet which didn’t flush properly and leaked since then. Despite trying to get the original company back (and two other plumbers) the problems remained until Chelmsford Plumbing and Heating came and diagnosed the complex problem and fixed it. They were very professional and as a family run business they also cared about our situation and did the repair quickly. Highly recommended

CPH fitted an induction hob in my kitchen, to replace a gas hob that needed replacing due to a suspected leak in the gas pipe work (hidden under floors / behind cabinets). This is a small job and it was difficult to find a contractor to show any interest in it, until I tried CPH. They showed interest, were responsive and the job itself was executed well.

I initially chose Chelmsford Plumbing & Heating LTD in May 2017 when they removed a warm air heating system and installed a boiler and radiators. It was a big job but I was so impressed with their efficient and organised working that I have used them ever since for all plumbing and electrical works. In addition they continue to service the boiler. The engineers are always punctual, explain what they are doing and finish the work to a high standard They offer excellent advice to all questions I ask. I would also like to say that the office staff are extremely helpful. An excellent company.

We had to have a new oil CH boiler installed to replace one that was beyond repair. Over the 3 days it took the engineers to complete the task they always arrived on time, were extremely polite and courteous and made sure everything was spotless before they left each day. They also took the trouble to explain exactly what they were doing and how to use the new system Owing to the age of the previous system some remedial work was requires to meet current standards . This was undertaken without adding to the original estimated cost . One could not fault them .

We had a new unvented hot water and central heating system installed over two days. Having had two dreadful previous experiences with other plumbing companies, we were very nervous, but Martin put us at ease and he and his team did an outstanding job in terms of quality of the installation and professionalism throughout. We were very impressed with Chelmsford Heating and Plumbing from the outset to conclusion of the work. We were given a very helpful review of what was required for our new heating and hot water system together with a comprehensive quote. The work was started and finished on schedule and the two fitters worked in such a way as to cause as little disruption as possible whilst also being polite and friendly. We had a minor issue the day after installation but someone came out very quickly to look at the issue and whilst not able to remedy it immediately, came back later in the day and sorted it all out, particularly bearing in mind this was the day before Christmas Eve and they should have finished work. We would not hesitate to recommend their services.

We had our extremely old gas fire and boiler serviced today and are very pleased with the service. The fire was 'taken apart' and thoroughly cleaned and tested; we were also given advice about maintenance. The boiler was also thoroughly cleaned and tested. We have these tested annually and this was without doubt the most thorough service we've received. We are extremely impressed with the professional service and definitely recommend.

The company recently installed a new gas boiler and water cylinder in my house. The work was carried out very efficiently and on time, by very competent tradesmen. They were very polite and friendly, arrived on time, and left no mess whatsoever. Everything was clearly explained, and and the system is now running well. I needed a new pair of bathroom sink taps to be fitted, I had already purchased these elsewhere as I wanted them to match my bathroom suite. The engineer arrived promptly, was very polite, knew exactly what I had asked for and got straight to work. Job completed swiftly, everything left clean and tidy, went the extra mile to sort everything I had concerns over. Reasonable price for the work involved. The job was booked in to be done within a few days of me calling them as my old tap was dripping. Pleased with the organisation & install of new Worcester Bosch boiler. Installers came on preferred date given, though was expecting a confirmation call beforehand. Professional service from whole team. Heating system running smooth and quietly.

When our old domestic heating boiler failed we had a number of quotations for new boiler and system revisions, of which CPH were not the cheapest but were by far the most professional. The new installation was carried out efficiently by polite and knowledgeable personnel who took care to explain the new system controls and function to us.
