The installation by Circle of my new security system has been a great experience from start to finish. They listened to our needs and made sensible recommendations on what we would need. They went the extra mile to ensure that cables were hidden during installation, they arrived exactly when they said they would and everything was left very tidy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that required a new or replacement alarm system.

I had a new alarm installed by Circle on 21st March 2024. Everyone with whom I dealt be it by 'phone, email or in person was polite and helpful, answering all my questions clearly. All appointments were kept. I was particularly impressed that after installation, waste was cleared up, divided into appropriate piles and I was told where each pile should go for appropriate recycling or disposal.

I had an alarm system installed by this company and have been very happy with the process and experience. I've found Cricle to be polite, responsive and professional at every stage of this process. On the day of install, Alistair & Grant were very punctual. They were friendly, informative and kept my expectations set the entire time doing a great job. Service was excellent and prices fair. I have no complaints on the installation of my system.

Circle Security have just installed a new security system and fire alarm system in our office. As a small community charity we were looking for a local, friendly and professional company to do this work for us. We contacted Circle Security to arrange for a quote to replace our old intruder system and to have CCTV installed. We have found Circle to be professional, courteous and outstanding throughout lour dealings. At the outset, Scott devised a system to meet our needs. On receipt of the quote, Scott was very helpful in answering our questions so that we had a clear understanding of what was involved. The installation process was very smooth and Scott, Grant and their apprentice, Sam, were a joy to have round our house. They took great care when installing the various hardware and also ensured that we had a good understanding of how to operate the technology. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience! We chose them on the basis that they were the nearest Which Approved Trader. It was a good choice. They were asked to replace our existing alarm system which was 33 years old and beginning to give trouble. They kept to their appointed times both for the initial survey and the installation and were happy to include the late modification I requested. They were all very careful regarding the positioning of the component parts, always consulting us to ensure we were happy. They gathered all the waste material and cleaned up when the work was complete. They were happy to spend as much time as required to demonstrate the system to us before leaving. The work was all done at the agreed price. I would certainly recommend them.

When replacing an old system, we looked at the alarm boxes near us, chose who was being used most and spoke to a couple of neighbours we knew who were very happy with Circle Security. After a long delay on our part, the chosen system was installed by Grant and his assistant, Alastair, both of whom kept us informed of work as it progresed. The job was completed with careful clearing up and the system and app operation explained to both of us. Can't fault the installation.

Circle Security replaced a 30-year-old intruder alarm system in our four bedroom house. Both design and installation were excellent: options clearly explained, questions and requests quickly followed up, and the work itself done quickly and well. Very pleased with the result.

We decided to replace our 30 year old house alarm system recently, so canvased friends and neighbours for experience with house alarm installation and support companies. Circle Security was the company that was most recommended. When they visited, they explained the options clearly, gave a clear breakdown of the costs and nothing was a problem. We had to change the installation dates a couple of times and they accommodated our requests without any issues. They arrived when they said they would, were very considerate and cleaned up as they went. They even managed to run the cables in the loft despite all the junk we have stored up there! The real plus is that they are a local firm that is based in our community, so it is easy to drop into the office if you have a question. Would definitely recommend these guys for you home alarm installation and support.

Circle Security were great from start to finish. They were willing to upgrade our old system while others wouldn’t work with us. They did a great job and were accommodating and flexible while we had other work being done in the house. All the work was done thoroughly and Grant did a good job of explaining things. Circle Security gave a very professional impression from first contact to the completion of the installation. The work was done according to plan and to budget. The engineers were friendly and went about their business professionally. We have had two issues with the equipment in the three months since installation and they have been prompt and effective in resolving those. The issues were with items of kit not the installation work by Circle. There is reassurance in dealing with a local company. (I waited to submit this review so that I had experience of the systems in operation and of any support needed. The support has been great; if there are further issues with items of kit I will seek to update this review, but we assume that these were one-offs and all now resolved). The app for the video system could be more intuitive to use and/or have better instructions for use; perhaps integration of the alarm and video systems would be useful; but overall the alarm, video system and lighting all operate well and we are very satisfied with them.

I've just completed a full house renovation and had an alarm installed. My choice was to have this installed over 3 days, weeks apart, due to tge amount if work ongoing at the property. Circle were, as ever, very accommodating with my request and on all 3 occasions their technicians were clean, tidy and communicative. I've used Circle twice before, for an alarm and CCTV upgrade and I highly recommend them!

