Having been let down by previously recomended alarm companies who either didn't turn up to quote, or who did quote but never turned up to do the work, we found Woodward Security on this site and based on the many great reviews decided to book a quote. Chris was prompt with his reply, agreed a date/time to suit and after assessment quickly recomended the best options for our property which needed an old, broken system completely replacing plus sensor reconfiguration following an internal refurb. We found Chris to be extremely knowledgable and friendly so booked Woodward Security to undertake the work. We then had to change the booking due other contractors, and Chris was very understanding and agreed to amend the installation date without fuss. On the day of the work Chris explained what he was going to do, checked noise levels were ok as I was working from home at the time, and was polite, courteous and professional throughout. He went through the full system and set up, including the mobile app and went through everyrhing in detail. Once finished he then tidied up and left no mess at the property, which was great. All in all we found Chris to be knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and tidy. Pricing was reasonable and we do feel like we got real value for money, which is all you want as a customer. If you need a new alarm system or are due an upgrade then Woodward Security is a fantastic choice.

I picked Woodward based on good reviews and I prefer to use a locally owned business. I needed my out of date cameras and recorder replacing which involved total rewire and new transmitters. I wasn’t disappointed Woodward were as good as their reviews and I will definitely use again.

After receiving a couple of outlandish quotes from other firms I came across Chris Woodward. He listened to our requirements, quoted a reasonable price. He scheduled the work to be done before our holiday, arrived on time, did the job without a fuss, cleaned up after himself. In addition to the alarm system, he fitted an outside light. Following a recommendation from a neighbour Chris Woodward quoted for a CCTV system for my home. I thought the quote reasonable and Chris, Louie and George installed a 4 camera Hikvision CCTV system at my home. All were friendly, professional and efficient and the system was up and running on the same day - working in darkness and rain to get it done! A couple of glitches were sorted out without quibbles and Chris replied to email queries about system operation very quickly. I would recommend unreservedly.

Chris swapped out my ageing CCTV system and was kind enough to return a few times to adjust camera settings and cabling to accommodate night time image quality issues. Cameras have a good quality image and the system has been reliable so far. Both installers wore shoe covers in doors and face masks too. Also serviced my house alarm.

Really competitively priced, fantastic team willing to answer all your queries and questions on alarms and CCTV. Just had our house alarm installed and it's such a neat job they've done and we were really happy with the fact that they don't try and up sell and will tell you if you genuinely would need something within your home or not as they say security is not one size fits all. I also like the fact that they understand not everyones budget is the same and can do basic packages with the ability to add on products as and when suitable for customers. On top of all that the team are so lovely and approachable!

During the quotation phase, there was full discussion on what was available and the best options to satisfy the requirements of a full CCTV system and full alarm system. There was no pushiness. On the agreed date, Chris was punctual, discussed the schedule for the day and set to with no fuss. After each system was installed he fully explained the system, sorted out downloads of the relevant Apps and how to use them. There is the inevitable dust when walls are drilled, but this was kept to an absolute minimum. Chris worked tidily and methodically providing a top quality job. He was so diligent that his coffee kept going cold! Excellent job done and I would highly recommend him.

Having suffered a break in, I needed to organise a home security system to help dissuade and protect my home. I did contact local firms but as a result of the reviews on this site I decided to contact Chris, even though he wasn’t as local. Regardless of that fact, he was the first person I saw and spent more time listening to my needs and concerns to define exactly what I needed. As I result even though the eventual quote was higher than the local firms (it was more sophisticated than the other proposals) I was much happier with the system being provided, and he was able to install it very quickly, on a day/time that worked best for me. Woodward Security came out did a survey recommend a couple of solutions after I told them my requirements no hard sell very easygoing, came back in 2 weeks fitted my system did a clean tidy install and showed us how to operate system can not recommend them any higher that 10/10 nice guy as well, nothing to much trouble, and great after service always answers calls or rings you back ASAP very professional outfit.

I contacted Woodward Security just before I was due to go on holiday. Chris came out at short notice and fixed the fault. Whilst at my home, I asked him to carryout more work, installing window and door sensors, a new siren box on the outside of the house, move a sensor to a different room, all on my return from holiday. A quote was immediately prepared and agreed and a date fixed for the work to be carried out. He arrived on time, on the day agreed and completed the work in 2 hours. I did not know Chris prior to him fitting my CCTV systems and booked him on his good reviews and price. Chris arrived on time and is very professional, polite and friendly and works in a tidy manner. He listened to what I wanted and recommended the best system for my needs and explained the reasons why it meets my needs. He fitted 4 x high quality infrared CCTV cameras outside my home, running the cables through the loft area to the outside so there are no unsightly cables running around the outside walls. He also fitted wireless CCTV cameras inside my home and detached garage as well as a smoke detector and all are connected to the audible alarm box outside. The outside and inside cameras can all be accessed on my smartphone and give very clear images and I can zoom in on my smartphone or TV so I can always check what is happening and will also be notified of any problems as they occur. Everything has one year’s guarantee and after this period I can have a service of the alarm system and cameras, which includes the batteries being changed, at a very reasonable price. Chris travelled from Leicester to Nuneaton as distance is no problem. I recommend Woodward Security 100%.

Chris is a great bloke who helps you to understand what equipment you would need to do the job. There was no pressure during the sale for extra equipment we wouldn’t need, this continued through to going ahead with the job once quoted. Chris did an excellent job during the install and the cctv looks fantastic. High quality camera as promised. Would recommend 100% and already have.

Chris serviced my wireless alarm system - a Visionic PowerMaster 30 (as his prices were extremely reasonable and from reading his positive reviews) and replaced all the appropriate batteries in to each sensor. He was extremely polite, friendly and helpful - talking through each part of the process. He also provided some really good advice. The great thing about the service was that Chris offered a 12 month warranty so that if anything went wrong, he would remedy it. A few months later, I began to experience problems with the alarm and it would no longer activate. I emailed Chris and within a few minutes, he responded, with the necessary steps in order to clear my alarm error reports and to finally be able to activate my alarm again. Had I called another alarm engineer, this would have cost me somewhere in the region of between £90-£100. Chris sorted this without charge - which I greatly appreciate. Chris is certainly an alarm engineer/specialist, who I would recommend without any reservation.
