Steve, Danny and Dave did a fantastic job together. They were like a well oiled machine working diligently and efficiently. Further more they were lovely guys and were so easy to have in our house which is fantastic when you're having work done with disruption. They also left our house clean and tidy at the end of their day which was a big help to us. They were so organised with everything and seemed to love working together. And finally the finished result was fantastic, they created a beautiful bathroom for us. I wouldn't hesitate to use this wonderful team even if you have to wait for a while. We have no doubts about recommending Chigwell Bathrooms Services, who recently completed a new bathroom & also a new downstairs loo Steve organised the whole process & after choosing our equipment at Fayer's Just Add Water showrooms ( guided by the knowledgeable Chris ), we agreed a start date. On the first day Steve & his team arrived and set to covering up our hall & stairs with protective plastic covering. Only then did the team ( Steve plus Danny & Lee & Dave) started work removing the existing bathroom & separate loo. The area was combined to provide a walk-in shower, sink, loo & bath. We are delighted with the quality of the work. In addition to the core team, Steve brought in additional specialists (plasterer, electrician & carpenter) as required. Everyone who came to the house was unfailingly polite & friendly, and helpful and the project ended on time! We can wholeheartedly recommend Chigwell Bathrooms Service

They are a most professional team and we are 100% satisfied. On arrival, the first day, they protected all our carpets with protective covering and each night everything was mopped and cleaned before they left. From the moment of first contact I was impressed with Steve's professional approach and punctuality. This gave me confidence that he and his team at CBS were the right choice for my complex bathroom refurb. I was not wrong. A top job from start to finish. Planning, design and execution all first class. The link with Fayers for design and supply works well. All the staff employed worked efficiently, were polite and left the site clean everyday. After a little research we found CBS via a recommendation from ‘Fayers’ Easy process from start to finish really. Our particular design/layout (of the bathroom) was met satisfactorily and Steve and his team worked their magic and made it a reality for us! We now have a beautiful bathroom and taking a shower is a pleasure in such harmonious surroundings. As a team, all of the tradesmen who worked on this project were very professional, friendly, polite and took the time to listen and provide suggestions, as and when required. Can’t fault their expertise and punctuality! And . . . . good fun in the process - it was a pleasure to make tea and offer biscuits for/to them. CBS made an excellent job of upgrading my existing outdated shower enclosure. After my initial contact, Steve responded very quickly and arrived on time to give me a quote. A date and time was agreed to start the work and the guys arrived on time everyday. I was impressed with how they took the time and care to cover and protect furniture and floors before starting work and how everything was left spotless when they left. There were a couple of hidden challenges which cropped up during the installation and these were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Communication was excellent throughout the whole process and the work was completed according to the agreed schedule and budget. I would definitely recommend CBS and will not hesitate to use them again.

Steve and team completed 3 bathrooms for us earlier in the year and we were delighted with them, so when we were let down by insurance contractors who refused to complete work as it wasn’t like for like, we asked Steve if they would take the work on. The work involved replacing a cloakroom, walls and floors in 2 rooms, tiling the hallway, replacing wooden floors, fitting underfloor heating and decorating all rooms (all work to remediate flood damage). The team did a fantastic job again and we are really happy with the result. As before, the house was left clean and tidy every night and cleaned up beautifully at the end. A lovely team to work with and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

On meeting Steve at the outset I was impressed with the way he handled us and the way he explained the job. From the day that Steve and the team arrived it was clear we had engaged a quality top-end outfit who were intent on delivering a fantastic bathroom. From the way his team covered all of the open areas of flooring and the bedroom it certainly gave us confidence in the process and I have to say that the end product looks absolutely first-class. Steve, arrived when he said he would (8am) make sure all areas protected and carried out the upgrades. Over the past 30 plus years we have carried out numerous bathroom updates and wish we had known about Steve and his company then. Can’t praise him or the quality of his work high enough-just excellent- site left spotless every night even had his own hoover and all within budget. After doing some research we chose Steve to renovate our toilet and bathroom whilst we were away on holiday, and we are so glad we did! He looked after our home leaving it very clean and tidy, he kept us updated every day with progress and ultimately delivered a very high standard of finish. Steve and his team did a truly fabulous job creating two beautiful new bathrooms for us 5 years ago. So when a manufacturer’s fault emerged with the shower enclosure and we needed to have a replacement fitted, there was nobody else we wanted to trust with the work. We knew it wouldn’t be easy to take out the original enclosure, replace it with a different model of slightly different size, and leave everything looking perfect, but Steve and Ted worked a miracle. In our experience, Chigwell Bathroom Services are brilliant.