I searched the Which database of Trusted Traders to find a reliable provider of home alarm systems in the Lothians. I settled on Circle Security because of reviews received. I was not disappointed by my choice. Within a week of contacting the business I had an employee carry out a thorough survey of my property. Communication was excellent with sound advice offered on what would be best security options. Following the survey I received a comprehensive quote clearly detailing what we had discussed and offering additional possible options we had discussed. Everything was clearly priced. I confirmed what I wanted done and received confirmation of a prompt installation date. Two employees arrived on time and carried out the necessary work without fuss. They kept me abreast of what they were doing, removed the previous increasingly costly alarm system, tidied up as they went and ensured that I understood the new system before departure. They went the extra mile to satisfy myself as a customer. In fitting the outside alarm boxes to the front and rear of my property they discovered that the new boxes left unpainted wall that the earlier different shaped boxes had covered. I had some additional wall paint and employees painted the walls where required before installing new alarm boxes - most impressed and avoided me having to later climb ladders and paint! Invoice arrived with items priced correctly. I wish all tradesfolk operated to the same high standard. Recommend!

We used Circle alarms to replace my mother's old system. On the initial survey visit, we were given good advice and all the options to consider. The date from accepting the quote to the work was just over 2 weeks which was super. On the day of the work - they turned up on time, the work was done very efficiently, made no mess, or noise, and were very good at communicating. I highly recommend circle alarms.

Three house moves over the last 18 years and three alarm installations later and we wouldn’t use anyone else! At the first visit, we got good advice on alarm and CCTV without a sales pitch. The installation was done 3 weeks after placing our order. The fitters completed the job in the 2 days allocated, efficiently and tidily.

Circle replaced a 10 sensor alarm system from a previous supplier. Their whole approach from initial quotation through to system handover was very professional and created confidence. The engineers came as arranged to update our alarm system. We wanted to go part wireless and pet friendly, so our dog can wander without setting off the alarm. This all happened seemlessly, and with no mess, and the whole experience was great - as we have come to expect from Circle Security over the 30+ years we've been using their services. We had used this company to upgrade and then maintain the alarm system in a former house and were well satisfied. When we moved there was an old inoperable alarm in the new house. Circle Security came promptly to review and advise what kind of new alarm was appropriate. The recommendation and quotation came promptly and seemed sensible and pragmatic. On the day they removed the old system and fitted the new one. The work was done quickly, cleanly and exactly as had been discussed and on completion, the functioning of the alarm was carefully explained. Replaced of an old system with a monitored dual path modern one. The work was completed on time, tidily and care was taken to avoid unnecessary need for redecoration. System alternative options were fully discussed and a proper hand over and demonstration was done on completion. Circle have just upgraded our alarm system, which they originally installed in 2012. They started and finished on time, everything worked first time and they were very helpful when explaining how the new system worked.

Was recommended Circle Security by a friend who bought a house with their system fitted and used them to provide maintenance on their system. Very clear cost breakdown of proposed work with additional optional extras if we wished. We had a full alarm system + security light fitted out the back. The install should have taken 2 days but the team completed it in 1. Very quick install, no mess left and pleasant guys that talked me through on the day the positioning of sensors and wires. There was a slight issue with wiring due to the nature of our property but it was explained clearly why they could not wire via plan A and we agreed to have the wiring go through a different route which was completed to a high standard. We'll look to get CCTV in the future and will get Circle Security back to install this.

From arranging a suitable time to attend the maintenance of my annual security service to Scott arriving everything was super smooth. I was given a window of 2 hours and received a text stating Scott was 6 minutes away which was great. Scott was sensitive to COVID restrictions, removed footwear and carried out work professionally, proficiently and communicated progress. Was very pleased and confident with all work carried out. Recently moved into a New Build House which did not come with any intruder alarm. I reviewed a number of companies online and decided to get 3 quotes from companies I was considering. Kevin from Circle Security arrived at the house and provided me with a quote based on my needs which was in the middle of the other 2 quotes but they could supply and fit products the other 2 firms could not. I have recently redecorated my apartment and part of that process has been upgrading the alarm system. Circle Security first removed all evidence of the old alarm then, after I had redecorated, returned and installed their own system, demonstrating great flexibility in working around my schedule. it’s rare to deal with a company who come promptly to estimate. Listen to your needs. Make informed recommendations. Send a prompt reasonable quote. Turn up on time to do the work (armed with dust sheets) and didn’t leave any mess. They even filled the holes where the old alarm fittings had been. They took time to explain fully how the new alarm worked so I feel very confident with it. And they replaced a bulb in an existing security light & didn’t charge for that. They were recommended to me and I’ve no hesitation recommending to you.

