About
Chris K's Joinery in Perth specialises in fine carpentry. Our founder, Chris Kahle is a master joiner/cabinet maker originally from the capital of Saxony, called Dresden in Eastern Germany. He has worked in buildings like the Semperoper in Dresden, Castle Dresden, Gewandhaus in Leipzig and many more. Besides his many years of fine restoration and bespoke joinery work he has also trained apprentices for joinery and cabinet making. When Chris first moved to the UK he fitted windows for a premium Austrian company called Internorm. In 2006, Chris K's Joinery was established in Edinburgh, 5 years after Chris moved to Perthshire.

Delighted with the outcome, the joiners were competent, efficient and friendly service. Work was completed on time, and the joiners cleaned up after themselves. A bonus. I started with the kitchen and now I will do the other rooms. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them. They are very reliable.

Chris did a kitchen refurbishment for us which involved refitting worktops and units. He did a really good job and we were delighted. On another occasion he fitted a new PVC back door, and replaced our fireplace with a hand-built unit with a shelf for our TV. We would highly recommend Chris. He is an excellent tradesman - prompt, courteous but above all he produces exactly what is agreed.

Chris was asked to complete various carpentry jobs during a major refurbishment of a two bedroom flat. These included taking our an old fireplace and finishing and making a cupboard for the electricity meter. His work was of excellent quality and he is easy to work with, reliable and an excellent communicator. On the basis of this he was asked to quote for a complete kitchen fitting which was also completed to a high standard.