This is the fourth time that my family and I have used Chigwell Bathroom Services. As always, Steve and team are a pleasure to have in the house. Steve and team have given us three fabulous bathrooms, replacing a family bathroom and two en suites which were all leaking. The tiles we chose for the showers were individual hexagonal tiles which were difficult to work with - Simon was meticulous in setting out the pattern and making sure it flowed properly around the corners. The result is fantastic. The whole team were friendly and helpful, even helping make good decorating issues from other tradesmen outside the bathrooms. They ensured all surfaces were covered, cleaned up meticulously each evening and did a very thorough clean as each bathroom was completed (thanks Ted). A brilliant team that we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

We were very happy with the bathroom renovation carried out by Steve and his team. He was very friendly, professional and arrived on time each day. He covered our hallway and stairs on the first day with a protective layer and cleaned up meticulously and the end of each day. Steve's co-workers were also very friendly and professional. Chigwell Bathroom Services replaced an old shower unit by ripping out the old surround and the backing tiles. He replaced it with shower boards and a new tray and surround. We had problems with the delivery of some of our items so our job had to be put back. Steve was very accommodating, professional and did an excellent job of fitting us in around his schedule because of the delays with our deliveries (not his fault!). He did a first-class job and was such a clean worker, covering all our stairs and hall with protection for our carpets. I would thoroughly recommend him.

Steve and his team did a great job of refurbishing my dilapidated and leaking bathroom. The work included replacing the ceiling, plastering throughout, new lighting and pipework. They also decorated my hallway and replaced the hall radiator. I am really pleased with the result: a lovely finish and a transformed bathroom which is so nice to use. Steve was very organised, helpful and friendly and kept me informed at each stage as I was away when much of the work was carried out. I appreciated his experience and guidance on fittings and layout. Everything was done on time and within budget. Steve followed up at the end to make sure I was happy with everything - he quickly returned to change the tap and make adjustments after the supplier provided the wrong model. Steve and the team kept everything clean and tidy and did a good job of clearing all up at the end. The three flights of stairs to my flat will not have been easy but they got everything up and down without complaint. I would use them again.

We had previously used Chigwell Bathroom Services to renovate our bathroom, so when it came to a complete renovation of our kitchen, based on the excellent experience we had previously with Steve and his team, we knew the company we wanted to work with. To say we have been blown away by the results would be an understatement! All required works were explained fully beforehand (essentially taking the kitchen space back to a shell, repairing/renovating the walls/floor and fitting a completely new kitchen) and a clear quote provided, along with realistic timelines. The job was delivered to budget and on time with the minimum of fuss. No nasty surprises, price wise, and no delays. There is not enough space in this box to tell you how delighted we are with our new bathroom. Starting out the venture of selecting items and a company was daunting not knowing what you are going to get until the job is done. Having made up our minds to go with Chigwell Bathrooms we were not disappointed; they answered all our questions, gave great advice and even liaised with the shop on our behalf. If you want top quality professional craftsman who not only take pride in their work but respect the householders and their home, then hire Steve and his Team. From day 1 they advised us of the schedule of work so together we can plan; very important for us as we only have one toilet in the house! Steve was on-site to co-ordinate the plasterer, tiler, painter, electricians and mastic man. Everyone of them was polite, great banter and working to Steve's high standards. Our hallway, stairs and landing was covered with protective coverings which was taped down securely, all their tools were stored tidily, they vacuum at the end of the day and even brought a mop and bucket. Their punctuality was excellent and arrive every day with a smile on their faces ready to start work. Very impressed Steve cleaned the bathroom and vacuum when they finished the job! We had a plan for a bathroom with a "spa" feel - we now have Champneys. Thank you so much Steve, Chris and the team for making our dream come true. We definitely know who to contact when we plan to revamp our kitchen.

We had our en-suite bathroom fitted. The works were not completed in time through no fault of Stephen as the units ordered did not come in time from the showroom. I cannot fault Stephen for his work ethics an cleanliness. He always kept us informed of the progress and chased up the showroom . Steve and Jack rolled up on the appointed day and spent almost two hours covering the floors so there was no damage. They managed the project to a tee. A really well managed and efficient job. Nothing was too much trouble. Once the tiles were removed Steve had to replace rotten floorboards at no extra charge! He also fitted a new hot water tap, again at no extra charge. We are really pleased with his work and ethics and would highly recommend him and Jack. You will always have to wait but worth the wait! Ready for the next bathroom at the end of this month.

