We contacted Circle Security to arrange for a quote to replace our old intruder system and to have CCTV installed. We have found Circle to be professional, courteous and outstanding throughout lour dealings. At the outset, Scott devised a system to meet our needs. On receipt of the quote, Scott was very helpful in answering our questions so that we had a clear understanding of what was involved. The installation process was very smooth and Scott, Grant and their apprentice, Sam, were a joy to have round our house. They took great care when installing the various hardware and also ensured that we had a good understanding of how to operate the technology. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience! Outstanding!

We chose them on the basis that they were the nearest Which Approved Trader. It was a good choice. They were asked to replace our existing alarm system which was 33 years old and beginning to give trouble. They kept to their appointed times both for the initial survey and the installation and were happy to include the late modification I requested. They were all very careful regarding the positioning of the component parts, always consulting us to ensure we were happy. They gathered all the waste material and cleaned up when the work was complete. They were happy to spend as much time as required to demonstrate the system to us before leaving. The work was all done at the agreed price. I would certainly recommend them.

When replacing an old system, we looked at the alarm boxes near us, chose who was being used most and spoke to a couple of neighbours we knew who were very happy with Circle Security. After a long delay on our part, the chosen system was installed by Grant and his assistant, Alastair, both of whom kept us informed of work as it progresed. The job was completed with careful clearing up and the system and app operation explained to both of us. Can't fault the installation.

Circle Security replaced a 30-year-old intruder alarm system in our four bedroom house. Both design and installation were excellent: options clearly explained, questions and requests quickly followed up, and the work itself done quickly and well. Very pleased with the result.

Grant visited our home and fully explained all the options that were available to us and what the related costs would be. A few weeks later Grant came and installed our new security system and it has been working perfectly ever since. The service provided to us by Circle / Grant was first class and I'd thoroughly recommend using them if you're thinking of installing a new security system.

We decided to replace our 30 year old house alarm system recently, so canvased friends and neighbours for experience with house alarm installation and support companies. Circle Security was the company that was most recommended. When they visited, they explained the options clearly, gave a clear breakdown of the costs and nothing was a problem. We had to change the installation dates a couple of times and they accommodated our requests without any issues. They arrived when they said they would, were very considerate and cleaned up as they went. They even managed to run the cables in the loft despite all the junk we have stored up there! The real plus is that they are a local firm that is based in our community, so it is easy to drop into the office if you have a question. Would definitely recommend these guys for you home alarm installation and support.

Circle Security were great from start to finish. They were willing to upgrade our old system while others wouldn’t work with us. They did a great job and were accommodating and flexible while we had other work being done in the house. All the work was done thoroughly and Grant did a good job of explaining things. Going forward with a maintenance contract I feel they will give us the personal service we were looking for.

Circle Security gave a very professional impression from first contact to the completion of the installation. The work was done according to plan and to budget. The engineers were friendly and went about their business professionally. We have had two issues with the equipment in the three months since installation and they have been prompt and effective in resolving those. The issues were with items of kit not the installation work by Circle. There is reassurance in dealing with a local company. (I waited to submit this review so that I had experience of the systems in operation and of any support needed. The support has been great; if there are further issues with items of kit I will seek to update this review, but we assume that these were one-offs and all now resolved). The app for the video system could be more intuitive to use and/or have better instructions for use; perhaps integration of the alarm and video systems would be useful; but overall the alarm, video system and lighting all operate well and we are very satisfied with them.

I've just completed a full house renovation and had an alarm installed. My choice was to have this installed over 3 days, weeks apart, due to tge amount if work ongoing at the property. Circle were, as ever, very accommodating with my request and on all 3 occasions their technicians were clean, tidy and communicative. I've used Circle twice before, for an alarm and CCTV upgrade and I highly recommend them!

I searched the Which database of Trusted Traders to find a reliable provider of home alarm systems in the Lothians. I settled on Circle Security because of reviews received. I was not disappointed by my choice. Within a week of contacting the business I had an employee carry out a thorough survey of my property. Communication was excellent with sound advice offered on what would be best security options. Following the survey I received a comprehensive quote clearly detailing what we had discussed and offering additional possible options we had discussed. Everything was clearly priced. I confirmed what I wanted done and received confirmation of a prompt installation date. Two employees arrived on time and carried out the necessary work without fuss. They kept me abreast of what they were doing, removed the previous increasingly costly alarm system, tidied up as they went and ensured that I understood the new system before departure. They went the extra mile to satisfy myself as a customer. In fitting the outside alarm boxes to the front and rear of my property they discovered that the new boxes left unpainted wall that the earlier different shaped boxes had covered. I had some additional wall paint and employees painted the walls where required before installing new alarm boxes - most impressed and avoided me having to later climb ladders and paint! Invoice arrived with items priced correctly. I wish all tradesfolk operated to the same high standard. Recommend!

We used Circle alarms to replace my mother's old system. On the initial survey visit, we were given good advice and all the options to consider. The date from accepting the quote to the work was just over 2 weeks which was super. On the day of the work - they turned up on time, the work was done very efficiently, made no mess, or noise, and were very good at communicating. I highly recommend circle alarms.

Three house moves over the last 18 years and three alarm installations later and we wouldn’t use anyone else! The initial workmanship and subsequent ongoing service received has always been of a high quality and the installation team have been efficient, helpful and respectful of our property on every occasion. At the first visit, we got good advice on alarm and CCTV without a sales pitch. The installation was done 3 weeks after placing our order. The fitters completed the job in the 2 days allocated, efficiently and tidily.

Circle replaced a 10 sensor alarm system from a previous supplier. Their whole approach from initial quotation through to system handover was very professional and created confidence. Installation took a day and a half and they worked very conscientiously, leaving the site tidy. Final bill was as per the quote, even though they had a little extra work to do after they'd deinstalled the previous system

We are really glad we chose Circle Security to install our house alarm. We really like that this is a local company who are very responsive - responding to emails within a couple of hours if not minutes when we were looking for a quote, with follow up questions and to arrange the installation. We also found them to be very competitive price wise. We received a text with a 10 minute warning before they were going to arrive to fit the alarm system. The engineers came as arranged to update our alarm system. We wanted to go part wireless and pet friendly, so our dog can wander without setting off the alarm. This all happened seemlessly, and with no mess, and the whole experience was great - as we have come to expect from Circle Security over the 30+ years we've been using their services. Delighted also with our new 'app' for remote controlling, and the peace of mind this new security system gives us.