After an initial phone call Kevin visited my home to look around to get an idea of what I wanted and what he felt best for my home. After showing Kevin around he got an idea of what I wanted and said he'd email quotes to me asap. I hadn't realised that "asap" would be the same day! I'd met with Kevin around 9am in the morning and received a quote by 4pm the same day. I had some questions after receiving the quote. Kevin and Scott were both very helpful and patient as I asked question after question regarding the installation. By the end of the email trail I was aware of the plan and how the system would work and arranged an installation date. I was available in the morning to be shown the system, app and setup to get an idea of how it worked. I never caught the guys names, but they were both very helpful, courteous and willing to answer any questions I had on the system. The system was explained in full until I understood how it worked. The house was left as it was visited with no mess. The wires were well hidden and to be honest, if you didn't know, you wouldn’t notice they were there. I feel I was given a system that meets my requirements The installers were so helpful and willing to answer questions and queries. I had misunderstood the fobs they were selling and when this came to light, they more than happy to explain and had already pre-empted this by having available other fobs etc. I can't recommend Circle Security enough. Circle Security fitted an upgrade to our system, as the old one was out of date and we couldn't use a wireless set up. We had got a price for install over three months ago, but I was only able to go forward recently, but they kept the same price that they had quoted. They turned up on time, fitted the updated equipment which took most of the day, cleaned up and then spent the time to explain the system and ensure that the App on my phone worked properly as well. Good service and we have also taken up the yearly contract to service the alarm. They are local and are worth supporting. Did a good job and we are pleased.

This is the 3rd Alarm system that we have had from Circle Security since 1990 and as always they have delivered a brilliant service. Grant was the engineer on this install (with some help from Scott) and was very professional, he was very tidy and put down dust covers and he also hoovered up after himself. He explained everything clearly about the new alarm and the new WiFi cameras. The company have even allowed us to keep one of the WiFi cameras for 2 weeks so that we can check them out and decide which type of camera we would like if at all before we made a decision which I think is a great service with no pressure to purchase any add ons. I highly recommend this company and will be using them again as we are considering cctv system as their prices are extremely reasonable.

We used Circle Security around 26 years ago (1993) to have our original wired system put in. This year prior to decorating we called on them again to install an up to date wireless system and remove the old wiring. The fitter arrived on time, was courteous and worked solidly for most of the day and completed late afternoon. He then explained the workings of the control panel and demonstrated the various functions. He wrote in the various functions and codes in the manual so we would remember his instructions. He swept and hoovered up completion and left all areas tidy. We would have no hesitation to use them again and would recommend them to our friends.

Kevin initially came by to see what was required and gave us all the information we required to make an informed decision about which of their systems would suit our needs. They arranged a date and time and arrived promptly. They worked efficiently and were courteous and considerate. They cleaned up after the work was completed and made sure we were comfortable with our system before leaving. I would highly recommend this firm to anyone.

Kevin provided a comprehensive recommendation, based on our needs and talked me through various options. At no point did I feel rushed into a sale - that cannot be said for other providers. Kevin from Circle security came out to check an older system I had, he was fantastic at explaining what needed to be upgraded and he provided a great quote for the work to be completed. There was no pressure or marketing calls which I really appreciated. New System installed on 30th July by Scott, Callum and Ian, fantastic service very professional and efficient clean and tidy. The system was explained to me and is a much easier system than the one I had previously, I am a delighted customer the service received was first class. Everything has been clearly written down and a book of the zones provided allowing me to read up on my new system.

After experiencing problems with our previous alarm supplier, we got a couple of quotes for upgrading our monitored system. Kevin from Circle Security provided a clear explanation of what they would do, essentially using the existing wiring but replacing the main panel, keypads and sensors and upgrading the communicator. They were quick to point out that the system has to be easy to use and made some small modifications accordingly. We chose Circle as their price was similar to the other quote, they are local to us and are a Which Trusted Trader. They installed the system for the agreed price in one day, cleared up well after themselves, and left us with a system that is easy to use and does just what we want. We did get a problem with a tamper fault after about a week, which they came and rectified without any questions. Their engineers were excellent, and we have no hesitation in recommending them. This is the third time we have selected a Which Trusted Trader and have been pleased with all of them.

I've had my alarm system for over twenty years and in that time it has occasionally been added to. Before Circle I had used three other companies over the years and had mostly had no trouble. Lately I was having problems with my system and with the reliability of engineers and so I decided to completely upgrade it and find a new supplier.