We want to praise Steve and Jack for bouncing back straight after lockdown, to provide their usual seamless professional service. It was the 2nd job they have done for us, and we had originally chosen them on the warmest recommendation of our neighbours. Like the first job it was complicated - an old house with layers of tiles over a lathe and plaster surface, crumbly old bricks, labyrinthine pipework to move and water flowing between appliances on 4 floors. As we anticipated, they dealt with it all and created us a beautiful new bathroom with no angst to us at all. One of them was present every time a new craftsman joined the project eg tiler, carpenter, electrician, to hand over. Each new trade was executed efficiently and as courteously as Steve and Jack themselves. Our house was swathed by them in protective dustsheets and the carpets were sealed up with an adhesive roll of durable plastic. We were mopped and swept up each night, and the drive was left spotless. Their attention to detail extended to changing the carpet gripper at the edge of the bathrooms tiled floor. They painted the ceiling and even refreshed our paintwork to leave the bathroom sparkling. They were spot on for quality, price and timing and left us with a great end-product. We sincerely recommend them because you do get what you pay for.

Chigwell Bathroom Services proved to be everything we were looking for in a bathroom company and certainly lived up to previous reviews. We had to wait a couple of months for them to start as they were already booked up but now I understand why. Steve, Jack and Louie’s attention to detail is quite phenomenal. Each day they arrived promptly just before 8am so always started on time. The hallway, stairs and bedroom carpet were protected initially and then swept and washed down each night. The job was completed on time with minimal disturbance to us generally. Decisions and choices throughout were handled in a very professional manner and with consideration to our requirements. The plasterer and tiler who they obviously use frequently were equally easy to deal with. Stephen, Jack and Louie, in co-ordination with other sub-contracted workmen, did a great job refitting our en-suite bathroom, complete with new shower including glass & tray, radiator, extractor fan & new roof vent, toilet, mirror, basin & cabinet, tiles, walls, lighting and ceilings. Project management was exemplary, with all workmen arriving punctually over the two weeks, and tasks proceeding in a well organised fashion with a minimum of disruption to normal routines. Great attention was paid to clean-up and protective coverings for all areas involved. Full priority was given to our job throughout the task. At all times the team were polite, congenial, and diligent, and team leadership was clearly executed. The job has been completed to an excellent finish and we are very happy with the result. Minor adjustments and queries evolving throughout the job were received cheerfully with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. In follow up after completion the team went above and beyond the call of duty, even correcting other plumbing faults they observed, unrelated to the en-suite itself. During our own survey of quotations prior to the work we noted Chigwell Bathrooms were not the cheapest, but they were worth any difference. Their expressed commitment to after-service is sincere. We have just had our bathroom and downstairs toilet refurbished by Steve & Jack and both rooms look exactly as we had hoped they would. From day one, Steve and his team treated our home with care and respect, keeping it as clean as possible, with coverings laid over hardwood flooring and carpets and dust sheets over the staircase. They were friendly and pleasant to have around every day. If we had any queries or needed something altering at the last minute they were willing to oblige. Thank you Jack & Louis for hoovering and mopping down each day so that no dust was left around the place. Thanks also to Chris the tiler whose work is very precise and neat and to the plasterers, electrician and mastic man who made it all complete. CBS have just completed a full refurbishment of our bathroom (approx. 5 sqm.), which included removing a WC partitioning wall, building out onto the landing, tiling walls and floor, and fitting a full suite plus accessories. We were recommended CBS by a previous client back in the summer, so arranged a visit to discuss the job and provide a quote. All very straightforward. What we didn't realise is how busy these guys are. When we finally got around to arranging a start date in November, March was the earliest available slot. I can say though, that they're definitely worth the wait. The reason being the quality of work is outstanding. During the first week of the work we were out of the country, which could have been a worry. Not so with Steve and Jack. Any problems were relayed to us and dealt with swiftly, and we returned home to find all tools and materials neatly stored away. This was also the case for the remainder of the job. From the initial meetings to completion, the service received was always prompt, friendly and courteous, with Steve or Jack always willing to answer any questions or give advice when needed. Always on time, or early for the most part, they kept us updated every morning on what would be happening that day. If we had another bathroom in need of work, CBS would be my first choice. Just don't expect them to start next week. Or the next. Or . . . .

The new bathroom installed for me by Chigwell Bathroom Services ("CBS") is the first time I have undertaken a full room renovation, so naturally I researched the project fairly extensively and obtained quotes from various different people before finally proceeding with CBS. CBS were neither the cheapest nor the most expensive quote I obtained, but based on reviews, the professional approach and advice from Steve during the first meeting, and level of detail in the quotation, I decided CBS were the best option. Now the installation is complete, I know I made the right decision. My expectations for the end product were high but I can honestly say my new bathroom looks even better than I had expected. CBS obviously take a great deal of pride in the work that they do and are keen to see that it is completed to the customers satisfaction. This is exemplified by the fact that Steve will be returning shortly to seek to fix an electric bathroom mirror which was faulty on delivery from the supplier, so we have had to wait for a new part from the supplier which they believe will fix the fault. Like many have said before me, I would strongly recommend CBS to anybody looking for a new bathroom.

