A C Electrics

We have been having a lot of problems with a trip switch in our fuse board tripping out regularly when using our dishwasher. We were concerned that it may have been the electrical socket and wiring under the sink rather than the dishwasher that was at fault. I like word of mouth recommendations for tradespeople and I knew a friend who had recommended an electrician to a mutual friend. He put me in touch with the electrician, Chris McLoughlin of AC Electrics. We were relieved when Chris carried out checks on 9th April and confirmed that the dishwasher not the socket and house wiring that was causing the problem. The dishwasher was a number of years old. We purchased a new one installed by Euronics and have had no issues since. While Chris was with us, I asked him to give me a quote for a new fuse board as there are a number of electrical improvements we want to have done. He confirmed our existing board wouldn't meet current regulations and quoted me around £800 to supply and fit a new one. We agreed we wanted it done, and Chris turned up at 8.30 am on the day, 4th June, and completed the installation with no problems at all. Cost £811.17. I asked Chris if he had time to look at a switch on our lounge wall that operated our garden lights by RF, but had stopped working. Chris solved the problem in a few minutes. Very happy with the quality of work and he's a very personable guy. We will be using him again to replace about 16 halogen ceiling bulbs.

Excellent installation job carried out by Chris, he overcame any hurdles that were thrown up by an old house.

Had some sockets put in, channelling done & some outdoor lights put up. Have used this company several times now & the work done is always top notch. Chris arrived at the time he said he would and was very well presented in his appearance and manner. He treated our home with respect and wore shoe covers at all times. He worked efficiently, cleanly and tidily taking the utmost care. He completed the installation of the fused connection unit for 2 sockets and you couldn’t tell that he had been there leaving the wall and surrounding area as he had found them. He then went the extra mile by helping me put the tv on the wall and connect up the sky box and ensured it was all working before he left. So 10/10 for all aspects and the charge for undertaking this work was competitively priced too.
