Darren has been out to help us a few times over the past year. He fitted our new boiler and thermostat system, fixed plumbing issues for both our toilets, and fitted our new dishwasher on short notice when AO.com let us down. We are so glad we found Darren. He is so friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does. We have often needed his services on short notice and he's always been out to the house promptly. We've never had a tradesperson we feel so at ease around and trust so much. His work means a lot to him and it really shows. I would recommend Darren without hesitation and I have done so already to family and friends. It's been such a relief over lockdown knowing we're able to get in touch with him easily for all the things that have gone wrong in the house. We'll continue to use CHS Glasgow for all things gas/plumbing over the coming years!

Following a major leak in our boiler, we contacted CHS Glasgow on the recommendation of a neighbour. Darren came out the same day and diagnosed the issue. He gave us various options, and did not pressure us at all, but we decided to have a new boiler installed. This was completed a week later following a power flush of our existing system. During such a precarious time due to COVID, Darren and his colleague took every precaution to protect themselves and us. They worked in a professional, tidy, courteous way, and completed the works on schedule. We’re delighted with our new boiler, which has now been working nearly 24hrs. I would not hesitate to use this company again, and would and will recommend them. Thanks Darren for a first class service.

We have an apartment in Glasgow and it required a new boiler. Darren removed the old boiler and fitted a new one. He left the area clean and tidy and disposed of all materials. We did this working remotely with Darren due to travel restrictions. Great communications and a fair price.

We needed a complete new CH system. We looked at several potential suppliers but actually trying to get a proper quote out of them seemed to be impossible. We looked at CHS Glasgow 'reviews' on here and on local FB. Darren Farr visited and was insistent on 'consulting with us' and seeking to understand what we were trying to do. He was very happy to speak with us on several occasions, at no cost, to ensure that the system,- boilers, piping and radiators - were both what we wanted and would meet the needs for heating the house. All before we accepted the quote. We agreed on the system and the cost, then a date. The quote was what we paid, there was no 'sudden extra', even although the job proved to have one or two unforeseen complications. The job was completed in 3 days. This involved stripping out the old system, boiler, water tanks, piping and radiators. This over three floors. Then bringing in the new components, fitting them and running the system. The team from CH Glasgow worked assiduously throughout the three days they were here. They were very tidy, they were very considerate both to ourselves and to our neighbours. All the old components were removed while the guys were here. We now have a very warm and toasty house. The team were friendly and professional. They did a great job and finished it within the allotted time. Very very happy to recommend CHS Glasgow and happy to talk to any potential customers on their behalf.

We initially asked Darren of CHS Glasgow to provide us with a second opinion after our boiler had started to make terrible screeching noises and 2 engineers from our usual maintenance firm had failed to give us a satisfactory explanation of the problem. Darren attended promptly, took time to examine the heating system and to explain that the excessive noise related to the heat exchanger in the boiler. As our system was over 23 years old, we decided to have a new boiler installed along with the cleaning of the system and the installation of radiator valves. All this was carried out expeditiously, in a clean and tidy manner, and at reasonable cost and we now have a lovely warm house with a much more efficient system than previously.

Darren and Willie at CHS supplied and installed a new Valiant boiler, radiators, piping and a stock cock for me. Their work was impeccable. Really high standard and great advice on how to get the best out of a heating system, as well as regular servicing. Completely trustworthy and a pleasure to have in my home. Adaptable to your needs. Wouldn’t hesitate to use CHS again!

Getting hold of a reliable, competent trade professional can be a challenging experience. Many don't return calls or fail to keep an appointment; misdiagnose faults; charge an arm and a leg. Dealing with Darren was a breath of fresh air. What looked like a complicated leak repair (and others might have made it very complicated) was carried out quickly and at a more than fair price. Plus, he's a really pleasant guy with a totally professional attitude. Overall, couldn't be more impressed.

Darren responded quickly to my problem of a leaking pipe causing water to drip through ceiling. A previous plumber failed miserably to diagnose the problem. Darren methodically worked out the source of the problem hidden in the eaves of the house and carried out the required repair. I can not recommend him too highly for his speed of response, politeness and clean work

To me all heroes come in different ways and today we met ours after our shower leaking again I thought it would be impossible to get a plumber out and if did would wait a while and pay a fortune. Well with a very happy heart we found our hero today Darren of CHS Glasgow after his wife responded to our post in Facebook yesterday he phoned came round all PPE protected and fixed the problem within seconds and also refitted our lights in the kitchen we took out as was leaking into lights. I cannot praise him enough and even more social distanced he took time to chat away to us! What did it cost nothing he said to pay it forward on this occasion as only needed resealing and as big g at 70 odd cannot get out and I am self-isolating due to high-risk group well we did insist in giving him something for his children which still took a lot of enforcing so to summarise if you ever need a plumber or bathroom central heating installed please go to Darren website attached he certainly put a spring in our steps today his chat alone was worth millions !!!