Chigwell Bathroom Services were one of a number of companies we met to initially gain a quote for a full bathroom renovation. As soon as we met Steve and Jack we instantly knew they were the team for us. They listened, offered advice and put together a detailed plan and clear timeline for the job which, due to the size and shape of the bathroom, wasn’t a straightforward exercise. They went as far as recommending that we keep certain elements of the existing bathroom which ended up saving us a considerable amount of money in the process. Integrity and customer satisfaction are at the heart of what they do. A detailed quote at the outset, clear communication throughout, turning up when they say they would and constantly looking to go the extra mile; they delivered the project on time and to budget. Steve and Jack arrived at 8.00 a.m. every day and on day one they covered the floors and stairs with protective sheeting. They started by stripping out our old shower room and three layers of tiles from the walls and all the rubble was taken away on a truck. The schedule over the next two weeks for the installation of plumbing, electrics, plastering and tiling worked very smoothly. Chris the tiler did a fantastic job that transformed the space. Steve and Jack were very easygoing but also very well organised and they made sure that we were clear about what they were doing at every stage of the job. They were also happy to answer any questions that we had, sort out any small problems and always checked about the measurements and positioning of the fixtures and fittings. At the end of the job all the packaging and other rubbish was taken away on a truck. They were very careful in the way that they went about the job and made sure that everything was tidied way at the end of each day and more importantly put the toilet back! So we can’t thank them enough for doing such a brilliant job on our new shower room. Sue in the office was also very helpful and even came to see that everything was going to plan. I cannot recommend all of team involved highly enough. They treat your home as if it were their own and are the cleanest and tidiest workmen I have ever come across. We used CBS to refurbish our main bathroom into a modern shower room and are delighted with the result achieved by Steve and his expert team. We had a prompt 8am start each day and all the tradesmen came in as scheduled over the two weeks. The old bathroom was completely stripped out and taken away on the first day, and not left outside unsightly. The ceiling and whole room were re-plastered, and the tiling on the walls and floor done beautifully by Chris. Steve, Jack and all the tradesmen did an excellent and professional job. Mess was kept to a minimum as protective coverings were laid, and at the end of each day they tidied up very well inside and out - Jack would mop his way out the front door! Sue in the office, is lovely and friendly, and kept us informed along the way. CBS have provided us with a personal and professional service and a beautiful new shower room.

Steve, Jack and the team have recently completed our main bathroom and downstairs toilet. They have done an excellent job! The bathroom (which is very small), has been completely redesigned to accommodate a walk in shower and looks fabulous! The team had to have the whole room re-plastered, including a new ceiling. They also organised local carpenters to replace and rehang the door, creating extra space in the room. The tiling by Chris was also beautifully done. The team's attention to detail means that the result is stunning! Our downstairs loo, the smallest (very small!) room in the house was also cleverly replaced (including plastering tiling etc) with some thoughtful plumbing to create extra space. Again the job was finished to a high standard and extra items such as a new mirror, towel rail etc were fitted. It now looks clean and fresh and definitely bigger! I can thoroughly recommend Steve, Jack and the team. They always clean up after themselves daily and stick to timescales and produce an excellent final product.

Chigwell Bathroom Services have just completed our loft en-suite shower room. The result is stunning! The bathroom looks positively luxurious and would not be out of place in a five star hotel! The room also feels bigger than before due to the clever design. The shower is a much better shape and size than before and the mirror unit is a stunning addition to the room. The quality of the workmanship (including the tiling) is excellent! Their job preparation was thorough and all the problems created by our previous builders were remedied. Steve, Jack, Chris and the team were always friendly and polite and Susan was also very helpful. They also protected all our furniture, carpets and floors, removed rubbish promptly and cleaned up after themselves daily. We are looking forward to CBS replacing our main bathroom in the new year and have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone needing a new bathroom!

Trusted Trader website & asking to see their work. Another key factor that helped us choose this company was they sent us a DVD showing their high standard of work & which also promoted Which? Trusted Trader. This was a major deciding factor. We have now booked Chigwell Bathroom Services to completely redesign & refit a new kitchen for us. I can see why Chigwell Bathrooms are Which Trusted Traders but why are they not Trader of the month? From my experience they should be every month! They are EXCEPTIONAL. I truly believe they provide a unique service that can’t be beaten. After no success with the big stores (hidden costs, terrible reviews & poor products) we selected Chigwell Bathrooms to replace the ensuite. What a difference! Truly the most professional people I’ve met, incredible attention to detail & very meticulous. Susan sent a detailed program together with their estimate. Although detailed it was clear to read, with no hidden cost. I felt this was outstanding value. Susan and Steve gave us a list of suppliers, again what a difference in the quality of products, Steve organised everything which took the weight off us. The 1st day Steve & Jack arrived & covered everything with sheets for protection. During clearing the ensuite Steve discovered a leak which had caused the floor to rot & needed replacing. The extra work was done at a fraction of the cost had I sought another contractor. They went out of their way to get everything right, e.g A valve needed replacing which would of cost us £150, Steve went to the other side of London to get the part for £20. Nothing was too much trouble. The end result, a stunning en-suite. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I was blown away with them so much so I’ve booked them to do the bathroom! For now, we will miss having them around! Ray.

We recently had both our bathrooms fitted by Chigwell Bathroom Services. I couldn't compliment these guys enough. The quality and standard of their work is fantastic. They were the tidiest workers we have had in our house. After each day, they would clean up, ensuring the house was kept clean and tidy and to stop dust building up. All floors were covered with special dust sheets and walls were covered with protective sheets to ensure our floors and wallpaper were kept in good condition. We have had many workers in our house over the years, but we have never experienced such organised and clean workers. The job they took on, was extremely complex with a challenging reconfiguration and a steam room- nothing phased them! Once again their standard of work came out on top!

We would like to highly recommend Steve, Jack and all the trades people Steve used on the installation of our bathroom. They stripped out the old one completely and installed a new one which has turned out so modern and attractive. We could always talk over any little worry that occurred - hardly any - and they always came when they said they would and secondly always introduced each trade like the plasterer, tiler, etc. so we knew who was who. It is the first time we have had people in who always came when they said they would, at the time stated, and kept us in the picture every step of the way. Made sure our sanitary ware was delivered when it should be and also the tiles. They started by completely removing the existing bathroom and went on to install new fittings, storage units, wall tiles, floor tiles, and painting and fixing the accessories which left us with a lovely stylish, fresh, new bathroom. Just what we wanted! We were very happy with the way they worked, always patient and always ready to give helpful advice. By using an expert plasterer, tiler, plumber and electrician we felt we were getting the best possible service and were impressed with how the work progressed seamlessly and quickly with the minimum of disruption. We chose CBS after talking to six different companies. They were faultless from start to finish. The service began when Sue and Steve visited our home for the first time. They listened to our requirements and gave us lots of ideas that improved the design. After the first visit, we received a detailed written quote. CBS were more expensive than most of the other companies we spoke to, but the all-inclusive quote reassured us. I can confirm that the price quoted is exactly what we paid and there were no nasty surprises. We had to wait 3 months before they could start work and I understand this is typical. They are honest about their workload and schedule their jobs so they will keep their promises. Our two-week project ran like clockwork. It started on time, and finished early. The team arrived on the dot of 8am every morning and stayed until the the team completed the work scheduled that day. The various trades were co-ordinated like a military operation. CBS kept us informed about who would be arriving at our home, when they would be there and how long they would stay. They took the time to introduce us to each trades-person when they arrived and kept mess and dust away from other rooms in the house. They respected the fact that they were working in a home and not a building site at all times. The quality of work matched the level of customer service and CBS delighted us with the end result. We whole-heartedly recommend them to other customers.

Steve and his team had already done two jobs for us in recent years. The first of these was a bathroom rebuild and the second was a complete garage conversion into a new bedroom with en-suite shower and toilet. So when it came to modernising our 25 year-old kitchen, we turned once more to Chigwell Bathroom Services for help and advice. Steve quickly sent us a very reasonable estimate for the job, and we soon fixed a date for the work to start. As with the previous jobs, the work was very well organised and moved ahead like clockwork. Different teams of builders, bricklayers, plasterers, tilers, plumbers, carpenters and electricians all worked together as a team under Steve's control. Steve also coordinated with the kitchen unit supplier, helping us out with his contacts and extensive experience. Punctuality, organisation and cleanliness were first class, and as with previous jobs my wife and I were both really pleased with the end result. We have a really beautiful and modern kitchen now - and we are especially grateful to Steve for his advice in shaping the final design. We have no hesitation in giving Steve and his team the highest possible praise for a job that was really well done (at a fair price!) and undertaken in a highly professional and friendly manner.
